I took my car to sheehy ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. upon picking the car up after it was "fixed", there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. these lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. the dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.

I was driving on hwy 23 when all of sudden the dash light came on saying default trac service soon. then my steering went out && it was like i had no power steering. about 2 weeks prior i had to have tyson rod ends put on inside & out after just having them replaced in april. my airbag light comes on saying passenger airbag. a noise like a rubbing/scraping noise every time i turn the steering wheel that i've had the car looked at several times.

Power steering intermittently fails when i am driving. i have no control over my car when this happens. passenger side airbag has issued a recall. i live in washington state and no dealer has the replacement parts i've been waiting for 2 years!!!

I don't own this car but i was seriously thinking about acquiring this car till when i looked up the vin and it had an old open recall on the airbags that the car company selling it should atleast tell you there is. i realize facebook may not be the best online service to use to buy a vehicle but the dealership should have at the least mentioned the recall and what they should have already done was have it taken in an fixed for the safety of its client its crazy. please get ahold of the dealership who owns this car and tell them to get the recall taken care off thank you. there are cars that have this recalls that should be taken care of as soon as the obtained them. i've noticed that facebooka car marketplace has alot of cars for sale with open recalls some a couple months old and some over 10 years old please look into this dealership on facebook trying to sell cars with recalls on them an young kid or older lady may not even think about looking up the vins to see if there is an open recall buy the car and then possible die or get severely hurt because these dealerships didn't take car of all recalls that open on car on there lot. i would never ever sell someone a car with an open recall even if it was very minor, so how can these dealerships go unchecked selling open recall cars, here's the vin [xxx] please for god sake make it to where nobody can sell a car on any website without getting it fixed or explaining there is one and offer to get it fixed before they buy or if they buy get it towed to get the recall fixed. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

When i started up the car & was going to pull out the light for passenger air bag came on, then i turn my wheel & there is like a grinding sound. i pulled on side of road & had someone come check it. they said same thing i did. i thought it was something rubbing against the tire, but when we looked there was nothing. then he kept turning the wheel & it sounded more in the steering column. my husband checked underneath the car when i got home & thank goodness he did because the tie rod ends inside & out were so bad that i was lucky to have not of crashed. still the steering is making that loud grinding, screeching sound. air bag & trac lights come on occasionally still also. really feel unsafe driving my car here the last few months. ive had it parked for the last month & bought just something to get around for now til i can afford to have it fixed or they have a recall on these. ive seen so many other people with same problems & i also seen they recalled the 2011 for same issues. why not the 2010?????

Takata inflators: my vehicle was not driven for 6 months as part of the recall. i was given a rental while waiting for parts, but since having the recall parts installed my vehicle has started having brake problems. when driving the brake pedal will go all the way down to the floor. it feels like the brakes will not hold pressure. i had the brake pads and rotors changed after it sat for 6 months.

I was driving this car on a city street when the 'service power steering now' light came on. i couldn't turn the wheel so i took it to precision tune and they reset it but told me that they see this make/model of car with the same power steering issue a lot and that if it happened again that i would have to take it to the dealership. that was monday it is now thursday and the same 'service power steering' light came on again! i'm told that the entire power steering system has to be replaced for 1800+

Takata recall. are car has been recalled for the takata airbag recall. after placing numerous calls and providing every possible piece of information i can not get ford motor company or the dealer to respond to the recall.the dealer is feduke ford, vestal ny. i have now received another notice new york state dmv also stating the importance of getting the recall done under threat of eminent death and still can not get any response from ford. is there anything that can be done?

Takata recall every ford dealerships that i call, they don't have air bags to replace. i have been calling since this past year and every dealer says that they don't have the part stock and will call me once they get it. i haven't received a call yet. i called today and they said it takes 3 weeks to receive the part. they said i should try other dealerships. it seems like they don't want to replace the air bag.

Our local ford dealership, in grand junction co, is will not make us an appointment to repair airbag recall, they keep putting us off and making excuses! we received the letter in march on recall (although letter is dated february 2019, we received it in march). we called march 15 to set up an appointment to have it repaired- and have been getting denied ever since. they said that ford is only sending them 3 kits per week to fix recalls. we continue to ask to be put on the list - they say they are backed up and will call when they have one for us. we are still waiting and it will be may tomorrow! the parts woman-our contact for all of this, is extremely rude and refuses to give any more information! we have been calling since march to check on the status and get car repaired - and she continues to be so annoyed by our request and is very unprofessional! it has been so frustrating, we literally don't know what else we can do! ford gives us a notice, that our car is dangerous.they are the ones that tell us to take it to their dealership to have it repaired! so we immediately stop driving it. it has been very inconvenient, without a car and sharing rides! we even conveyed this fact to this ford representative- and she made it known that she could care less! we finally had to start driving car last week- we are desperate! please help us!

