Tl* the contact owns a 2015 gmc sierra 1500. the contact stated that the air conditioner was not functioning properly. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the vehicle was taken to sunrise buick gmc covington pike (located at 1800 covington pike, memphis, tn 38128, (901) 201-6267) where it was diagnosed that the condenser needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 85,000.

Purchased truck new 37 months ago, has 938 hours on the engine and 47500 mostly highway miles. no accidents. according to the dealer there is a small leak in the radiator, top right side(from the driver's seat), cost to repair $1200.

I only have 57,000 miles on my truck, which is why i am reporting this. the truck turns off completely. i have been going to make a right/left turn and the truck shuts down completely. i have no power steering and limited brakes. this has happened to me twice now. i am lucky enough that i am strong enough to turn the truck without power steering otherwise i would have hit vehicles both times this happened. there has to be some type of electrical flaw that is making this happen. i want to get this resolved before my insurance company has to get involved because i am in a car accident. if this is something the manufacturer takes care of that would be great, otherwise i would just like to know if someone else has had this issue and has found the resolution.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 gmc sierra 1500. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle lost power and turned off. also, "lower driver window" appeared on the instrument panel. the contact was able to restart the vehicle and continue driving. the failure occurred seven additional times. the vehicle was taken to smail buick gmc cadillac (located at 5116 us-30, greensburg, pa 15601, (724) 798-0320) to be diagnosed, but they were unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified. the failure mileage was 53,000.

Air conditioning system failure. vehicle was taken to the dealership for other recall related service. i further requested they check the hvac, as it stopped working approximately 3 weeks ago. i had it recharged once, and the charge failed to hold. the gmc dealership in mobile, al explained they have received a large number of complaints about failures occurring to the ac system. he explained it centers around failure of a weld in the coils. he stated the repair costs approximately $1,300.00 at the dealership...he was discounting the cost to $950.00 to compete with the local vehicle ac shop which charges approx $800.00 for the same service. he advised he was not aware of a recall for the problem and further advised he was surprised gm hadn't recalled, as it's a known problem with the system. i am filing a formal complaint in hopes others have done the same, as gm should be responsible for correcting this failure.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 gmc sierra. while driving low speeds, the vehicle violently vibrated and made an abnormal noise. also, the stabilitrak and check engine indicators illuminated. the contact mentioned that the check engine indicator periodically illuminated and flashed. also, while driving, extra force was needed to depress the brake pedal and stop the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to boulevard buick gmc (2800 cherry ave, signal hill, ca 90755, (562) 492-1000) where the contact was informed that the vehicle misfired and the entire engine needed to be diagnosed. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 59,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 gmc sierra 1500. while driving and turning into a shopping center, the entire vehicle shut off, including the engine, electrical system, and instrument panel. the steering wheel also seized along with the windows. when the contact stopped and restarted the vehicle, the control panel and odometer display delayed to show the correct reading and the clock had to be reset. the display instructed the contact to roll the window down and back up. the contact had to wait several minutes to get power to restart the vehicle. the failure had occurred three times every three months. the contact was able to restart the vehicle and drive home. the vehicle was taken to regal gmc (2615 lakeland hills blvd, bldg 3, lakeland, fl 33805, (863) 262-4222) for a recall repair. the dealer was unable to locate any failure codes. the contact was informed to schedule another appointment. the manufacturer assigned a case number to the contact and stated that an urgent senior representative would call the contact back. the failure mileage was 25,000. the vin was unknown.

This complaint is regarding excessive surface rust on not only the frame of my truck, but on critical engine component clamps in the engine bay. any screw style hose clamp in my engine bay are rusted worse than my other 9 year old car with 102,000 miles on it. i wash my truck, including undercarriage, periodically throughout the winter to try and keep the salt off. my truck is a 2015 with 40,000 miles, and just recently, the rust had completely eaten through the lower radiator hose clamp causing all the engine coolant to leak out. i noticed the rest of the clamps within the engine bay to be in the same condition, along with the frame, and suspension components. it is clearly only a matter of time before they fail while i am driving, which could cause a failure of any system using one of these rusted clamps, such as the brake lines, power steering lines, oil lines, or transmission fluid lines.

