No passenger front seat air bag replacement is available for this 2007 ford mustang gt. i am concerned because of the age of the car (11 years ) and that it has continuously been kept in a hot and humid climate -ocean city, md. it meets all 3 criteria for priority replacement. as of 1/15/2018 no replacement is available. i received a letter telling me not to use the front seat for passengers.

Contacted my local ford dealer, airport ford on dec 6, 2017, and was told the replacement parts for the airbag repair is on backorder. instructed to call back in jan 2018. my vehicle is fine and has not been in an accident. but, would like this recall repair done.

Takata recall-i have been waiting since early december 2017 for a fix to the passenger air bag recall. no resolution by takata to date and i was advised not to have anyone in the passenger seat. i need to drive coworkers and friends/family frequently and this is a huge inconvenience. i was warned in the letter from ford that death can result if the air bag is deployed at the passenger seating. please help expedite this recall if possible. thank you!

Ford has not made the repairs to my vehicle to comply with the passenger side airbag recall issued over a year ago, even though i have attempted to schedule the repairs multiple times.

Takata recall--this vehicle was totalled a year ago, and is no longer on the road. we don't need any more reminders that it is being recalled.

It has been over a year waiting for parts from takata. my dealership says that as of today 11/6/2017 parts are not available to complete the repair. the passenger side airbag is the one affected. my dealership says that they do not have a timeframe available to estimate parts availability. i was told to simply wait. and when a letter arrives to bring my car in.

We were notified that the airbag is recalled. when i took the vehicle in to get it repaired, i was informed that there are no airbags to replace it with. this puts my family and i in danger whenever i drive this vehicle.

Recall notices all the time but when you call the dealer all they can tell you is that there are no parts available. my children drive this car. it is very worrisome. what can i do to get a new airbag or take out the dangerous one?

Takata recall,received a recall letter from ford motor company july 2016 saying there is a recall on airbag inflator passenger side 16s26. i have called the dealership several times asking if the part has come in and their answer is the same each time "no part". this has been way over a year since i received notice, as today date is 10/24/2017. i have not driven this car since i have received this notice, afraid something may happen causing an accident or more. i have also tried calling ford motor company and received the same answer ,"no part". does something have to happen before you take the owner complaint? 24

Takada recall - in response to the notice i received from takada on oct, 25, 2017, i contacted power ford in albuquerque, nm, as instructed to schedule repairs to the passenger side airbag. the service manager, brian dunn, was honest in informing me that he had no reasonable expectation that parts were going to be available anytime in the near future for them to make the repairs. what remedy do i have?

Takata recall - when does it become a "if the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner" issue? i have a car that has a safe driver's side airbag, but a dangerous passenger side air bag. aren't my passengers worthy to be safe also? why is it taking soooo long to ensure the passenger air bag won't injure or kill my passengers? nhtsa database on my vin states the recall is there... but can't be fixed???? why ??? they were able to fix the driver's side.

We have been trying for over a year to get these airbags replaced per your recall. we get constant reminders and every time we take the vehicle in they say they do not have the parts. we are frustrated because this recall is meaningless as the dealers cannot commit to a time frame of when the parts will come in. on the passenger airbag recall the dealers are saying ford will not give any information on expected part availability.

Called several times to have recall of airbags repaired and was told to just come in without appointment. when i arrived, they could only replace the driver airbag and reprogram module. the passenger air bag part is back ordered per ford technicians and they do not know when they will have it. apparently at least a 6 month wait. i have a toddler and a newborn and it concerns me that despite my efforts to have recall addressed, we still have not been able to be assisted on this completely. concerned parent.

Nhtsa recall 16v384 was issued a year ago for the passenger air bag inflator on my car. i phoned the ford dealer today 6/26/2017 and was told that parts are still not available for the repair. if ford can obtain millions of air bags for the new cars they have designed, manufactured, and sold since this recall was issued, it is unacceptable and inexcusable that they cannot obtain parts for this recall repair in a timely manner.

I have called kendall ford in eugene two times over the past year to get an appointment to get my airbags replaced. i have received no response to this issue. what can i do?

Ford dealerships are refusing to works on my 3 recalls. i have tried 3 times over the past 3 years and keep getting the same excuse. "we dont have the parts, and dont know when we will get them." ford of orange (california). they refuse to take my name down or contact me when they do have the parts. they aren't the only dealership in the area either. please follow-up to make sure that they are not turning down customers for the sake of saving money.

Takata recall. the recall was issued in july of 2016. after several month the drivers air bas was replaced. we have called ford twice about the passenger air bag replacement. all they say is that the parts are not available and that they will call when the become available. there has not been an accident yet.

I have a recall on my 2007 ford mustang shelby gt, for airbags. ford does not have a solution for the recall. i think it is a very dangerous situation driving around with recall airbags putting the driver and passengers in a very compromised situation. they are aware of the danger because they themselves would not except a trade-in my vehicle (2007 ford mustang shelby gt ) because ford does not except vehicle with open recalls. even if it's their own product.

Takata recall - sold the vehicle by basil auto group with them knowing the car had the active recall and they did not disclose it. i have a letter from the dealer owner dated april 1, 2017 stating all this and saying he is sorry for that is not their policy. now i have a car that is under valued as a trade, for sale privately or in any other transaction. would like for dealer to buy back vehicle.
