Takata recall; it is taking honda a very long time to replace my airbag, got the recall notice march 2016 and they still don't have the part. they tell me not to drive it but i have no other way to work. i think for something this serious they should have a better system in place. calling the dealership today to request a rental; maybe they will get the part in quicker if they need to pay for a rental car.

Takata recall we have been told by honda our cr-v is unsafe to drive but have not been given a replacement vehicle - despite numerous attempts to arrange for this at the local dealer (schomp honda, littleton, co). the dealer said they would try to arrange for a sedan of some type however this is not acceptable, as we must have an all-wheel drive vehicle due to the nature of my work (i drive for uber and lyft). i opened a case with american honda on 3/25/16 but as of this morning (3/30), despite being told someone would get back with me by no later than 3/28, our case has not even been assigned to a case manager. so we are forced to drive, and my passengers are forced to ride in, what honda calls an unsafe vehicle.
