Tl* the contact owns a 2016 gmc sierra 1500. while depressing the brake pedal, the pedal traveled to the floorboard and the vehicle was unable to stop. the contact mentioned that the emergency brake had to be applied to stop the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to ferguson buick gmc (1015 n interstate dr, norman, ok 73069, 405-561-4775) to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the master cylinder, abs pump, and sensor for the vacuum pump needed to be repaired. the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred a week later. the vehicle was taken to ferguson buick gmc (1015 n interstate dr, norman, ok 73069, 405-561-4775) where it was diagnosed that the vacuum pump and abs pump needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 1,500.
