Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford f350 with continental contitrac tires, line size lp275/65r18. the contact stated that while driving 65 mph the front passenger tire blew out after tired tread separated causing the vehicle to crash into a tree. no injuries were reported and a police report was filed. the vehicle was destroyed. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 28,000. ...updated 10/17/12 *bf the consumer stated ten miles before the front passenger tire blew out , the front driver's side tire tread separated and was replaced with a spare tire. the pick up (2011) and the fifth wheel trailer (2012) that it was towing were both totaled. the driver had minor neck injury. both the driver and passenger had minor cuts from the passenger window which broke. updated 10/17/2012 *js

Bought new ford f350 in june 2011, in september 2011 tires starting to delaminate, specifically loosing chunks on tire tread on all four tires. ford dealership replaced tire with same tires. six. months later the same above problem occurred. this time ford dealership did not replace tires and is waiting for tire manufacture to replace tires.tire identification michelin 275/65r20 dot b70t 003x 1011 *js

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford f350 equipped with continental conti trac radial tr tires (na), tire size 275/70/18. while driving approximately 35 mph, the rear driver side tire exploded. the contact replaced the defective tire with a spare. the tire was not replaced. the contact referenced the recall associated with nhtsa campaign id number: 11t002000 (tires: tread/belt) yet the dot number of the tires (a31546u03510) was not included in the recall. the failure mileage was approximately 8,500.
