Had recall service done for fuel tank deformation issue or so the dealerships says. but after i the car back it seems to be running great but 5 miles down the road it stalls on me and fails to crank when it did it wouldnt continue to run or idle for long before stalling again. after 30 mo s or so of priming fuel pump and retrying and letting set. it cranks up and runs fine. recall needs to be further researched or dealership needs to be investigated for fraudulently claiming to complete recall procedures and not doing so.

A bought a used ford car from toyota, the car unknowingly had a recall on it. the car has been seen 10 times, under warranty, the transmission and clutch has gone out, ford and toyota have refused to by back the car. car has been out of service for 31 days as of now. and i have not received a rental, ford will not open the recall back open. hendricks won't look at the car they tell me to take it back to ford. while driving the car the car would not exelorate pass 40-55 miles per hour. the radio, bluetooth ports stopped working. the auto start and stop stopped working. i have contacted ford company more than 10 times with 6 case numbers. the last time i was driving the car i was in motion on the highway when i could smell a burning oder, then the clutch pedal went out (stuck in the far back position) then the car when into limp mode and would not excel pas 50 miles per hour after pressing the gas the gas petal goes out. the stick to change gears when out and the car was smoking. i then rolled off the nearest exit ramp where the car came to a stop in the middle of the street
Takata recall, my car just starts to lose break fluid real quick and now the engine has been over heating for the past couple days and it has started off of know where. i've been keeping up with the maintenance and it has been messing up lately. it's a practally brand new car with very low mileage i've had it for 7 months and it's been giving me a lot of problems.
Takata recall my cars transmission light is on and a message came up saying transmission at fault. also when i would stop completely at a stop sign or red light the car would shudder and make a weird noise. i've been have trouble turning it on, i would have to jump start it every now and then.
When i drive for more that 20 minutes, my car will start dying without warning. i can then put it in park and start the car, which it will then start up and i can drive for about another minute and it will die again. it will do this over and over unless i stop driving and let the car 'rest' for at least 30 minutes. this started happening a week after i had some recall work done on the csv.
This complaint is in regards to the ford focus/fiesta dps6 transmission issue. due to the dry dual clutch system issue, the vehicle engine would shake and rumble violently while moving. this mostly occurs when the supposedly automatic transmission shifting from the first and second gear. the first time i reported this to the dealer, they replaced the clutch which stopped the rumble issue until few months later, the rumble returned. again i reported this to the dealership however this time they blamed it on the purge valve in the gas tank which they replaced. this did not fix the rumble issue and the dealership did not try to verify the rumble. they simply did not acknowledge it by stating they could not replicate the problem. few months later while i was on the freeway, the rumble occurred again but worse than before. immediately my vehicle lost power as if it's stuck at first gear. the vehicle's speed dropped tremendously which is extremely dangerous since i was on the freeway and everyone was going 60+ mph. luckily i was able to pull over safely without getting hit. i restarted the vehicle and it ran continue to rumble but not as violently, the check engine light was on. i quickly brought the vehicle to the dealership for repair. even though i have a bumper to bumper warranty, the warranty company refuse to cover the transmission repair because the dual clutch system is technically a manual clutch. for that reason they do not cover it. as a consumer, we have no idea exactly what type of parts the vehicle contains. the vehicle was advertised as automatic transmission which in common sense, it does not contain a manual clutch. the dealership was requesting $2000+ fee to replace this clutch. at the same time of this inspection, the purge valve in the gas tank was also defected and needs to be replaced.
18s32 manufacturer recall & 18v735 nhtsa recall. this recall was first posted approximately 8.5 months ago and i still have not heard anything about bringing it in for repair. this is a huge safety concern and i have a child i transport in it daily. i want and need this recall resolved asap as i will soon be transporting another young child. i can feel it acting funny as if something isn't moving properly or it is stalling like it isn't getting fuel when i am moving whether it's slow fast, short distance or long distance and has been happening more and more consistently for the last month or two
Bought ford focus 2015 on 02/25/2019 at drive time. during the process, they told me that there was a recall on the engine stalling but the issue didn't involve any further action. it only took me 3 weeks to start having engine stall while driving or at stop line without any caution warning. also have engine caution on the dashboard on 04/24/2019.
Will driving down the street the other day my car stalled out well driving this is not the first time this has happened not only that but when you accelerate my car grinds while shifting gears the ford dealership already told me it's due to my recall issue but when asked to fix it they told me i was going to have to pay them first my children were in my car had we been on the highway we could have been dead something needs to be done about this needs to be done as soon as possible because i am telling you right now if something happens to me or my family i will hold whoever is reading this email and forward personally responsible
Car constantly has issues stuttering when trying to accelerate. it causes shaking in the car and only lightly lessens when the gas tank is over halfway full and/or has a recent oil change. already had a few parts replaced concerning the cpv because the gas pedal ceased functioning whilst driving on the interstate. i've gotten the recall notice letter but no full solution has been offered yet.

