We have classified the 327 complaints from 2003 Honda Accord about POWER TRAIN into the following categories.
While traveling over a bridge at 55mph. the transmission suddenly disengaged and the car almost came to a stop with no warning. very lucky no one hit me. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2003 honda accord. the contact stated that while driving at low speeds, the vehicle hesitated and jerked without warning. the failure recurred on numerous occasions. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 85,000. the vin was not available.
Complete transmission failure on fully serviced 2004 honda accord at 124k miles while driving in rush hour traffic. upon research, found very common problem that honda is aware of but does nothing to fix. rebuilt honda transmission cost $4,800 for part alone! *tr
While driving on a rain slickened road monday september 2nd, the transmission locked up at 45 mph and nearly caused me to lose control of the vehicle. subsequently the transmission completely failed and the vehicle had to be towed to a repair shop. the transmission repair shop confirmed that the 3rd (third) gear had failed and caused the transmission lockup. the vehicle has 76,000 miles on the odometer and i am the original owner and purchased the vehicle from a honda dealership in dallas, texas. i contacted american honda customer motor customer service to report the incident and after describing the event was told to take the vehicle to the dealership for evaluation. clearly this is a defective product and a hazard to safety when the transmission fails. the telephone representative that i spoke to said honda had no information on transmission ?lockups? or unsafe conditions regarding this particular vehicle. i told her that after the transmission lockup happened i researched this condition and found that honda has in fact extended the drivetrain warranty on this model vehicle as the result of a class action lawsuit. at that point she ended the conversation by hanging up the phone and not attempting to call me back after she has requested a callback number at the beginning of the call. this transmission design is faulty and should be recalled due to safety considerations. if i had lost control of the vehicle and was killed, no one would have known that the faulty transmission was the causal factor the accident. *tr
2003 accord coupe 4 cylinder: when driving 35 miles per hour and came to a stop sign, car revved up but would not advance. towed to mechanic, says transmission failure, gears are bad/ slipping. *tr
Was at a stop sign went to drive and heard a loud screech car would not go forward went to put it into park car screeched car rolls back even when in park...transmission. *js
Transmission was downshifting hard. talked to an independent shop that told me honda's have transmission issues, which the internet confirmed, but the dealer or honda usa wouldn't. i opened a case with honda usa. on a side note, i had transmission serviced at 26,000. so i took it to dealer who only serviced the car & all services were up to date. on 8/20/2013 they filled & drained transmission 3 times (mileage 51,507). they said all was fine. on 9/11/2013 transmission won't shift out of park, used emergency procedure out of owners manual to get it out of park (mileage 51,811). dealer says it's the ecu (part#37820rad415) $1000 to repair, i'm still not sure this is the issue, it could be the transmission. honda usa says "we don't care" due to the age & mileage. seriously? an 03 with 51,500?! always garaged & serviced at the dealer? as of this writing the car is at the dealer, i'm deciding if they should do the repair. *tr
My sister-in-law was driving the car on the highway at 60mph when it started to violently decelerate, as though somebody had jammed on the brakes. this happened approximately 6 times within about 4.5 miles. she got off the highway and managed to drive the car to the dealership. when they tested it the next day the transmission destroyed itself and they barely managed to get back to the dealership. if it had failed the day before my sister-in-law could have been killed. *tr
While traveling at about 60 mph on the highway the vehicle stalled out, and due to light traffic the driver was able to pull over safely. the transmission would no longer take, when placed in any gear. the vehicle was towed home. *tr
While driving my 2003 honda accord v6 coupe, at around 55 mph, the vehicle suddenly dropped to about 20 mph. the rpm's jumped to 7000. the check engine light and "maintenance" lights came on. after nearly being rear-ended by the vehicle behind me ( rush hour traffic), i pulled over and turned the car off. after waiting several minutes, i turned it back on and drove home, never going above 20 mph. when i finally got the car towed to landmark honda (alexandria, va) i was told that i would need a remanufactured transmission at the cost of $5085, parts and labor. granted, the vehicle is 10 years old with 90k miles, i was a little dishearten. i was able to find a transmission specialist in the area where they are rebuilding the transmission for $2800. i am extremely disappointed in honda and especially with their reputation for dependability. i strongly feel that honda is aware of this problem and needs to rectify the issue and compensate all honda owners who have had this similar issue. *tr
Transmission will not or struggles to move in or out of second gear. *tr
Car felt like fuel wasn't getting to engine and would slow down, then suddenly get gas and would jet forward. very unsafe for driving with my child and baby. had the transmission replaced with a used transmission and now the same thing is happening today. i'm lucky not to have been on a highway when this happened as it could have spelled death for my family. *js
Tl* the contact owns a 2003 honda accord. the contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the vehicle downshifted and independently decelerated to 10 mph. the contact stated that the speed began fluctuate independently. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection but was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 63,498.
