Problems with 2014 Ford Focus FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

On average, the 2014 Ford Focus starts to “feel” problems with the FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM and its various aspects after 60 220 miles.

Recently reported FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM problems on 2014 Ford Focus

(1) i scheduled service at darcars ford lanham md for 9/11/18 for poor driving & extremely poor gas mileage (was filling up about 2x/week instead of 1x/2 week). car had 53,166 miles, & no warning lights ever came on. darcars did a tune-up which did nothing to improve the gas mileage. (2) i scheduled service for 9/18/18. darcars found problem: seized fuel canister that damaged the fuel pump and caused fuel tank to implode. all parts were replaced. (3) after repairs, gas mileage was better but not back to normal. used to get > 30 ml/gal, & when i filled up, display always said >400 ml to empty. now i get 27-28 ml/gal, and after fill-up display says ~330 ml to empty. (4) i received nhtsa recall 18v-735 in 12/18. it indicated there was no fix yet. (5) scheduled an oil change for 1/30/19 and asked darcars for status of recall. darcars said there was a fix: parts replacement & reprogramming. darcars determined that parts previously replaced were ok, so only reprogramming was done. (6) real problems began 3/1/19. car suddenly drove extremely poorly while on highway. it would hesitate, & when i gave it a little more gas, it lurched & drove erratically. it then stalled out completely. i tried to restart car a few times & after a few minutes it started. car had ~3/4 tank of gas and no warning lights ever came on. i scheduled service on 3/5/19. darcars added or replaced a transmission module. (7) no change in gas mileage, & latest serious problem happened 3/21/19. while on highway, car stalled out completely with no warning. gas tank was near full, & no warning lights ever came on. tried to restart car several times but it wouldn't start. called for a tow. tried to restart car couple more times while on phone with aaa but no luck. ~10 minutes or so later, while waiting for tow truck, tried to start car again & it started.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while driving 20 mph, the vehicle started to hesitate and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to san tan ford (located at 1429 e motorplex loop, gilbert, az 85297, (480) 821-3200) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 102,000.

My vehicle was serviced under 18s32 for a potential stuck evap purge valve causing excessive vacuum in the fuel system. as my vehicle did not have a failed part at the time of the recall service, only a pcm update was performed. less than 2 months after the recall service, the purge valve failed and caused random stalls of the vehicle, including while the vehicle was in motion. ford claims the recall was completed and i, the consumer, am responsible for the cost of the repairs, even with the original part, subject to the recall 18s32, was the fault for the issue. i believe that the recall needs to be re-opened on all the vehicles that did not have the purge valve replaced and the part needs to be replaced to prevent future safety issues with the vehicle.

I have a recall for possible deformed fuel tank. it is making my car stall at any time to include using cruise control or stopped at a light. the issue is known by my local ford dealership. their advice is to keep the gas tank filled above half but i have stalled after driving 30 miles after filling up. i had them inspect my car and they said everything looked fine. i asked about the stalling and they said wait for the software. i guess they expect that i walk to work until they fix the issue. i had a local mechanic look at it and they recommend i wait for the recall because they are unsure if the part will fix the problem without the software. i already had to rent a car for a family emergency and dont want to get stranded while driving to work because i am forced to drive a faulty car with no fix. i can afford to buy or rent a car until an unknown date.

Multiply safety recalls and i took to 2 different dealerships, but dealerships refused to do or to fix my car. now my check engine light is on again. code reader has 2 codes 1450 and 144a. needs to be repaired, but dealership filed a false report stating the recalls were already done. it is not the case. the only recall that was done was for the door latches. the purse valve and fuel sensors still need to be fixed.

While driving the vehicle in traffic, my 17 year old daughter has experienced extreme shuttering, followed by engine shut off. this has happened 3 times at multiple speeds, once decelerating at a red light, once accelerating while merging into traffic and once while driving 45 mph on a highway. luckily, she has not yet been involved in a car accident as a result. after the first incident, the car was serviced at a local ford dealership in 12/2018. the same problem has occurred 2 additional times since then. this particular vin is not under a recall although we are experiencing the same safety issues other ford focus 2014 recalled vehicles have reported.

