Takata recall. this vehicle was recalled in may 2015. we are now a week away from 2017, and i have not been able to have the car repaired despite repeated calls to my dealership. the nhtsa has identified this defect as being very dangerous, and i would rather not die due to a supply chain issue.

Takata recall...i received an official notice of a recall from ford dated 5/27/15 concerning the recall and the need to repair the driver side airbag on my 2013 ford mustang. i called my local ford dealership to set up the appointment to correct the airbag defect on my car as described in the recall noticed i received in the mail approximately 1 week from the date on the recall notice. i was informed that there were no parts available to fix my car and that i must wait for the part to arrive. i've have since called my local dealership several times since then to inquire about the status of the part needed to repair the airbag defect on my car only to be told each time that no part is available to fix my car. since i have no other source of transportation, i'm forced to drive this potentially unsafe car with a defect in the drivers side airbag that if an accident should occur and this airbag is deployed, i, the occupants of my car, and/or both may be killed by flying metal shrapnel from the faulty driver side airbag inflator! after waiting the first 6-8 months, i reached out to ford customer service management to see if they would buy back my faulty and dangerous vehicle since no parts were available to fix my car's faulty airbag. of course they declined. it is now 10/9/16 as of the writing of this complaint and still no repairs have been made to my car and no attempt to inform me of the status of the parts necessary for the repair of my car have been made by ford. any help your department may afford in resolving this open recall would be greatly appreciated!

I received a recall notice on my mustang's airbags five months ago. ford has now followed up on the original recall notice, nor will they fix the problem when i take it to a dealership. i am very much worried about the safety of my vehicle.
Takata recall - received a recall notice effective may 27, 2015 but have not had the air bag replaced yet.

Takata recall: it has been over a year since i was first notified of the recall. the current status is remedy not available. i consider the wait excessive and potentially dangerous.
Takata recall i'm not sure what would be considered a "timely manner" in regards to something that can harm or potentially kill me. i first tried to get this taken care off at the ford dealership in hawaii, back in early 2015. they told me they were still waiting for the part. i have since been stationed in south carolina so i tried the ford dealership here, about 2 months ago. they gave me the same response. i have not been in an accident but i'm afraid that if i were and my airbag deployed, my wife or myself can be harmed.

Takata recall i live in south florida and have been trying to get my airbags replaced since may of 2015. south florida is the worst area for the airbag to rupture and kill someone.. my dealer and ford motor co. is not helping me at all with this. can you help me with this recall?

Takata recall - notified in spring of 2015, notified again in spring of 2016. still no resolution! car owners effected by this recall are advised to not drive until the issue is fixed as drivers/passengers may suffer critical injuries or loss of life due to the shrapnel from an air bag deployment. this is ridiculous. we're coming upon two years since initial official notification and the problem was known before that. ford has only completed 16% of the repairs/replacements. i contact my dealership every couple of months and still nothing. supposedly the last quarter of this year. well that's here and still nothing. if it even happens before year's end, this is not good enough. my life and my loved one's are endangered on a daily basis due to a faulty component in a system that is supposed to protect and save lives. government needs to step in and speed this up.
Takata recall i have been waiting for almost a year now for repairs to this vehicle. no part available!! my vehicle is sitting in the garage while i make payments. i am sure it is losing value, just sitting!! should i drive it? wasn't someone just killed a week ago with the faulty airbag? why is there not more outcry on this? the recall was such a big deal. fines to the company for the faulty airbags but what did that do for me? they get a fine but i still have a vehicle i can't drive. one year now! others must be driving their vehicles. do you suggest i drive my vehicle? this is ridiculous. i would like to drive my vehicle. i need the part to do that.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford mustang. while accelerating from a stop, the contact proceeded very slowly at approximately 2 mph; however, the preceding vehicle failed to accelerate. the contact was unable to stop and rear ended the other vehicle's bumper at a low speed. the driver's and front passenger air bags deployed. the contact suffered a burn on the right arm that did not require medical attention. the passenger was uninjured. the contact stated that the air bags should not have deployed at such a low speed. the police arrived, but the contact did not recall if a report was filed. the air bag failure was not diagnosed. the vehicle was repaired for the crash damage. the dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. the approximate failure mileage was 45,000.
There is a recall on the tashaki airbags i've been waiting for over 5 years to get an airbag i had a 2005 ford mustang it needed an airbag that car has since been traded off then i bought a 2013 ford mustang and it's the same thing if the airbag but with this 2013 ford mustang the lights keep flickering on and off they fade in and out they'll come on and then they'll go out and come back on
Turned vehicle to the left out of a driveway, pressed on accelerator pedal to shift from 1st to 2nd, back end fishtailed, shifted into neutral to try to decrease the spin of the tires, pumped the brakes, over corrected and hit a parked vehicle at between 15 to 20 miles per hour. only one person in my vehicle and the other car was parked no one in vehicle. drivers airbag didn't deploy from the impact. *tr

I have always had my 2013 ford mustang serviced by licensed ford dealers. it has always had regular maintenance. on two occasions, i brought the recall to the attention of the ford service dept. however ford has never attempted to fix the problem. in fact, ford has never even notified me of the pending recall - even when i have had ford service perform maintenance on the car. ford is ignoring the recall and necessary repairs to the car. this car is not safe to drive!
Takata recall. i am the original owner! four years and no airbag replacement! fored keeps making excuses!
Takata recall - ford has been notified on multiple occasions over the past 3 years about this recall. ford has refused -or is unable to effect the necessary replacement of these airbags. this vehicle is unsafe to drive or sell without working airbags!!!
On february 24, 2013, i was involved in a "fender bender" in my brand new 2013 ford mustang where i was traveling approximately 15 mph. although the collision was minor, and the damage to the front end was minimal, the airbags deployed. the driver's side front and side panel airbags both deployed. the front air bag severely burned me when it exploded out upon impact. i have photographs of the burns that i have suffered as the result of the air bag deployment, as well as the damage to the car. based upon the severity of the burns that i have suffered it is apparent that the airbag is defective. after the collision, i was transported to the emergency room, and while being treated the doctor indicated that my burns were chemically induced, and were not abrasion type burns from contact with the airbag. i am very concerned that others may suffer the same type of injuries. *tr
Takata recall i have not received the recall letters from ford and have contacted them and cannot get the letter that apparently went out in july 2015. i am the original owner of the car purchased in january 2013. they have said this is my problem as i must not have it registered correctly with my states dmv. in contacting the dmv, they have said the car is and has been registered correctly. how can i get ford to send me the letters and make sure the future letters come to me. i have not changed addresses since 1992.
Takata recall. my mustang is a 2013 and since moving from minnesota to florida i am now in a high humidity state and the risk has increased significantly that it may explode. i have contacted my ford dealer many times and they keep saying ford company is not providing air bags in a timely manner. i feel ford should supply a replacement vehicle to me until my mustang can be fixed.
My 2013 mustang has a recall for airbags for over a year and i have contacted the dealership they told me i'm on the list to have it replaced.. my question and complaint is why hasn't it been replaced yet. ever time i drive i am in danger of being injured. since your company is reliable for correcting the problem you should do so in a timely manner before something happens. i would like a response from you if atleast letting me know when your going to send my airbag replacement to my dealership. my car was purchased at rountree in shreveport la. my name is [xxx] my email is [xxx] my phone number is [xxx]... thank you information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