The car shut off on me while driving and i scheduled the dealership to fix it because i found similar issues and a recall but when i dropped my car off they said no recall existed for my car and there is nothing they can about my car. when i was leaving the dealership i almost got hit in traffic because i had the same issue for two days in a row and it keeps happening.
Vehicle stalls while driving, regardless of speed and fuel level. check engine light goes on and off regularly. dealership claims nothing wrong but vehicle continues to stall.
Engine overheated at 56478 miles with no warning 1.0 liter three cylinder. driving 70 mph and temp gages went into red without any advanced warning pulled over.
My engine constantly stalls when accelerating. this happens not only in low rpm use but also when i am on the freeway. the stalling makes my car shake and it is making driving extremely dangerous and i am constantly hesitant to have my family inside of my car. i am still waiting for the recall to contact to fix the solution but it is taking an unreasonable amount of time. please expedite thenhtsa recall regarding my car.
There was a recall for the fuel purge valve getting stuck and not allowing my car to stay on after turning my car on it will run for 5 to 10 seconds before it stalls due to loss of fuel. i took my car to ford dealership and they said they did not have the part to replace it, but they took my car in, once i got my car the very same day back. it did it again the next morning. i have tried fuel cleaners to resolve the problem but it still persists, it stalled on me while driving on this past monday, and now when i try to search for the recall for information it looks like it was taken off from their website. the issue is not fixed and they do not have the part? as a consumer what can we do to fix a defect from manufacturing. my car is a 2015 ford focus with 75k miles and there was issues with this car from the start, including the known issue about the dual clutch transmission where it stutters and shakes while trying to change gears and take off from full stop. this car should be consider a lemon car and no one should buy it. this is fraud by ford and they know it.

My car was driving very sluggish on 10/24/2018, i had my car towed 42 miles to the last ford dealerships that worked on my car last for a engine issue. after they did some test they said that my engine has blown due to the head gasket warped and the cylinders warped which caused coolant to leak into my engine. upon talking with the ford dealership they said that i did nothing to cause this, the service advisory said it was a defect of the design since my car showed no signs of issues. ford said that my car should have overheated or had warning signs appear.
There was a recall issued for my car and the manufacturer has not provided a remedy.

Vehicle has intermittent starting problems. inside dash lights flash on and off. cannot have inside dome light on (the light that comes on when doors open) or it drains the battery. settings for radio/heater/clock/etc. change on their own. nothing ever stays set. i have taken it in to the dealership a couple times now and they can never find anything. they kept it for 3 days the last time. this has been happening since i bought it. the vehicle is stationary when i have the starting problem. sometimes the car will start in a few minutes, sometimes longer. the other problems with inside lights and dashboard happen when the car is in motion. this happens on various days and times.
The car has a known recall about the fuel system the car will randomly just shut off without warning ford said you must keep the car on a half tank of gas at all times.they don't have the parts but my car is getting so bad very very bad
Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ford focus. the contact stated that the transmission caused the vehicle to jerk and the transmission overheating indicator illuminated several times. in addition, the engine was not functioning normally. the vehicle drove roughly and there was a reduction in power and speed, which could cause the vehicle to stall. north county ford (450 w vista way, vista, ca 92083, 1-(888) 833-0634) stated that campaign number: 18s32 (stuck canister purge valve may cause a stall) could remedy the failure. the vehicle remained at the dealer awaiting repairs. the manufacturer was notified. the approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
The engine is starting to leak oil. the service writer did state it's a common problem with these cars.
When i press on the gas to accelerate after stopping at a stop sign or red light, (after i have driven the car a small distance) the car jerks and jumps and does not want to accelerate. i am not sure if this is coming from the transmission or not, but it worries me because i do not want to be stuck in the middle of an intersection because my car will not go. it has been happening a lot, but i have not had it in to a repair shop yet and i am wondering if it has anything to do with the bad transmissions that were put into the ford focuses. this happens weather i am driving on a city street or on a highway and it is very concerning. i got a letter in the mail from ford back in december 2018 that stated my car was having issues with certain things and that they would be sending out a recall in the first quarter of 2019, but i never received any correspondence from ford after that. this issue has been happening for a long time.