When making slight left turns, the truck would flash stabilitrak on the display and the steering wheel would automatically pull out of my hands and make the wheels straighten up. the radio would then go dead and then 5 to 10 seconds later the entire truck would turn off. this happened while driving down the road. this happened on 2 separate occasions with no other warnings. i contacted gmc and they have not given me any type of answer or assistance.

When i first got the truck the brakes operated perfectly fine after about three days the brakes on the front of the truck would lock up while i was driving and would not release. after two sets of calipers two sets of brake pads a set of rotors a two weeks go by with the mechanic trying to figure out what is wrong with this truck. they then replace the brake master cylinder, there was no improvement. turns out to be the brake booster had failed along with the hydraulic abs control unit. there were no warning lights on whatsoever the whole entire time the brakes were locked up the abs light didn't come on until the brake booster was replaced indicating that the abs control unit was also bad. now i am experiencing a ticking coming from the engine. the ticking occurs at idle end as the throttle is being activated. however the local dealership has refused to give me any information as of why it could be making this ticking noise or is just unwilling to say anything .

Hvac - no ac cold air.

My ac conditions developed a pin hole leak along the seam/braze.

Ac blowing warm air - may have a condition where thermal cycling on the combination transmission fluid/oil and ac condenser cooler creates a crack that may allow refrigerant to escape. this condition consequently may deactivate the ac system.

While at low speed and at stops while turning the wheel the entire dash and engine cut off and come back on. the steering also locks up to a point of not turning either way. all incidents happened on a very smooth flat road. this put my life in danger on one occasion while turning on a highway where my entire truck shut off mid turn.i have video of this occurring on my phone if you would like to reach out to me for that. i believe this to be a stabiltrac issue, one of gmc's traction control branding things. i have seen this issue all over google while searching it and it needs to be recalled! i would like to know if this will happen.

Steering electrical assist fightback, driving, turning resulting in no steering-deadly! this can happen at any time while driving. very dangerous! engine must be shut off and restarted before you can get out of street. then message reads "lower driver window then raise" before proceeding.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 gmc sierra 1500. while driving 5 mph, the steering wheel became extremely difficult to turn. the engine also lost power without warning and the rearview camera display failed to function. the failure recurred two other times. the vehicle was taken to phil moore buick gmc (5728 i-55 north, jackson, ms 39211), but the failure could not be replicated. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 36,000.

Takata recall. i recently called the dealership where they confirmed multiple calls on the ac condenser leaking freon. we have two 2015 gmc sierras with the same leak. a service center employee/mechanic at bob brockland in columbia il verified multiple complaints.

Air conditioning condenser failed. does not allow defrost to operate.

Problem presented as engine dying at stop signs and progressed to engine miss with random engine stop. was sent to shop 3 times over a eight week period with no resolution to problem.

I bought this truck new in 4/2106 and there is a clicking sound when engine is running. is this normal?

2015 gmc sierra has a delay throttle response. does it at all speeds and from take off. took to dealer and service advisor pulled truck in shop. got out and said it does have a delay. the ran vin number through gmc data base and told me. manufacture said it was a normal thing. it's not normal and never had a vehicle with a throttle delay.

Made 1 trip out of state to visit my son and to carry him a bedroom suite. i live in ga. and he lives in tenn. when i returned i noticed fluid under the truck. called dealer in brunswick ga. they said to bring the truck then. when truck was put on rack, found engine heads were faulty. had to order new heads, then had to machine heads when arrived. also transmission down shifted extremely hard in hills of north ga. to the point of engine rpm 4500. contacted gmc complaint dept. but as of 6/2/15 no help.
