Recently reported AIR BAGS problems on 2013 Ford Fusion

Takata recall. i had a rear end accident with front end damage also. the airbags did not deploy at more then 40 plus mile inpack what happen? car was stationary waiting to make a left hand turn on a highway. help!

Airbag light came on. asked dealer to check. they said it looked like a wire had been cut. so they said wouldn't fall under warranty. this makes no sense. it should be covered. i have only had my car to ford dealerships for regular maintenance under their plan since purchased new. airbags have never deployed. i have no idea where these wires are even located. so is this faulty from day one or done while other work regular maintenance or recall work done? why do i need to pay for almost $500 for repair? should be warranty work.

Have yet to receive a notice of the takata airbag recall and now my light is flashing on while driving. i've had 2 diagnostics done on my car before i fixed the issue and after i replaced the abs sensor on my left front wheel and i'm still getting the same codes for my abs, service traction control and hill assist lights. i have had my brakes replaced thinking that was an issue because my pedal is depressing to the floor while in motion and feels like it won't stop when turning to park. what else am i to do?

When in park or driving my door opens up. my door will not lock and it's not safe driving my vehicle . and it's airbag singal on the dashboard .

The drivers seatbelt light and warning to not work and it has tripped the airbag light. you have recalled some ford fusions for this exact problem. yet i am having that exact problem and your saying it wasn't my vin. not quite getting why

Air bag light has came on and would not go off the car hasn't been in a accident or anything. the airbag light came on when i was driving on the highway.

Brakes are sliding, the panel lights turning on the transmission locking

While driving home on a city street the airbag indicator came on and has been on ever since.

Tamara recall check engine light remains on and car shutters sporadically.

Takata recall

Takata recall but not sure. started my car drove through a parking lot at low speed. when pulling onto the highway my front air bag light went on. pulled off the road turned off my car. looked at owners manual. started car, moved my drivers seat back and drove home leaning my body to the right passenger side. light stayed on all the way. i called my regular mechanic about this problem and he informed me that they could not touch the car due to the recall and to call the dealer. called ford when i got to my home. they informed me that there systems were down and not to drive car. it was extremely unnerving to get home.

Tl* the contact owned a 2013 ford fusion. while driving approximately 40 mph, another vehicle driving in the opposite direction failed to yield and crashed into the front driver's side of the contact's vehicle. the contact's driver's side air bag did not deploy, but the front passenger side air bag deployed. there was no warning indicator illuminated. the contact sustained injuries that required medical attention. a police report was filed. the dealer was not called and the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the contact's vehicle was towed by the insurance company and deemed a total loss. the failure mileage was 101,711.

Airbag warning light on

Takata recall - if they can still manufacture vehicles and install airbags, they should be able to put their energies into fixing an outstanding recall five years old.

I was crossing an intersection when another vehicle hit me on the front drivers side and my air bags did not deploy when collision happened

My car has 7 recalls doors bags seatbelts door locks not a safe car for me and family.the door would not close or close so i had to use the seat belt to hold close.door

My airbag sine is on sine like one year

My 74yr old mom hit a 1 foot tall concrete barrier (picture attached) at a county rural recycling center resulting in all 4 airbags to deploy. barrier isn't painted, no fence, no railing or pole to mark it. minor damage (photo attached) to the auto, bosch recorder shows <15 mph (file too large to attach). car is in a storage unit in iowa for evidence. mom's prognosis was subdural hematoma, encephalopathy and uncal herniation resulting in her death (see attached). medical examiner determined cause of death was the car accident. in addition to the issue with the airbags, my step-dad (84 years old) was in the passenger side and also was hit by airbags. while the airbags saved him, he was quite bruised/injured. emergency response was not requested. we (my family) believe that considering the age of our parents and the fact my mom was hit in the side of the face - more caution (state law requiring medical attention) should be exerted by all police officers in this situation (police report attached). we take all kinds of precautions with kids on the sports fields, why not the elderly? my mom was obviously suffering from confusion and concussion. tragically, we lost her to a safety feature. uncomprehensible. *bf *tt

The air bag light on the dash came on. i took it into the ford dealership and they claimed that the wiring harness under the seat was crushed , supposedly by an empty jelly jar that was under neath the seat on the drivers side. i have the jelly jar and its not even broken . ford claims its my fault and to get in touch withmy insurance company which i have but since the light (airbag ) light has come on, my seat doesn't work does not move back or forward and the light that tells if if the seat belt is fastened doesn't work. i haven't heard back from my insurance company but im wondering if more fusion owners than just me have had this problem with the wiring harness and if the problem is due to the location of the wiring harness rather than the jelly jar which is unbroken. i am a 72 year old woman and although im slightly overweight , i cannot imagine how my weight and the jelly jar could disable the whole case. it doesn't look crushed but i'm taking it to my mechanic tomorrow and having him take the seat out and look at the wiring harness. the vehicle was stationary when the light came on about a week ago.

I had taken my vehicle to the dealer 4 times for repair due to the air bag light coming on while driving. each time they told me it was fixed and then would come back on within a few weeks. they also told me its only a light malfunction and the airbag would deploy so don't worry too much. then i saw nhtsa campaign number: 14v597000 and saw that it may not deploy and was very frustrated. i took it in for this repair in march 2015, and after being in the shop for over 3 weeks with this issue they told me that it should be a permanent fix. well it was not, after a few months it would come back on every once in a while, but turn off the next time you started the car. around december 2015 it began to stay on and i feel like i'm going around in a circle constantly trying to repair a critical safety device.

I was stopped at a red light on a city street and was hit in the rear by a car going very fast. i hit a car in front of me and my air bag deployed. a few seconds later my air bag burst into flames. i used my water bottle to put out the fire. i was dazed and hurt and if i was unconscious results would have been extreme.