2003 honda accord 2 dr coupe, v6 with 5sp auto-58k mileage-transmission locking, vehicle without any warning shut itself off, coasted, drifted no power, all electrical power shutdown while driving 0-30 mph, three lane road creating dangerous potential for driver without any capacity to engage hazard lights, temperatures 105+ degrees. vehicle nearly rear ended as it occurred in middle of road. vehicle towed to dealer. sensor installed at $322 cost to owner. no goodwill. less than one week once again transmission locking without any warning shut itself off, electrical power remained intact, driver immediately put on hazard lights, yellow light came one for service, tow arrived 60 minutes later three lane hwy hot weather conditions. impeccable service records, all from honda dealer, owner diligent with every required maintenance and extended warranty. honda dealer mechanic diagnosed needs new transmission assembly approximately $6,267 w/ 3 year warranty and honda manufacturer offered less than 6 1/2% toward replacement, owner responsible for remainder (dealer volunteered credit of 23%) dealer provided free loaner car for one week at their cost as honda did not cover the loaner. decision pending after honda is contacted directly to remedy this dangerous, recalled defect noted to millions of others in transmission recall. had great potential for owner to sustain injury or fatality, two locking incidents, one with all power failure too. *tr
While driving on a busy ca freeway going 70mph in the fast lane, suddenly the car started (i thought) braking very violently. i crossed the lanes to get to the shoulder all the while it was still braking violently. narrowly missed being rear ended several times. we had it towed to our honda mechanic and it turns out the transmission was slipping from 4th to 2nd gear. i have subsequently read numerous stories exactly like mine. looks like honda knows of the problem and is waiting for someone to be killed or seriously injured before they do anything about it. yes, the car is 10 years old but this is a serious safety issue and they need to acknowledge and try to help their loyal customers before they are killed or injured. *tr
I was driving at about 60mph when my car violently shifted down to second gear. *tr
Car started burning oil at 100,000 miles. tail pipe is full of black soot. i have to put 2 quarts of oil in the car every 700 miles. car has been regularly maintained. on june 28, 2013, at 148,000 miles, the gears started slipping as i was driving. the drive light in the dash started blinking. car would not shift gears properly. reverse would not work. mechanic stated transmission needs to be rebuilt - costing $2,800. i thought honda's were supposed to last longer than this. i've already complained to honda about the car burning oil but they said that is normal. what other options are there? does anyone want to get a class action lawsuit together? i've read about many instances where the motor burns oil and the transmission fails, even way earlier than mine has. it's too bad it would take a fatality for honda to respond. *tr
The automatic transmission on this car is horrible. my daughter was driving this car on the highway and the transmission suddenly quit on her. fortunately she was not rear ended. hackettstown honda quoted me $4500 to replace the transmission even though there was a recall notice about relating to this (#04-037 dated april 2005) and the car has been in for a variety of other recalls. i also own a 2003 4 cylinder and have not had any problems. *tr
While driving on the highway in rush hour traffic the transmission started to have issues while shifting down into first, a small knock. when i was able to get up to normal highway speeds as traffic opened up the car violently slammed into first gear causing my tires to lock up and sent me veering to the right. luckily i was in the right lane and the car behind me was at a safe distance or i would have been toast. afterwards i was able to limp home in first gear as no other gear is working including reverse. looks like its off to the dealer to buy a new transmission. i don't understand how there can be hundreds of complaints of catastrophic transmission failure at highway speeds and there is no concern of safety from either honda or the nhtsa, but they are quick to tell you to replace the ignition interlock because it's unsafe! please do something about this before someone gets seriously hurt! *tr
