Tacata recall ;i just had a reflection on the fact that i've been driving around in a time bomb for nine years. i think of this almost every time i drive it. not a very nice thought to have. so what's the deal are they ever going to fix my car or you people going to just let it slide. i wan't a new car. i would even take a refund. the stress of this is becoming just too much. i was sold a defective product now i want to exchange it for one that is not defective. that's my problem. now who is going to do anything about it. who will even read this?

I received a letter about a recall on my passenger air bag about a year ago and ford has not released a replacement part yet and i am concerned about the safety of my passengers and myself due to metal fragments that could be released if the airbag is deployed.

Nothing has happned but i currently have my car at mcree ford in dickinson tx for another recall fix and mentioned the air bags and get told yet again that they do not have the parts - is this ever going to be solved? i do not just have the funds to purchase another vehicle for my child - why is this taking so long?

Airbag signal light on, now off, but hear noise sometime i bought this car last october, 2 recalls are incomplete.

Takata recall- ford does not have a remedy available for my vehicle. they sent me a letter stating to not have anyone sit in the front passenger seat due to possible injury or death. when contacting ford customer care they refused to give me a rental until a remedy is available and refuse to take responsibilty if something should happen to a passenger in my vehicle.

Takata recall: still waiting 2 years later for airbag to be replaced. all the while noone is supposed to ride in the passenger seat? ford should be held responsible and they should be reimbursing us for time and inconvenience. ford needs to be pushed into taking action against takata and hopefully reach a settlement offer for customers.

My car has been under a safety recall for 2 years and the front seat is unusable. ford has no idea when they will fix this. what do i do? drive around in a dangerous car? do you force ford at some point to buy the cars back or give us money to compensate - i am at a loss as to what i am supposed to do and what nhtsa does in this case. ford essentially is doing nothing.

Takata recall & steering failure i have a 2011 ford fusion on which the steering suddenly failed, without any warning, while driving. thankfully the failure occurred close to our home and my wife was able to make it home without incident. i've been doing research online and learned that this is a common problem. while ford has issued a recall for some later models, they are not covering all viechles with the same part. i am contacting you to raise awareness that the problem still exists and is still impacting people. i have owned many cars that are much older and have never had a complete steering loss. i also want to let you know that we are still waiting for resolution of the takata airbag recall. the recall was issued by ford in july of 2016. we have continued to drive the car with the promise by ford that the car is safe, however, as i continue to read about incidents online, realize that may not be the case. after all, if it were safe there wouldn't have been a recall. my wife has gotten to the point where she doesn't want to drive the car for concerns for her safety. i feel this is unacceptable and am asking for your help to hold ford accountable to: 1.accept responsibility for the steering issue and the risk it posses and extend the racall to all affected viechles 2.expedite the repair on the airbag recall thank you!

Takata inflators. got a notice for a recall on airbags for my car. there is still no remedy to fix it and they said not to have anyone in front passenger seat. how am i supposed to drive my car with no front passengers. this is ridiculous and needs to be fixed asap or they can make my car payment or get me a new car that i can drive with my family in.

Since previous notification, from ford corporation, of a defective airbag, i've been to metro motors dealership, on more than one occasion, and i was told metro motors hasn't receive any parts in order to repair our 2011 ford fusion (sport model) defective passenger (right side) airbag.

Since june 2016 ford issued a recall, but they have yet failed to make the replacement available at their dealerships. it is november 2, 2017. my vehicle is still at risk for over a year.

Takata recall i can not get my air bag replaced until the part becomes available and i contacted my ford dealer who informs me there is no expected date for the air bag to be available. this is totally unexceptable. the part needs to be manufactured and sent out to all dealers who have customers with an effected auto. what is going happen if a person is killed due to this recall that is not being fulfilled,? the company needs to get it in gear and get these air bags made and sent out.

The air bags were recalled in june of 2016. i received a notice from the bankruptcy court (tk holdings, inc) to contact a local dealer for a replacement air bag. i did and they do not have any replacement air bags. when will this recall be fulfilled? the delay in remedying this defect is unreasonable.

Takata recall. ford has notified me about the issue through their recall report system for this car model, however, still no repairing or solution to this recall has been provided since this recall has been reported (june 2016 - status: recall incomplete. remedy not yet available). my car is running fine now, but at this point and with this airbag recall pending, i'm not sure how safe is driving it.

We received the recall notice in the mail for my car when ford first went public with the recall notice.vi went to dealership and was told that there were no replacements available and there would probably never be a replacement available. but they did say they were putting us on a list to be repaired if the airbags ever became available. of course i'm still driving around in this deathtrap of a car with no replacement insight.

Takata recall we all know of this recall and i received my first recall notice over 1 year ago. every time i call ford i am told the same thing... "we have not released parts yet.. will call when we do". in the mean time i have my family driving around in a very unsafe car. what can we do as consumers? this is ridiculous! they are obviously just trying to see if we will forget about it. what is your role (nhtsa) in forcing them to either give me the parts or take the car back?? i need a resolution.. my family is not safe in this!
