Takata recall. steering

Takata recall - we have been waiting for several years for ford to replace the airbag. they just keep saying awaiting nhtsa recall number eventhough #19s01 is listed on this site.

Takata recall has been on a recall list for my vehicle for quite a while. i purchased this vehicle in jan/16 and was aware of this recall. since then, there has not bee a remedy presented and there is also a high risk for this to malfunction. with the temperatures in central texas well above 100 degrees, i am concerned that this has not been addressed and a remedy has not been presented. the field service action number is 15n01 i have also received a letter in the mail of something along the lines that i could file a claim for this. i will investigate that further but i know that takata airbags are filing for bankruptcy. so my concern is that there will never be a remedy available.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford fusion. while at a stop light, another vehicle crashed into the rear of the contact's vehicle. as a result, the contact crashed into the preceding vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy. in addition, the fuel safety cut off switch failed to activate. the air bag warning light illuminated. the contact sustained minor bruises that did not require medical attention. a police report was filed. the vehicle was driven from the crash scene and was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 112,000. the vin was unavailable.

Takata recall - dealership was unable to replace and gave me a year timeline for parts. also need 15v340 parts. with 2 recalls i've been unable to drive the car safely. i have tried to sell the vehicle without success for 6 months. ford has an obligation to fix vehicle or be subject to recover my losses of depreciation during sale.

I was in a single vehicle accident february 23, 2015 where i slid off an icy back road causing significant front end damage which was repaired at milnes ford in lapeer, mi. due to the amount of damage the airbags should have deployed but they never did. i now have a bulged disk in my neck and another in my lumbar spine. a later computer scan for a separate issue indicated the airbags did not deploy as they should have. when the original repairs were done, the dealership did not check and never addressed the failure to deploy. the only towing that was done was to get my vehicle out of a ditch.

While traveling down a city street an animal ran out in front of me. trying to avoid it my car struck a light post. no airbags deployed. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford fusion. while driving approximately 25 mph, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond causing the vehicle to crash into a gate. the air bags failed to deploy. a police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vin was unavailable. the approximate failure mileage was 115,000.

Takata recall. i contacted (2) ford dealerships repeatedly since the recall of the airbag. each time i call the service departments of fiesta ford in indio, ca., or gosch ford in hemet, ca. i am told that they will call me when replacement parts are available. i have been trying to have this airbag replaced since 2014 with no cooperation from the ford dealerships, which at this time the vehicle is not being driven for safety reasons.

Vehicle hydroplaned on snowy i-71 and went off the road vehicle was totaled including front end collision to tree but air bag did not deploy. *tr

I entered the cvs parking lot and made a right turn and proceeded to enter the open parking space . i stepped on the brake to shift to the park position when all of a sudden the car jolted forward accelerating in a forceful manner( like it had a mind of its own). i keep pressing down on the brake but the car would not stop and keep going straight and hit the fence on front of the parking space causing the car to bounce back. despite my afford to stop the car with the brake it did not work. the air bag deployed and smoke and a burning smell started to come out of the car, i got out of the car immediately . i was lucky that i was not on the road and hit another car or a person.i know the my car has a problem. *tr

I am driving a potentially deadly automobile. i do not care if tekata does not have enough airbag replacements. then ford should give me a safe car until they get replacement bags. do their new cars have safe airbags? then stop selling the new cars and fix the already purchased cars! why does our government force me to drive a deadly car while ford still makes profit on new sales?

Vehicle was being driven slowly to parking area when it suddenly accelerated and engine kept revving up and it lunged forward and crashed into a large tree, demolishing the front end. the ford parts performed exactly as they should have, preventing damage to the windshield or cabin area, but airbags did not deploy. the driver was not injured but was shaken up by the accident. upon inspection by the body shop and mechanic, the linkage was broken and damaged and needs further investigation to see if a defect in the linkage was a cause or contributing factor. damage to the front end is substantial and estimated in excess of $8,000 with the seen damage thus far. *tr

Takata recall. in june of 2012 i purchased a 2011 ford fusion. approximately july of 2013 i was notified by ford that my vehicle had a recall on the passenger side airbag. my vehicle was to be fix when parts were available. approximately one year later i called ford to find out why my vehicle was not fixed. i was told because i lived in a cold client (massachusetts) that my vehicle would be one of the last vehicle to be fixed when parts became available. they also told me no one was to sit in the front passenger side because they could be seriously injured if the airbag exploded. my wife who is 75 years old a cancer survivor has sat in the back seat since 2013. because of her age and health problems she can no longer sit in the back seat. i have contact ford several time to tell them of this problem. for relief in 2018 they allowed me a rental car. approximately, 2 months later i was contacted by the rental agency and informed me that ford would no longer pay for the rental vehicle because i signed their form and added (i didn't give up my right to legal actions by signing this form). because i refused to give up my legal right they stopped the rental vehicle. ford case number cas-15314662 was assigned to my case and i have not heard anything since. my wife and myself who are elder both feel this timeframe is ridiculously long and has causes us much discomfort, anxiety and out of pocket expenses when we want to travel together we had to take separate vehicle or borrowed one of our children vehicle in order to sit comfortable and beside each other.

Takata recall we were notified of this recall about 4 yrs ago. ford told us it would be a l o n g wait for them to replace the airbag problems. earlier this yr we were notified that it would be done later this year. since then, nothing has been communicated. the problems has not been fixed.

Called murry ford in kingsland ga, said they did not have the parts from ford motor co, nothing thay can do!