The car shuddered and jerked when stopped and on acceleration from a stop. a metal grinding can be heard from the engine while driving during this jerking from acceleration. the car would lose power while driving. one time, the car stalled, resulting in lose of power, while i was turning left through an intersection. i have brought the car into the dealership for repair many times with no resolution of these symptoms.
There is now this grinding noise coming from my car engine. was acting up a month after i bought it in 2017. everyone said oh it's fine there's nothing wrong with it. well it acts up as soon as i start to drive it slow.... others say it's the transmission. and others say i'm stupid. it slips when you start to go. i want this fixed

My transmission does not shift properly ans everyone that i know that has this same type of vehicle is having the same problem. when you take off the trans doesnt shift right.
Car hesitates and does not shift smoothly. take offs are dangerous because car shifts radically.
Car sputters, hesitates, makes clinking noises when accelerating. entire front end including steering wheel shakes and vehicle hestitates when given gas. when stopped car randomly idles without using gas pedal, even completely loses power as if out of gas requiring car to be restarted. engine also shifts gears late in rpm sequence. i have already paid for out of pocket the issue related to the gas cyclinder which is the open recall and these problems continue to persist. problem has persisnted every day since date selected whihc is when i purchased vehicle.

Issues with the transmission slipping, engine hesitating and not accelerating immediately. has been to the dealer twice and both time said nothing is wrong. same issues that is part of the class action lawsuit. occurs when accelerating from a stop, every time.
When i push on gas it take a while to speed up. also it idols sometimes. take awhile to gear up to speed. sounds like it is dragging

When vehicle is in motion, it shutters, and slips gears. i experience power loss while driving, and have also experienced trouble trying to get it to switch gears properly when accelerating. when i initially purchased the vehicle (first time car buyer) and took it for a test drive, i was told these are normal, and would not be cause for concern, but have since become a huge concern.

Purchased mid august 2016. we have put approx 750 miles on it in that short time. 1st incident, my wife stopped and while the car was in drive rolled backwards on an incline that resembles level. 2. from stop attempting to accelerate it jumps, stutters and barley moves. we have already had a near collision in an intersection due to this. additionally, while getting on the on ramp it is so sluggish at times, that we are not even at proper speed to get on a freeway. unsafe, purchased from enterprise who told us nothing about this at the time of purchase. enterprise is allowing people drive away in these piles. if there hasn't been deaths, there will be. enterprise is not advising customers of this because they have many in their fleet they must move out. shame on them. note: the following from the enterprise web site. worry free ownership. our job doesn't end when you pull off the lot. for your continued driving pleasure, we offer a unique combination of benefits to keep you happy down the road. they boast about a 12 month/12,000 mile powertrain warranty (limited) so you don't have to worry. they will tell you all of the issues we be taken care of. this is a lie because ford doesn't have the answer yet.
Twice pulling on to a busy hwy my car has stalled/shuddered, and lost power. both times heat gauge sky rocketing. the last time my car turned off entirely, and had over heated. however it had only been in operation for about 5 min. both times on a busy hwy. first time i took it in, they said it was a module update. two weeks later it happened again and worse. i was able to limp my car into the dealership after letting it sit for 5 minutes. they replaced gaskets, and blew them on their test drive. replaced a hose and gaskets again. my car was returned to me two days ago, and less than 50 miles later, the check engine light came on. the coolant was half full, and in the course of roughly 30 minutes of operation it had gone through half of the coolant. yet there is no trace of a leak on the ground. in addition to all of that, on the first fix the ac had cut out twice which since they have claimed to have fixed. with all of this, it had created quite a fowl smell in my car as a result. my car at this point, my car has been in the shop 21 business days (not including saturdays.. which they work), the issues started mid august and it is now october 7th. they offered to give us the car back and that it was "just an air bubble". despite the check engine light being on and excessive loss of coolant. my car has been in motion each time it has had an issue. the first issue i was just pulling on to the hwy, so was just attempting to accelerate. the second time i had reached the hwy speed of 55 mph. (separate incident, they also had to replace a faulty seatbelt).