automatic transmission disengages from drive line. ( it felt like the transmission had been placed in neutral). it doesn't do it when cold. if engine is turned off and started after 5 minutes car will move. transmission specialist quoted $2000-$2500 to rebuild trans.he said the trans filter was not accessible from outside the transmission and the clutch pack disintegrates and clogs the filter rendering the transmission unreliable. transmission fluid had been replaced as per honda recommendation, now it smells burned and is brown instead of red. honda quoted $500 trade in value towards another newer car. honda wants $3000-$4000 to replace with rebuilt unit. research indicates that this is a not uncommon for this model over many years. how many fatal crashes have occurred due to this problem but were attributed to other causes? *tr
While driving at apx. 45mph car violently downshifted into a lower gear, and then went into neutral, i pulled over to the side of road and shut it off. a minute or two later i restarted and it went back into gear. this happened 4 or 5 times over the next 3 miles to get car home. spoke with honda service advisor same day (6/8/13) and she basically told me it is a common issue and i was looking replacing the transmission for apx.4 - 4.5k! over the phone and not having seen the car! called honda customer service (6/10/13) and after 20 minutes on phone with rep he told me to have car towed to dealer, have them look at it and deal with them! fat chance i'll do that, having it towed to an independent transmission shop. we bought the car new from dealer in may, 2003, has apx. 115,000 miles and has been maintained. very disappointed in honda, more so after "googling" the above issue and seeing it is a very common problem with this model! never to be a honda owner again! *tr
I was preparing to exit a parking area when the engine rpms jumped up to 4000+ but the car did not accelerate. the transmission was in d but the car would not move. i allowed the rpms to drop to 600, shifted to n then back to d. repeated that process a 2nd time and the transmission did engage. the next day the local honda dealer checked but could not verify a transmission problem. at 61740 miles the same transmission slipping occurred in traffic. the transmission is now being replaced. we purchased the car in november 2002. this vehicle had an easy life and less than 62000 miles. the 2004 recall for accord v6 automatic transmission 2nd gear did not fix the problem. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2003 honda accord. the contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the vehicle suddenly failed to shift gears. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis where it was stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 128,000. *tr
This happened 3x today, the third time was terrifying & dangerous. i barely got on the shoulder off the highway in time. the tcs light came on & the car violently jerked from low to high gears while in drive, going about 25-30 mph. i shut off the car & restarted it, the tcs light shut off. the car jerked when i tried to get off the line and felt like it slipped into neutral. i parked in a parking lot and while pulling in, the car jerked violently again between accelerating & decelerating for no reason. the final time--i started to get on the highway and the car violently went out of control as it jerked wildly accelerating and decelerating while traffic was in all lanes of travel around me. i barely made it at about 20-25 mph (by the time the car decided to coast into a neutral feeling gear) to the shoulder on the side of the road where i waited for a tow to a honda dealership for diagnosis. *tr
I just got on a highway and the car would not accelerate and change from 2nd to 3rd gear. it happened 3 more times before i got to a honda service. further, there are at least 30 more technical service bulletins on this transmission. clearly honda has had serious manufacturing issues with this transmission and that has caused major reliability and safety issues for honda owners, like me. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2003 honda accord. the contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, the transmission would not shift into third gear. the failure recurred numerous times. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who recommended that the transmission be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 148,000.