My car is part of the 18s32 (ford) recall for the "fuel tank deformation". i had it serviced in march in bolivar, mo at bill grant ford dealership. the reprogrammed the part as needed due to the mil being on with the code and stated that the recall has been fixed and ford has closed the recall on my car. the car would not start after fueling and it could take anywhere between 5 minutes to upwards of 45 minutes for it to be able to start after fueling, which leaves me stranded at times. their repair lasted about 2-3 weeks and it was back to doing it again so i am back at square 1 with this car. the car is back in the shop again after several weeks of waiting to get in the shop. it is currently at the jim trenary ford dealship in moscow mills, mo where i reside. they are saying that the purge valve is failing due to the recall, as the recall states exactly. and due to the fact that the recall is closed on my car because it was repaired once, ford is refusing to pay for it. it is not my obligation to pay for this repair as this is 100% ford's fault and i will not provide payment for it. ford issues the new recall (19s22) and they are saying that mine is not included in that recall but yet it needs to be as the issue is still happening. i have reached out to ford and they state that they will not cooperate with paying for the repair on the vehicle, even though this is their recalled part. or they need to expand the recall for a more broad spectrum of vehicles as this is unacceptable. i request the help of the nhtsa to assist me with having ford fix what they broke. thank you.

I bought a 2014 ford focus back in june of 2018. i had to have the transmission fixed a few days later due to an open recall. after that i had no issues. october 2018 i found out about the most recent recall with the cpv and such. since then, my car has not run good. it jerks, acts like it doesn't want to go, and my fuel reading is almost always wrong. i have two young children and am scared to drive my car. when i call my local dealership they tell me there's is no remedy available yet and to just keep it at under half a tank of gas. which is stupid since i can't get an accurate fuel reading! i can fill it completely full, drive one mile, then suddenly be on 3/4 tank. that's is ridiculous.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while driving 60 mph, the check engine indicator illuminated, the fuel gauge fluctuated between full and empty, and the vehicle stalled. the contact stated that the vehicle ran out of fuel. the contact stated that the vehicle was pushed to a fuel station and filled with fuel; however, the vehicle failed to restart. the vehicle was towed to al packer's white marsh ford (located at 9801 pulaski hwy, middle river, md 21220, (443) 777-5000) where it was diagnosed that the fuel tank was deformed due to a stuck canister purge valve. the vehicle was not repaired. the vin was not available to verify if the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline). the contact stated that the failure recurred several times. the manufacturer was not informed of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 75,000.

February 12 our way to work about 1/4 mile away. at the stop light waiting for the other car to turn. i let go of the break then car just stopped in the middle of the road while in driving. lights are on. power windows. fuel tank deformation. i got it towed to the dealership. saying i have to pay $800 something dollars for diagnostics and the other problem he is saying. until now i still don't have a car. they did not give me a rental car or have the car towed. this defects puts my life and the other person in danger and now i have to pay for the company defects? i called 3 different mechanics about it. doing my own research what is really going on. take note: these people have not seen or touched my car. i just simply stated what happened. and i told them about the recall.

My 2014 focus st stalls every time i come to a stop even with a full tank of gas due to a failing cpv which is part of the current ford recall 18v735. however ford has still not gotten a remedy and my car has been waiting almost almost 4 months now for this recall to be ready since it started.

Car is very hesitant when attempting to accelerate. highly concerned of recall repair time frame due to possibility of crash. this has occurred since purchase in 2016 during every use.

