Takata recall - honda ignores my repeated requests for a manager to return my call - after receiving my notification letter, i called honda regarding this recall. i asked to have a "case manager" for this issue, and was assigned one. however no case manager has ever called me despite six separate calls to request to speak to one. i have also called multiple times to speak to a manager and have been promised one will call me back by that day. after over a week and multiple requests, still not one honda representative has returned my call. i have been driving around with an unsafe car from honda and they have ignored my repeated requests to have a case manager to help me with this issue. also, they offered me a rented car for only up to $35.00 a day - however for that budget it is a small compact car that cannot fir my car seats. i went to the honda dealer service manager and told them with that budget i will not be able to get a car that will fit my car seats - he said that's the budget and honda will not pay a penny more. so now because of this honda recall, i have to pay an extra $10.00 a day till they get this part - sometime in summer 2016!!! not only did honda not even have their "case manager" or manager return a concerned consumers request to talk to someone after leaving multiple messages, but now this recall is costing me money. i will never buy a car from honda again, they are negligent and treat their customers with disrespect.

Takata recall i am following up on nhtsa complaint # 10881965. it was submitted in july 2016. the complaint pertained to honda's air bag recall notice received in march 2016. nothing has been done to date. also, we have not heard from the nhtsa since submitting a complaint (see complaint number above) .

Driver's front airbag inflator. i have been waiting for almost 3 months dor my driver's front airbag to be replaced due to the recall i received from honda in early march 2016. i took my car for servicing in early may to a honda dealer and my car was put on the waiting list for the driver's front airbag to be replaced but i have yet to hear from the honda dealer regarding this recall. i recently called the dealer to inquire as to when my driver's side airbag would be replaced and i was told they still had not received the parts necessary to repair the recall on my vehicle. i asked how much longer i must wait and i was told they would call me. it's been three weeks since i called and i haven't hear anything. now i receive another recall in mid july 2016 stating there is another recall on my car with the passenger front airbag which has the same exact problem as the driver's front airbag and that wont be fixed until late summer/fall. i feel very unsafe and uneasy driving my car in its current recall status. i don't think it's right that consumers should place their lives at risk driving unsafe cars. honda should provide loaner cars until the recall can be completely fixed. now i can't have anyone sitting int he passenger seat because it is unsafe and i am forced to drive my car in it's current condition because i have no other means of transportation.