I was fortunate but i am concerned we will read about a person and /or family that was killed by oncoming traffic because their car slowed in the fast lane or stopped without warning on a busy california freeway. i was changing lanes doing 65 mph when my car quickly decelerated-i could not get enough power to get into the next lane and cars were coming in all.lanes. finally,i got into the lane-it happened 2 more times b4 i could get off the fwy a short distance away. at the traffic signal, it stopped completely. after 15 minutes, i was able to slowly creep into the gas station& call aaa for a tow.i have a long history with honda &stayed with honda because i felt safe. 1st accord i had for 10 years; prelude i had for 17 and gave to my nephew; so tho this accord is 10 yrs old,i have it serviced regularly-last service was 4/11/13.i am waiting to hear if american honda will accept that the trans is defective and pay the $4500 for the repairs. i rely on my car and must feel safe. i don't feel safe now and if honda is irresponsible in fixing this defective trans, i will have also lost faith in the company. the mileage is way to low for the trans go out. if i drove it more then the trans would have gone out within the extended warranty (for which i paid $1600) time period. extended warranty expired 8/2010 or 75000 miles- my mileage is at 58,559-quite a bit short of 75,000! please don't wait until someone is seriously injured or worse. do you know what it feels like to have cars coming at you at 65+ mph and you can't get out of their way? you can only hope and pray they see that you are barely (if at all) moving and they change lanes. i was lucky. i have always trusted honda (not all dealers but sierra honda in monrovia is great) and i am hoping this situation can be remedied. but, consumers have to be informed of the problems with the transmission in this model/year. *tr
I have a 2003 honda accord ex-v6 that i purchased in 2006 with 13,000 miles. it now has ~70,000 miles. i have had all the honda recommended maintenance performed. today, while traveling about 50 mph, the transmission suddenly downshifted violently almost causing an accident. i pulled off the road and tried driving in d1, d2 and d3. the transmission seems to be stuck in first gear. i finished the drive home (about 1 mile) and found out there was no reverse gear. this seems to be a recurring and potentially dangerous problem from honda. i can not believe this problem has not been recalled. *tr
While highway driving (80mph), total, unexpected transmission failure. speedometer dropped to zero, multiple indicator lights on dash including blinking indicator near the "d" gear indicator and engine light. i was nearly hit as the car decelerated and i quickly tried to merge to the right so i could exit the freeway. after pulling into gas station, i opened the hood which was now smoking with burning oil. the entire undercarriage was covered in oil and it was now leaking from an unknown source. this is the third transmission failure i have experienced in the same 2003 honda accord. i have nearly been hit twice due to transmission failures in this vehicle. does someone have to be killed before this well known transmission failure is address? recalled? consumer refunded for repairs to a faulty vehicle? *tr
Was driving on the highway at approximately 60 mph when the car violently downshifted into 1st gear and slowed to 20 mph. was able to pull off of the highway onto a city street. after this, the car would not accelerate, although the rpms would increase when the gas pedal was pressed. shifted through several different gears and no change. had to have the car towed to a shop where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. the repairs and labor cost $1975. there were absolutely no warning signs that there was a problem with the transmission until it failed on the highway. the car had been to the dealership a month prior and no problems were detected. while under my ownership, the car has been up to date on all regular maintenance and all previous recalls had been addressed. this was a very dangerous situation for me and i believe that honda needs to address this known issue with this model to prevent injuries or fatalities. *tr
When speed gets over 35 mph, the car violently lunges forward. the car does not go in reverse as well. a safety hazard when traveling. *tr
I had just backed out of my driveway and onto the street, put the car in drive (automatic), drove 10 mph down the street. approximately 4 houses away from mine, the car made a horrible noise. i immediately pulled over, put it in park, and shut it off. i had it towed back to my driveway. a mechanic looked at it, listened to it, and turned the front driver's side wheel. the cv shaft was snapped in two. not the joint, the forged steel shaft. i have 57,000 original miles on this car. if this happened on the highway, i would have been in an accident. honda said it is my responsibility to get it fixed. updated 05/15/13*lj *tr updated 05/28/2013 *js
Brought 2003 accord in oct 2010 with approximately 66k miles on it. in december 2010, i had to return it to the dealer because it was shifting very rough, and i would hear a grinding sound while driving to work(approx. 16 miles, round trip). there was a recall on the issue, however, the dealership manager tried to have me pay $285 for shipping costs of the parts. after some haggling for 2 days, he called me back & said they'd pay for it since it was around the holidays (lucky me!). today, the transmission felt as if it literally fell out the car! while pulling out of my parking spot, it felt as if i ran over something huge! i put the car in reverse & it wouldn't move. i put in gear(automatic) and it made a loud whirring sound, then a grinding sound. i immediately put in park & the noise got louder. i turned the car off & it stopped, looked under the car, nothing. i started car again, put in gear, no movement & loud noise started again. i turned car off & had to get family members to assist in pushing it to a parking spot. searched for & found dealer invoice from 2010 repair, and it states "warr. exp. 11sept2013"......halleluah! i'm calling the dealer 7am on monday, letting them know i'm bringing it in, and i'm not paying a dime! *tr
On 4/28/13 i was driving on the highway when my vehicle began to violently jerk and almost caused me to crash into a car in front of me. this has happened to me a few months back and honda checked and replaced the auto trans recall. now today honda tells me the transmission is gone and i will need to replace it at $4,000. i just got this car only 11 months ago and not even put 40,000 miles on it now i need a new transmission? this is outrageous and unacceptable to me. i purchased the car with 115,000 miles on it, now its at 150,000 and i need a new trans?
