Fuel gauge inaccuracy caused me to run out of gas on the interstate. i was travelling at highway speeds when this occurred. there was sufficient time and space to pull over to the shoulder. contacted virginia state police. they dispatched a highway safety patrol vehicle that gave me enough gas to reach a gas station

I have 118k miles on my vehicle. i recently have had many issues with my fuel gauge. i've read hundreds of complaints online regarding the instrument cluster and fuel gauge issues. this is very dangerous because the other day i almost lost control of my vehicle i think because it was almost out of fuel. the gas gauge read over 1/2 tank. i called the local infinitilupient and they said there were no recalls. there should be. hundreds of people have said that this happens around 120,000. this needs to be a recall.

Fuel gauge does not work . it never goes below 2/3 full and could cause the car to run out of gas. if this happened when on the freeway it could lead to a dangerous situation as steering and brakes would be affected along with avoiding other vehicles if car lost power intraffic.

Fuel guage not reading correct level. fuel needle is fluctuating up and down whenever it wants. ex1...gas light comes on with needle on e empty...car die...then put gas full til gas is spillin out of car. and needle goes full just under the f full line. sometime goes by driving and the needle will fluctuates down to half way mark. shut off car...go shopping and come back start car and needle at 3/4 mark. drive hm. shut off. start car next day and needle at 3/4 mark again. not accurate as u can tell. after drivin awahile the gas would go down and gas light comes on. drive home. turn car off. nxt morning start car and the needle is at half way to 3/4 way mark gain. this not possible bcause yesterday the needle was low and gas light came on. now its back at 3/4 mark. sometime its at 1/2 way. sometime its at 1/4 mark. three times my car died on me due to no gas...while the needle is at 1/4, 1/2, or 3/4 way. and the gas light did not come on either when it died on me b.c needle was above the e mark. this is a very dangerous and a safety recall issue that needs to b address. dont wait til some one car get caught on fires! don't wait til the car die in middle of freeway traffic and end up in a rear end collisions or accidents! dont wait for tragedy to happen and legal actions! please nhtsa help do recall for this infiniti 2005 sedan g35. and forward this to mfgs. and infiniti! please help my complaints and others with this vehicles. please email me or call me with outcome of resolutions! im very upset b.c i've wasted over $350 replacing the cluater gauge...odometer houaing and both the whole fuel sender units in the gas tank! tree times! it still fluctuates giving wrong readings of the gas! so upset b.c i had my 10yr & 13yr old daughters in the car with me and we almost got rear ended by drivers. and causes collisions & back up on freeway! email me results & resolutions!

Takata recall: my car started having problemswith in 2 weeks. the car would turn off with no warning, the gauges are broke, has funny smell of gas, fuel pump is broke, the temp guague is broke, stalls, electical problems,broke/cracked gasket, leaking coolant and oil.

Driving car in traffic - the car stalled. almost rear ended. no warning. unable to restart car for 5-10 minutes. on engine light on - vcf (off) light on - slip light on. the problem is with the crankshaft angel sensor and/or the camshaft position sensor. car automatically shuts down.

The fuel gauge will not reflect accurate levels. after filling the gas tank, and turning on the ignition the fuel gauge needle doesn't move. *tr

Fuel gauge does not show accurate information. cannot fill gas take full anymore. will only hold approx. 6 gallons. if car runs out of gas without proper warning may cause bad accident. there should be a recall on this matter immediately. *tr

The vehicle was a 2005 infiniti g35. on 11/8/12, i was driving on the freeway in the middle lane going approximately 65 mph and the car suddenly lost all acceleration. it dropped from 65 mph to 0 mph within minutes and the car seized up and was not responsive to pressing on the gas pedal. i was barely able to get to the right shoulder without causing an accident. the shoulder was extremely narrow and the car was immobile. the gas gauge on the dash said there was still a quarter of a tank of gas left. i walked to the gas station and put a gallon of gas in the tank to see if it would start up. as soon as i did that, the car started up with no problem. i went to fill up my tank and when i got there, i poured about 16 gallons of gas. i'm afraid that this could happen at any time, and i would be stranded with my car in jeopardy of getting hit. this gas fuel system problem happened on 11/8/12. *tr
