Takata inflators: why is it taking so long to fix a problem that may result in injury or death. until this problem is fixed it is my belief that there should be no production of any new vehicles. if air bags are still being installed, as per government regulations and safety standards, the automobile industry engineers should be able to come up with a retrofit. the government should force the issue. my vehicle is still on recall.