We driving on 35w -south at around 60 miles an hour and the vehicle turned itself to 1st gear. had to pull over to shoulder and called aaa. was told that solenoid to be replaced. after the replacement, car was ok and again, after few miles, has a similar incident on 494, where the gear shifted back to a lower gear at 60 miles an hour and missed a fully loaded walmart truck by inches! i had to spend 1800$ to get the transmission fixed. *tr
The car suddenly would not accelerate and change into the 3rd gear while driving on a busy road. had the car towed to an authorized mechanic who diagnosed the issue as transmission failure with the 3rd gear. this is the same issue that caused honda to issue a recall for their 2003 v6 accord in 2004. a month prior, on two separate occasions, i was driving between 40mph-45mph when all of a sudden the car would not accelerate and slowed down, while i simultaneously engaged the accelerator. during both incidences the tcs and check engine lights immediately came on. after pulling over and turning the car off and on, the lights did not remain on. this is a very dangerous car with thousands of complaints already noted for the same issue. honda needs to recall this dangerous car. *tr
The transmission is well on its way out slipping only use official honda dw-1 fluid still no help honda needs to fix this problem they have a defective transmission and they know it. *tr
While driving on the freeway at average speed; (65mph), suddenly the car jerked and seemed like it shifted from high gear to way lower gear, i almost got rear ended... very scary situation... pulled over and drove on the street instead. i had this happened a few other times after within the following month... i've had the car checked at the honda dealer and aamco but they can't replicate the issue, honda said i need a new transmission because my car has too many miles!!!! 128,000??? i've checked the service history and the car has been service periodically at honda dealer with at least 4 times transmission oil flush services... i've read way too many complaints about this issue and i can't believe nhtsa is looking the other way when is very possible one of this days someone will get badly hurt or killed, then you will want to act.... i hope this really gets a real good look before a big law suit is imminent... *tr
Vehicle slams into 3rd gear, or slips out of gear, locked up one tie
While traveling on a 4 lane highway, car was acting like a bucking bronco. my wife pulled into the right lane and slowed down the car to baout 35 miles per hour. when she got home, i test drove the car around the block and flet the same problem. i contacted holler honda in winter park, fl to schedule an appointmnet for saturday. i insisted about the service call and asked if i should drive the car or have it towed. they indicated that it should be safe to drive to their shop. i had the same issues on saturday driving the car to holler honda. i received a call about two hours later, informing me that the transmission needed to be replaced. i purchased the honda accord in november 2003 and received a recall for fixing the transmission in 2004. honda was aware of the problem with a faulty transmission but only made a temporary fix. by only performing a temporary fix, this car was a safety hazzard. the transmiision for the honda accord 2003 would go before any transmission should have gone. i am fortunate that mw wife was not on a major highway traveling at 65-70 miles per hour and have the transmission fail causing a major crash. *tr
Informed kolbe honda that my transmission was slipping back on 9/2/2004 and again on 11/9/2010. the service department claims there is nothing wrong with my transmission. i have paperwork stating the dates and complaints about my transmission. the honda dealerships claimed there was nothing wrong with my transmission. at this time, my car was still under warranty. on 3/7/2013. is when i almost died on the freeway when my car just slowed down to a crawl in the middle lane while cars were driving 60-65 miles per hour. i thought my life was over at this time. i was able to get onto the right shoulder and was in shock. i telephoned my husband to come to my rescue, then we crawled the car into honda. after bringing my car back two different times to see why the car was still not running, the second time honda told me that i need a transmission. i purchased a rebuilt transmission for $3051.00, as honda did nothing to help me out. my car has been impeccably maintained. i almost lost my life for honda not paying attention to me complaining about my transmission slipping from 2004. i often have my grandchildren in my car and was thankful that i was the only one in the car this day. i believe that honda totally ignored me and probably a lot more people with the same problem. as of today, i still fear driving my car on the freeways and i stay in the right lane only in the event this happens again. i am a senior citizen and feel that i was taken advantage of. there is no reason why i had to spend $3051.00 to put a transmission that should have been replaced by honda. i would appreciate some information back. i am still using my car as i cannot afford to purchase another car. *tr
Transmission failed. the gears are slipping, and it lags and jerks when it does shift. *js
2003 honda accord. consumer writes in regards to vehicle repairs and seeks reimbursement. *smd the consumer stated within the past year, the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, transmission, heater valve, transmission mounts, power steering pump, dash and steering links were all replaced.