Car stalled while driving down a major highway, had to have it towed. ford has no current fix for the recall on the pcv valve. the only solution they gave me was to keep the fuel tank above half full ("until the vehicle is serviced for this concern customers are advised to maintain at least 1/2 tank of fuel") , however when the issue occurred for the second time i had over 3/4 of a tank. ive called the customer service line and also talked to the dealership from where i bought the vehicle. would not offer a rental car because the car is still deemed safe to drive ("an engine stall while driving without warning or without the ability to restart, can increase the risk of a crash.")... although in the recall letter received says "may increase risk of crash". also with this recall they say "causing the plastic fuel tank to deform, resulting in an inaccurate or erratic fuel gauge indication" how am i to keep more than a half a tank if the vehicle does not register the correct amount of fuel in the tank. the car is a 2014 and has 54000miles..

Takata recall. while going down the highway, my car shuddered harder than usual and seemed like it lost power. my transmission light came on soon after this. i took my car to a local dealership and they explained that there was a recall on my car for a control module that would cause my car to stall without notice. when my car stalled it made a loud knock and my clutch brake broke. the dealership told me that the breaking of my clutch brake could not be covered in the recall because it is different section of the transmission. my question is if the transmission is faulty to begin with then wouldn't it affect my clutch brake and cause it to be under too much stress? i now have to pay 1500$ to have it fixed, but the recall is free of charge.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while driving various speeds, the vehicle suddenly shut off, erroneously shifted, and surged backwards while stopped. the vehicle was taken to crossroads ford of wake forest (10101 capital blvd, wake forest, nc) where it was repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000(fuel system). after the contact retrieved the vehicle, the failure continued. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 95,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while attempting to drive out of the parking lot, the vehicle stalled. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and then later towed to mahwah ford sales and service (55 franklin turnpike, mahwah, nj 07430). the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system). the manufacturer was contacted and stated that the parts would not be available until february of 2019. the vehicle was currently still at the dealer until the parts for the repair arrived. the failure mileage was unknown. vin tool confirms parts not available.

Nhtsa contacted ford back in may 2018 about the purge valve that sits on top of the fuel tank. ford issued recall 18s32 back in december 2018. my car was supposed be fixed, according to the letter i received from ford, in january 2019. ford has provided no updates for this fix. when i contact ford, i am told there is no time table for a fix. this is ridiculous. i am told by ford to not drive under half a tank of gas and not trust the gas gauge. this needs to get fixed asap.

When driving down the highway going 70 mph, the door bell started sounding, the check brake fluid read out came on like the car had a major problem electrical. this happened four times thru this past winter 2018/2019. the temperature on the dash was 10 degrees or below every time it happened. rude awakening on the highway. also the front wheels will spin when trying to take off from a stop sign on occasion. like it can't get going. one more thing is going down the highway i've had no power like the car is in neutral when i've had the cruise on. this has happened twice. i don't have exact dates one date was 12/26/2018

Takata recall.engine stalls w/o notice, inside cab reeks of gas smell. ford remedy is to keep gas tank 1/2 full. doesn't work. just filled up and still stalled while entering into the freeway. i did not use cheap fuel. very dangerous and the remedy does not work. took car to dealership twice now and they confirmed it's 1 of 10 focus on the recall. in other words 10% of their focus have this recall and symptoms. i called ford corp and they gave me 2 options, 1)drive car with 1/2 tank or more 2) don't drive it at all. i need it for work #2 is not an option. ford will not give a loaner car even i told them their remedy is not working and can cause bodily injury or even death.

I received a letter from the manufacturer about a recall dealing with the clutch, i took my car to the ford dealership just like the letter stated!well they refused to replace the part, stating my car didn't meet the requirements to be replaced! i left with the car still not fixed! that was 6 months ago, i just took it back to the dealership again, and of course they refusing to replace anything on it under the recall! so, i was told that my car warranty has expired, ( it was still under warranty when i first took it to them) now they trying to make me pay 2300 dollars to get it fixed! don't every buy a ford!

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact received a recall notification for nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline) and stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time to repair the vehicle. al piemonte ford (2500 w north ave, melrose, il 60160) was contacted and confirmed that parts were not available to perform the recall repair. the contact stated that the vehicle hesitated when attempting to accelerate. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was unknown. vin tool confirms parts not available.