Tacata recall. today i called the anacortes ford dealership in wa state and spoke with josh in the service department. i told him i had a letter from ford about a recall. he said that ford is out of the parts and they aren't able to order any. i asked how long till they can order more and he said maybe a month. so i asked what my options were, if i needed to call back every month. he said the best he could do was add me to his list and keep an eye on it. i explained that my husband had called a few months back and spoke with someone who said they were ordering the part and would be calling him back in a few weeks. he said there was nothing on record of that. i am extremely unsatisfied with the handling of the situation. it's been over a year since i first started getting letters about this recall. the most recent letter i received from ford motor company dated february 2019, states that, 'parts are available to repair your vehicle however, your dealer will need to order parts for your vehicle prior to your appointment.' this is not congruent with what josh said. he said they are not able to order any more at this time.

I was involved in a direct hit accident at approximately 50-55 mph. neither of the front airbags deployed in the car.

Takata recall -- it's been over a year since i received the recall notice from ford and this issue still has not been fixed. seems like an excessive amount of time to wait for a fix when it's possible the airbag could explode upon accident.

Well for one ford was supppse to have done transmission work on my car two years ago n now my car is doing the same thing. for example it started with when 8n park it rocks back and foward more the a inch in either direction. i seen where there was a recall on the transmission for that very problem but it was never fixed on my car. second thing is there were a recall on my airbags , ford had my car for 2 weeks n said they fix the airbag problem but that was a lie. i have plenty of recordings of the passenger airbags off light still coming on. so if u would be so kind and get these problems n recalls taking care of it would be great thanks..

My car has a airbag recall notice, i have been waiting for a repair on my car for months, i have the rental car but i received a call today from the local dealership that i have to return the rental tomorrow but they cannot give me a eta on the repair for my car? all they told me is that they would no longer pay for the rental after today. i have a family of 5 so i'm not sure how i can put my family in my car and be safe? my recall number nhtsa 16v-384. i was hoping someone can give me direction on this. i called ford motor company and was told that i would have to ask for a extension from the same dealership that told me i have to return the rental car in less than 24 hours. they told me they do not get involved in privately owned dealerships. wasn't ford motor company the one that had the recall????

I am having problems with several things. air bag was recalled so i took it to the ford dealership and they replaced it but the light won't go off, after getting my car back from the dealership the radio/speaker and seat warmers went out, soon after the heat/ac went out, the rear driver side tail light goes out very often, plate lights don't work, visor lights don't work. they're are too many issues that started at the same time, so i think it must be electrical. thanks

It has been 11 months since the recall (manufacturer recall number 18s01, nhtsa recall number 18v046) was made and there is still not a fix/resolution.

Ford dealer ships are not honoring fords settlement regarding rental cars. when complain to ford about dealerships basicall told too bad. can't help you. even though they do not have the part in stock, claim they have to order it. maybe in 3-6 weeks they may get the part.

The light has come on that signifies "power steering assist fault". the wheel stiffens up and the vehicle looses power steering. it starts as soon as the ignition is started. the vehicle's steering wheel locks up.

Takata recall i called woody anderson ford in huntsville, al and did not get a call back for inspection and service for my 2010 ford fusion. it took me two more calls to get somebody on the line. i finally did, his name is [xxx], who told me that my front passenger airbag was in recall. he told me that i could still drive my car as long as i did not have anyone in the front seat. i have older children who ride in that seat, 15 years and above. i asked him if the airbag would deploy and he said not to risk it. i asked if i could get a rental car and he said since it was a passenger airbag that i could not because the car was still drivable without any passengers. what??? information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

Takata recall - ford has failed to meet the deadline of june 30, 2018 for "sufficient supply and remedy launch" for priority group 9 (which includes 2010 ford fusion in illinois, which is zone b according to the nhtsa's website) stated in paragraph 34 of the nhtsa's third amendment to the coordinated remedy order (cro). specifically, i called my ford dealer (wickstrom ford (847) 381-8850) and understand that no replacement parts for the passenger side psan inflator is available to remedy the defect. i have decided to contact nhtsa because takata has filed bankruptcy and sends legal notices intended to limit my rights in the event of bodily harm, property damage, or economic harm and -- this past week -- ford has sent me a legal notice in a class action intended to limit my rights in the event of economic harm. nhtsa should take steps to prevent ford and takata from taking away consumers' legal rights until they provide adequate replacement parts for every affected consumer (i.e., no taking away rights unless consumers fail to take reasonable steps to avoid the harm by taking cars to dealers in a timely manner).

Takata recall. received first notice february 2018. received another notice dated may 2018 saying parts would be available during the second and third quarters of 2018. today the dealer says the part still isn't available.

Airbag safety recall 16s26 i contacted beach ford in myrtle beach requesting rental car 7/11/18, i called for parts replacement appointment 11/12/18. no parts are available, no rental cars available.

Takata recall: i have waited too long for the fix!

Takata recall. ford in a number of communication expressed that parts to satisfy this recall would be available during the second or third quarter of 2018. in a conversation with ford customer service, ford advised parts are not yet available and no certainty of delivery date. believe government should require ford to provide an updated status.
