Consumer was pulling onto the street and was involved in a collision. upon impact, air bags did not deploy. consumer received a recall letter today referring to the air bags. *ak
Consumer received recall 04v035000 concerning srs cable real connector. no parts were available. service manager dina creel. *ak
Consumer stated that the dealer indicated that the use of a cell phone inside the vehicle will cause the air bags to deactivate. *ak
After rear ending another vehicle 50 at mph front air bags did not deploy. driver and passenger sustained minor injuries. honda was notified but did not resolve the problem. *ak *nm
While driving 30 mph vehicle was involved in a collision. upon impact, dual airbag did not deploy. as a result, driver hit face on the steering wheel, and sustained back and facial injuries. *ak
I was in an automobile accident with my honda crv. a car turned in front of me and i was unable to stop. i broad-sided the vehicle and the passenger air bag opened but my air bag did not deploy but there was gas coming out of the dash on the driver's side. i went to the hospital by ambulance and sustained neck and back injuries. the car was declared a total loss.*ak
Involved in head-on collision with mid-size sedan, me - 35 mph, her - 15 mph. car was impacted 2 in left of center of license plate (driver's side) driving radiator up through engine. passenger's air bag deployed, driver's did not. driver's shoulder harness failed. driver received multiple contusions to face, chest, pelvis and sprained neck and upper & lower back.*ak
I was hit head-on by a mid-sized sedan which drilled my license plate back to the firewall. the driver's side airbag failed to deploy, despite the speed (me 45, her 20) and the driver's shoulder harness failed to restrain me. i crushed the steering column with my chest and had to be removed with the jaws of life. honda sent a technician who declared a faulty seatbelt and faulty airbag sensor. the vehicle sustained over $15,000 damage, was fully repaired, although my insurance paid for it, not honda. i sustained multiple soft-tissue injuries, broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder. i continue with therapy almost three years later. *nm

I was hit by a vehicle in november 2003 (while waiting at a traffic light) that was hit by a car that ran a red light which caused $10,000.00 damage to the front of my car. in the accident my right arm was injured and eventually was operated on. the airbag in my car did not deploy even though the car was hit squarely in the front at a high rate of speed and i think the airbag unit is defective.
Steering wheel and air bag. position either puts driver at risk of injury from air bag, or driver cannot see the dash gauges. both are serious design flaws (and potentially safety issues) on this vehicle, 2003 honda crv, ex model. *la
While driving at highway speeds, the driver over compensated when turning steering wheel and lost control of the vehicle. as a result, the vehicle flipped over. none of the air bags deployed. the consumer sustained a broken neck and injuries to the arm/face and head. the vehicle was totaled. *ak *scc