I received a notice from ford (12/2018) about a recall 18v-735. this involves a "stuck purge valve"(cpv) with in the fuel vapor system. the letter said i would be notified when the part would be ready for the repair. it said the parts were to anticipated to be available by 1st quarter, 2019. we are now into the 3rd quarter of the year and i have yet to receive notice of the part being ready to make the repairs.

Ford motor company (fmc) issued a recall (18s32) in december of 2018, copy attached with notes of dates i followed up with them. the issue is "on your vehicle, the engine may stall due to a stuck canister purge valve (cpv) within the fuel vapor system." their recall letter indicated that "parts are anticipated to be available by 1st quarter, 2019." i have followed up with fmc three times, the last of which was on 6/24/19 when i "chatted" with lacy. that chat was totally unsatisfactory. basically all i heard was the canned response and no real indication that fmc has placed any priority on fixing the unsafe condition. my hope is that you can "encourage" fmc to take this issue seriously and make the necessary parts available on an expedited basis. i do not know how many cars are subject to this recall, but i know that i do not feel comfortable driving my car on the street or highway where it can unexpectedly stall and potentially cause harm to me, my family, or some other innocent person. any "encouragement" you can provide fmc to resolve this issue in a more timely manner would be appropriate and appreciated. thank you. dave

While driving on a highway my vehicle 2014 ford focus se began to sputter. continues to do so until i got in the street on my home and began going under 10 mph. once i entered my home to put some items down before returning back out, i attempted to start my car. i noticed upon entry of my vehicle that my radio was on without my keys being in the ignition, also my driver door was still open. i attempted to start my vehicle but nothing happened, it didn't tick nor turn. what did happen though was my entire computer system began to cut on as if the vehicle had started and turned. radio on, dashboard lights present and then cut off, alert for my low tire, trip timer began running. then an error code regarding something in the lines of fuel. wasn't quick enough to take a picture of the error message. when i removed my key and called my sister to inform her that i may need a ride for myself and my 6 year old daughter, the dashboard needles jumped vigorously. while sitting. in the vehicle again, the computer system opened up and my trip timer began running and the radio. again without the keys in the ignition, they were in my lap. the entire night while my vehicle was stationary periodically my car would cut in and off, and engage without the keys in the ignition nor present near he car. consequently, the constant running of the vehicle by it self ran the battery dead as well. attempted to contact the ford dealership, where i purchased the vehicle, and check service and the technician was very rude and continuously interrupted me. when questioning regarding and open recall, 18s32, and mentioning that not only did i call the nthsa number but i also read the recall regarding my vehicle serviceman became even more rude and even disconnected the call.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and all the warning indicators illuminated. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. the vehicle was not repaired. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline). the manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to nhtsa. the approximate failure mileage was 64,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline). while driving various speeds or while the vehicle was idling, it would stall without warning. the vehicle was taken to ford of kendall (305-238-9211, located at 15551 s dixie hwy, miami, fl 33157), but the parts were not available. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 39,000. vin tool confirms parts not available.

1.) while in driving motion my car acts like it stalls or gets stuck in a gear or has a problem shifting. 2.) while in reverse motion my car sometimes wants to act like it can't go in reverse, like i can't back up or drive. i restart the car sometimes & then it's fine.

This vehicle has had door issues where the door would open unexpectantly, the transmission has caused hydroplaining and has also caused the car to stall on the freeway. even though they fixed the transmission the problem has returned and insist on being a continual issue. now there is an additional recall for december and that is cpv. when i contacted ford in order to have a refund or be able to return the car and switch it out for something else... i was told no there wasn't an option to do so. is this true that i have to just continue going along with the car and continue to have these types of issues through the lifeblood of this vehicle?

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while operating the vehicle, the check engine indicator illuminated. while driving approximately 60 mph, the speed suddenly began to decelerate and the vehicle began to hesitate. the vehicle was taken to art hill ford (901 w. lincoln hwy, merrillville, in) who indicated that the failure was related to nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000(fuel system). the parts needed to repair the vehicle were not available. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 100,000. the vin was unknown.

