Driver's side window rejects automatic roll-up. when using the one touch auto roll-up function, the window rolls-up, but comes back down on it's own (back to half-way down) once it reaches the top. this has happened a lot prior to paying for an infiniti dealership to replace the window motor and now happens periodically (4-6 times per month) after the motor was replaced. date of service 1/2/18 #esc window moter - 4170 cext - 1 80731-jl00a motor assy - regulator, lh$395 notes form mechanic: "found drivers windo moter weak so windo will not stay timed. replaced moter and re timed window". performed by austin infiniti (invoice # 97034). this would occur during driving, while vehicle was stationary and also only when accessories were on (engine not on). anytime prior to fix. now it continues to happen randomly/peiodically due to unknown reason.

Left headlight holds humidity without any cracks or damage to the light assembly. as a result, left main headlight does not work. electrical control unit (radio, air, display unit) shuts off sporadically and will not shut on until car is restarted. light with "swerving car" will not shut off. brake light sporadically comes on. *tr
Car died at 2 years 35k. wouldn't start despite apparent accessory power. rolled down hill damaging door. car was used normally every day and was never left in a manner that would draw power while parked. it was also never left undriven for more than 12 hours. the car was, however, driven for mostly short trips. dealer diagnosed it as a dead battery. an internet search shows that this is an extremely widespread problem. there is a tsb for the coupe but not the sedan for a continuous power leakage from the vent control valve. http://www.infinitig37.com/tsb/1st34.pdf. *tr
