I have a 2017 ford f-350 super duty. over the last two months i have had two situations during acceleration on a highway where the vehicle almost shakes/vibrates apart on the front end. i have reported the issue to ford two times now. when it first occurred in nov 2019 with 19k miles on it, they told me they never heard of this issue. when it happened again on the 29th of december i took it back into the dealer and mentioned that i almost lost control of the truck and the wife refuses to drive it on a highway. they admitted there is an issue. either my truck or their design is unsafe. massive wobble/vehicle vibration - if i was in a corner i would have been in an accident.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ford f-350. while accelerating from a stop, the middle and rear sections of the vehicle vibrated severely. the contact coasted the vehicle over to the side of the road and confirmed that the driveshaft was tight and secured. the vehicle was taken to crystal ford (located at 2440 nw, us-19, crystal river, fl 34428, (352) 795-7371) where it was diagnosed that the driveshaft was too long, the carrier bearing needed to be lowered, and the rear end needed to be shimmied done for the differential pinion angle. the vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: cas-21793867. the failure mileage was 18,443.