Ford focus gas recall. part was supposed to be in for repair december 2018

Purchased used on 11/30/2018. while driving on freeway, car suddenly lost power, could not restart, had to pull to side of road and wait for assistance during heavy traffic. second time, same thing happened hile driving on freeway only i was able to continue at aprox. 15 mph to exit ramp and wait for assistance. same symptoms during in-town driving: stalling, won't restart, won't shift into next gear- stuck going 10-20 mph, check engine light on took in for diagnostics: obd code p902.

I took my car in for the issue regaring the recall for "the engine may stall due to a stuck canister purge valve (cpv) within the fuel vapor system" and my second transmission fix within 10,000 miles of the last transmission replacement. the first transmission module fix, my car was in the shop for 19 days. when i recieved my car back, my transmission was shuttering so bad and wouldnt accelerate and was stuck in a gear and would not break or speed up for a couple of seconds. when i tried to take the car back in, they told me that "they fixed the recalled issue so i would have to pay for the diagnostic." in november, i found out that from may to nov. i had been driving on a broken transmission clutch. in november, they finally put in a new transmission clutch, however dont have record of them checking for the recall on the fuel system. when i took my car in for work, they told me that it was going to take a couple of hours, then it turned into one to two days and put me in a rental, however didnt communicate with me about the status of my car. i called multiple times a day, however didnt recieve any details from my mechanic. on saturday, i called again and talked to the front desk agent. i told him that my car was supposed to be done the day prior and i hadnt recieved any update on my car. later that day, i finally recieved a voicemail stating that they had finished the transmission clutch, however found a oil leak and they "had been doing what best for me" and had been fixing it without communicating to me about it. my car stayed in the shop for an additonal 4 days to fix the oil leak. i ended up being charged for the rental car after i was told that everything was under warrenty and recall so i didnt have to pay for anything. i didnt even know that they were doing this work on my car until days prior. after more than a month, i am still dealing with this problem.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. after starting the vehicle, the engine suddenly stalled when the vehicle was shifted into drive. recently, the vehicle would not start and was towed to johnson brothers ford (7455 s. general bruce dr, temple, tx 76502) where it was diagnosed that the canister purge valve, fuel tank, and fuel pump needed to be replaced. the contact was informed that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel ststem), but the parts were not available. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 51,000.

We received a recall notice in october 2018 and the part needed to repair the issue is still not available 10 months later.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline). the contact called crossroads ford of south boston at 434-572-6926 (located at 1011 commerce ln, south boston, va 24592) and was informed that the parts were not available. while the vehicle was at a stop, it shut off without warning and then restarted. the manufacturer and the dealer were not notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was not provided. vin tool confirms parts not available.

I payed $372.24 for a fuel system problem i was having problems were engine was stalling, vapor managementvalve was replaced.now there is a recall that is not complete.why am i being chatged for this recall?i would come to a stop sign or a red light and my car would turn off.this is not first time i take my car to ford i also had to take it in for transmission recall.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact stated that nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. the contact received the recall notification in october of 2018. the contact called apple ford (1820 hwy 290 w, brenham, tx 77833) and was informed that the parts were unavailable. the manufacturer was also contacted and stated that the parts were unavailable. the contact had not experienced a failure. vin tool confirms parts not available.

When trying to accelerate, the vehicle will make a sort of stuttering, or have a delay in acceleration. sometimes i notice the rpms increasing without reason, almost as if it skips shifting maybe or has a delayed shift? i have not tried in "sport" mode to see if manually shifting solves the problem. i also have not been able to identify any other common things, such as a certain fuel level, internal or external temperature, or rate of intended acceleration, though i would not rule out anything. i have noticed this happening both in town driving and highway driving, the delay in acceleration or stuttering. there is also a distinct shudder that happens occasionally. i am not sure if it is an issue with fuel (flooding maybe? or a delay in fuel injection?) or an issue with the power train (any issue in the transmission with shifting?) or maybe an issue in speed control (a missed connection between the accelerator pedal or throttle control cables and the next step in the chain?). i just know that sometimes i need to accelerate to get in a spot in a line of traffic and when the car doesn't 'go' when i need it to and it shudders or has a stutter or delay, it causes the car i was getting in front of to have to brake and if they don't, then my children in the back seat are put at risk. this has happened multiple times, not just the date indicated.

