Takata recall i do not think that i have received a recall notice and therefore my takata inflators are apparently dangerous. we drive the car every day, and we are concerned. i checked our 2008 honda's vin number and discovered that itit has not been recalled. what do i do now?

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 honda accord. upon starting the vehicle, the air bar warning indicator illuminated. the contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign number: 15v665000(air bags) in 2015 regarding the air bags. crown honda (555 cypress ave, redding, ca 96001, 530-241-4321) was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall and the vehicle was safe. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 40,000.

I was driving home from work when suddenly my passenger air bag deployed without a passenger, the road i was traveling on is under construction and had a slightly raised platform however i drive this road daily at the same speeds. i was shocked to see that there are no recalls for this, despite the all of the negative press and articles of honda being investigated.

Air bag indicator constantly showing. safety issues & recalls warning air bag may explode dealer unable to fix the problem . it's a glinch?

Takata recall i read the information on the dot website but wasn't able to find the information needed. the indicator light is showing on my dash. could this be related to the recall? from startup to shut off

Srs light on

Takata recall. honda contacted me again regarding the takata airbag inflator. i traded this car into an acura dealer approximately 10 years ago. i have contacted honda by phone and mail 5 or 6 times yet they still haven't corrected this. somewhere someone is driving a dangerous vehicle. i sure they could find this car if they followed up correctly. they are obviously not very concerned about safety.

Takata recall. took my honda to get recall done. got call back that said the recall was done but the airbag light was permanently on due to the recall replacement. they said it was because new part they made did not sync with my seats because they are 'after market' seats?! my honda was bought brand new by my grandfather at breakaway honda in greenville south carolina, and the seats in it are the same ones that came with it when drove off the lot! i now live in north a carolina and crown honda of durham nc is refusing to due anything about it saying it's not their problem, and that i need to take it up with the sc honda location. take my car to get a recall done and got a car back with airbags that no longer work?! doesn't make sense it me. i now have a car less safe than before.

Both front driver and passenger side air bag curtains that connect to the roof are leaking water into the vehicle when it rains. i'm aforesaid this could affect my airbag in the event of an accident. i never realized this is why my driver seats are wet when it rains.

Takata recall

I have received several takata airbag notifications to take my care in to service the recall r21. the same recall for my car is listed when i enter my auto vin in the www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. also, my 2008 year car type is not listed in the www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/06/22/business/international/takata-airbag-recall-list.htm list of cars needing the recall. when i took my car to get serviced they told me that my type of car is not applicable. i am conflicted since i am receiving these notices and this recall is listed in the nhtsa website. please advise if my 2008 honda accord car should or should not have the r21 recall fix? if i should please advise what i need to do since the honda accord service state i do not have the car that needs the recall fix.

Light was turning on off when turn on street. lighton seat belt was also doing the same thing. i didn't know what it was so i took it to the dealer.they said it was the airbag doing all the problem . so they explained that there was a recall on this problem so they change it on time before any other serious accident can happen.

Takata recall sometimes my sideairbag signal blinks and when i press the brake paddle hardly it sounds like rough and also sometimes when i touch the door i feel little bit electric shock.

My 2008 honda accord driver side airbag is currently not under recall, however every other airbag in the vehicle has been recalled and replaced. therefore i have no confidence that the driver side airbag is safe. i have just received a notice of impending bankruptcy re takata. do i have recourse for a replacement for a vehicle currently in use, given that the airbag may be defective, and the company is going out of business?

'takata recall' i had gotten into an collision involving a deer on 10/26/2016. i was going approximately 60 mph when i struck this roughly 110 pound deer. the impact was on my front bumper on the passenger side of my car. when i took it to get repaired i had no other choice but to go with my insurance's geico express facility since all the shops were full from hail damage vehicles. in the estimate and on the repair order i received from geico and amm collision. my vehicle never had the work done to the structure untill 2 months ago. it stated that there were 3 structural components that were worked on. the right rail assembly 4 hours or repair time 60810ta5a00zz (where front and rear panels connect, heavy buckle), the left inner panel 3.6 hours repair time 04695ta0a00zz(rolled with putter panel, includes time for brackets at the top of frame), and the right front panel (crushed, cost effective to replace)60659ta5a50zz. my vehicle was in the shop for only 2 business days but some how put 41 hours worth of labor into my car. i had gotten into another hit and run on 9/20/17 where my side airbags didn't deploy. i took it back to amm collision where geico tried to total out my vehicle, falsify paperwork by taking off componants(transmission), undervalue then retain my vehicle. when i dropped my vehicle off back with amm collision i had taken pictures of patches of rust on structure componants and broken tack welds. still today i have broken welds in my car. but the major concern was geico and amm collision trying to hide the fact that they didn't do the repairs to my frame for a whole year. and when i requested the photos of the repairs and measurements from the body alignment machine from the shop, i had the police called on me and i have a felony criminal trespassing warning at amm collision for asking for paperwork that they cannot provide.

