I have had 2 door latch failures on my vehicle within 7 months of each other. the first one was my driver door, 2nd failure was my rear passenger door. i contacted ford motor corporation, and they advised me these were supposedly already fixed under the recall that the vehicle previous had. the first door latch failed on 07/06/2019, the 2nd failure happened on 1/19/2020. the failure has caused the doors open and not latch close even when the vehicle is in motion. i have had to pay for both of these repairs out of pocket when it is clearly a safety issue. my rear passenger door is rarely used, i do not have children and i do not open that door often. my driver door opened on me when i was going around a corner at 45 mph, and the rear passenger door opened on me as i was parking in a spot going about 3 mph. ford advised me they will look into this - but this causes unexpected financial strains for the repairs, and makes me concerned about the other 2 doors in my vehicle that are not recently repaired.*dt *dl