Honda recalled transmission's on 2004, i took my accord 2003 and they just make up my transmission with oil, but knowingly that this transmission will fail, so i really think that in reality there was not fix.... now i have to pay for something that was already set to failure.... *tr
My first and secound gear get hot after driving for a while and car power jerks and thru my drink a couple of time out of my hand. *tr
Nhtsa needs to have honda issue a recall on all 2003 honda accord transmissions based on the number of complaints about the transmission in gears 1-4. when driving my accord you can feel it at 35mph where the gears 1-4 slips or races. my car has 133k miles and is in mint condition and now i have to put in a new transmission at the cost of $3,700.00 for a rebuilt? nhtsa, all reports has shown that when this problem exist its can freeze the transmission and cause severe harm to the driver, passengers and innocent people around. my car frozen on taking off from a light and there was almost a car pileup and additional insures. before this happens to other out there please issue honda a recall of these 2003 honda accord. *tr
While driving on the freeway between 60-70 mph the car began to violently jerk while slowing down and speeding up on its on. i had no control of the vehicle and this was very scary because there were cars all around me and i just knew i was about the cause a bad accident. i got off the freeway and attempted to park my car. i pulled into a driveway put the car in reverse, but the car was stuck and would not move for a few minutes. i took my car to firestone where i usually have my vehicle serviced and they told me it was the transmission and i was sent to a transmission repair shop. they checked the transmission and found that it needed to be rebuilt which would cost b/t $3200-$$3800 depending on what type of warranty i wanted. they also thought it was very odd that the check engine light did not come on considering the severity of the problem. they recommended that i not drive this car because its a huge safety risk. *tr
Transmission problems have happened ever since purchasing the car. at 144000 miles the transmission was replaced. at time of purchase, fluid was changed, january came, and once again needed another fluid change. i changed the fluid after purchase out of fear and transmission went from hard shifts to normal, even shifts. problems raised again in january, i have two cases of honda transmission fluid at hand right now. now, it's maybe two weeks before it shifts hard again. i deal with it knowing the cost to fix the transmission, but yesterday was the point where it starts to affect my safety. going 30-45, shifting from second to third, there is delay in shifting when at 3000 rpm, at 4000 rpm or higher shifting is very violent from second to third as of yesterday, april 23, 2014. also at 55 mph on my way home, the car jolted during shifting while accelerating causing me to almost lose control. if this happened just three seconds before as i was turning a corner on this road it could have caused me to crash. transmission feels distant at times, as if power is not being properly applied to the wheels during slow medium and hard acceleration from first to second gear. the transmission deteriorates with time and mileage. car is 100% different than when we acquired it. complaint after complaint and not one thing being done by honda nor nhtsa. the oil jet kit was a cheap and limited fix to this problem and only delayed transmission failure. why is there no recall for this? several people are on the highway when these transmissions fail and are lucky to avoid accidents and death. does it have to take someone traveling 70 mph with violent down shifting, being rear ended and killed for this to reach headlines for someone to acknowledge the danger? it's a real problem that affects safety, people's lives including my own. *tr
Transmission slipped when shifting from third to fourth when accelerating to get on the freeway. luckily no one was injured but the car behind me almost rear ended me when i lost all power. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2003 honda accord. the contact stated that the transmission independently shifted out of gear and into second gear. the contact mentioned that the failure was recurring. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer for a diagnostic. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 150,000 and the current mileage was 200,000.