Takata inflatorsi receive emails that my 2008 honda accord may be affected however when i go on line to check the only recall that appears is nose mask. i do not have one. initially i was informed by ntsb verbally that they were recalling vehicles in very humid states, well now we all appear to be suffering that climate. should i be concerned??

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 honda accord. while driving approximately 20 mph, the contact swerved to the right to avoid a vehicle entering her lane. as a result, the contact struck a curb and the front passenger curtain and seat air bags deployed. there were no injuries due to the deployment. the vehicle was taken to capitol city honda (2370 carriage loop sw, olympia, wa 98502, (360) 754-3399), but was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 176,000.

The takata airbags don't work well and also the brake doesn't work well sometimes

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 honda accord. while the vehicle was parked, the side curtain and front passenger air bags deployed without warning or impact. there were no injuries. the vehicle was taken to rockingham honda (402 s broadway, salem, nh 03079) where it was diagnosed that the failure occurred due to the defect described in nhtsa campaign number: 16v056000 (air bags). the vin was included in the recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that they would repair the vehicle. the contact was informed that the vehicle may not have been properly serviced under the recall. the approximate failure mileage was 140,000. the vin was not available.

Takata recall: i received a "srs ecu failure" recall notice and contacted a honda dealership for support. they told me to disregard the recall. i went to a second dealership and they replaced one part but had to "order" another. that second part still has not been replaced and it has been over a year now. i have not received a service update or appointment. is my car safe?

Takata recall. 2008 honda accord driver-side takata airbag aggressively deployed upon impact from another vehicle in accident, causing sever injury to driver of honda vehicle. this occurred on a main highway. there has been no recall of the 2008 driver-side airbag. my vehicle was a total loss.

My daughters car was parked and running when her friend closed the drivers door and the side curtain airbags deployed. i contacted a local honda dealer and they told me there was no recall on the side curtain system but there was for the front passenger airbag(takata). recall #16v-056

I had to crashes and noone of the two accidents the air bags came out the supension dont know what itsactaly happen its really damage.and also the brakes of the car

Takata recall - honda mailed a notice of an important safety recall to have the passenger airbag inflator replaced. the letter states that it takes approximately 45 minutes to have this repair performed; however, my nearest honda dealer stated this repair would take 5-6 hours. owners are then forced to find means to perform their daily commute without their vehicle, which should not be the owner's responsibility to finance.

Takata recall - honda sent a notice indicating that the passanger airbag recall repair would take approximately 45 minutes to complete. local dealerships are stating the repair takes 5-6 hours. honda is not offering owners any alternative transporation (i.e. rental vehicles). bbb has several complaints filed by frustrated customers to this end. honda needs to incur all reasonable expenses to make these vehicles safe for consumers.

I bought a used honda accord lx sedan with 55000 miles afterwards i searched for recalls and i had 3 2 for air bags 1 for nose mask but nose mask didn't come on car. i called my local honda dealer for an appointment april 24 2017 i came in at 815am they said they completed the 2 air bag recalls at 1pm my problem is the next day i looked up my vin to search to see if my recalls were gone and every website i typed my vin in still says my recalls are due? i recheck today april 26th and it still says i have open recalls why hasn't it updated if on the website it says it's updated but honda dealer repaired it 2 days ago ?

Son driving at speed of 30-35 mph and driver's side curtain airbags spontaneously deployed. road was smooth, no potholes or debris. towed car to honda dealership who informed me that this was not covered under any recalls or manufacturer's warranties even though service tech found no evidence of damage that would have caused the deployment.. cost to repair $8500. chose to trade car in and purchase another vehicle (not a honda).

Engine is burning oil, american honda states i am not in tsb #11-033, but they just told me my passenger air bag is involved in the takata recall, transmission 1-2 shift doesn't feel right

My side airbags deployed when i hit a very deep pot hole. i took it to the dealer but they said they cannot help because it's not on a recall but there apparently is a problem because the airbags deployed. the airbags are now hanging in my car. if i get into an accident these will obviously not work. please advise what can i do to get these fixed as it clearly is a malfunction issue.