Not sure why but car studurds going in to 1st gear and 2nd. fuel for this vehicle is consumed very fast.

The recall that hasn't been satisfied as of yet regarding the cpv has caused major issues with my car yet i can't get it fixed as the dealer replied saying it wasn't available yet when the recall was october 2019. i also believe i've had a faulty transmission and yet the dealer has also said they couldn't do anything about it.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while operating the vehicle, the fuel gauge displayed inaccurate information and indicated that more fuel was in the fuel tank than actually was in the tank. the vehicle was taken to don gasgarths ford (3156 tamiami trail, port charlotte, fl) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump was faulty was and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified and did not assist. the failure mileage was 40,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while driving 30 mph and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle began to hesitate. in addition, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and then to folsom lake ford (located at 12755 folsom blvd, folsom, ca 95630, (916) 353-2000) where the contact was informed that the failure was associated with nhtsa campaign numbers: 13v523000 (power train), 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline), and 16v643000 (latches/locks/linkages). the contact stated that the failure continued. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 120,000.

Car started stuttering power with in 3 months of having it. jerks and hesitates when accelerating. clutch assembly has been replaced 3 times. car only has 30,000 miles. sept of 2018 while crossing bridge without any warning car just stopped in mid drive! very scary! towed to ford. was charged for some malfunction??!! car is still shuttering and has difficulty getting to speed. filed complaint with ford back in 2016 that i didn't feel car was safe. no response! after this last incident i am afraid to drive very far for fear it will just stoop running mid drive. avoid all highways because of this

Pulled out of my parking spot and the vehicle started shuttering and lurching forward and then completely shut off. thought it was a dead battery but upon further inspection something is wrong with the fuel line. when i pour gasoline in, it comes right out of the bottom of the car.

Vehicle stalled while driving 60 mph causing a skid. then, would not restart. luckily, control was barely maintained and no one was injured

Radio keeps shutting off and making a crackling noise thru speakers, will not work for days at time and also going down road the car completely shut down and started back on it's own. the crackling noise is on going with or without key in ignition , also after filling all the way up with gas car doesn't want to start back up, safety light stays on

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. while driving, the fuel gauge dropped quickly without warning even when the vehicle had a full tank of fuel. the vehicle was taken to darcars ford lanham (located at 9020 lanham severn rd, lanham, md 20706, (301) 459-1100) where it was diagnosed, but a failure could not be found. the failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. the dealer diagnosed that the fuel canister seized, which damaged the fuel pump and caused the fuel tank to implode. both components needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 53,166.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford focus. the contact stated that there were multiple failures progressing without warning. the vehicle lost power and began to stall. in addition, the fuel gauge was not displaying the correct fuel amount. woody anderson ford (2500 jordan ln nw, huntsville, al 35810, (877) 315-0514) replaced the clutch assembly, but the vehicle continued to stall. the vehicle was also taken to more than one independent mechanic for diagnostic testing, but was not repaired. the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline), but it was unsure if the failures were related. the part for the recall repair was not available. the manufacturer was notified of the failures. the approximate failure mileage was 70,000. vin tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall there no sound for the radio the dash board for the radio is blank before it went blank it was making a lot of noisy

My car would stall when i was turning or driving, but at first i could turn it off and back on and it would run just fine. then my car started showing me that i had a full tank of gas when i didn't. i found out that the issue is the gas tank, a $450 fix. these plastic gas tanks are collapsing on itself, my friend had a 2012 focus and was told that the gas tank was shrinking and that it would keep shrinking until the gas tank was almost completely gone. this needs to be a recall!!!
