Takata recall--i received a recall notice for the passenger side airbag in june of 2016. my complaint is with ford's lack of response: a year and a half later they still have not provided repairs for this recall. a letter mailed in december 2017 said the remedy parts are still delayed. this is an unacceptable response.

Ford issued a passenger airbag recall in july 2016 almost one year later they still do not have appropriate parts to correct the recall - some effort by the government on behalf of consumers needs to take place to encourage ford to solve the supply problem now.

Takata recall- my son has received an initial replacement on the driver's side air bag. there was a fix before the part was available for the driver's side. however, the passenger side airbag remains a risk to any passenger that rides with him. there is currently no fix available. the recall began in june 2016 for the passenger side airbag. i do not want any of his siblings or friends riding in this vehicle until it is safe.

We have been waiting a year to get this problem corrected. i hate sending my child out in this car but, can't afford to go buy a new car. i don't understand why it has taken over a year to get parts to fix a problem that could cause death!

Takata recall my car has a problem with the airbags and would like to get it fixed asap.

Takata inflators i received a letter advising my mustang was recalled due to airbags i just spoke with university ford in chapel hill nc and was advised that they were replacing recalled airbag with same airbag as a temperary fix to send the removed airbag to ford for study. they would get in touch with me when a permanent fix was available. it does not make sense to replace with a temporary fix. my other vehicle a toyota, airbag was replaced by dealer with none of this run around if there is a recall then i deserve to have a permanent fix not a temporary one. while ford is dragging their feet my son who drives this car is in danger of losing his life. i kean this is either a recall or a stall and sounds like ford is stalling at the cost of the lives of people driving their cars. why would i replace an airbag with one of the same type when the replacement might be defective and the one they took out for study might turn out to be fine. ford needs to step up as the other manufacturers have. toyota did not do a temporary fix, they fixed the problem
