We have classified the 4 complaints from 2002 Ford F-350 about SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC into the following categories.
Failure of the clutch master cylinder resulted in a stalled vehicle in the number 1 lane of i-80w out of sacramento, ca. very heavy labor day traffic prevented an accident. (stop and go traffic). as a result of the failure, the truck wouldn't shift into gear after the gear shift lever was placed in neutral. *tr
When applying the brakes the steering locked without warning. the dealer stated there was no fix. *jb a special service message was sent out which stated increased steering effort at low speed or while stopped was a normal condition with hydroboost or vacuum operated brakes. *jb
While driving/braking low speeds, the consumer can hear/see the front passenger side brakes dragging/squeaking noise. the dealerships mechanic inform the consumer that the problem was pertaining to the brake caliper bolt failure , but did not resolve the problem. please provide more information
While driving vehicle at any speed and apliying the brake vehicle will pull to the right and the steering wheel will be hard to control. dealear has inspected and could not duplicated or correct the problems. please provide further information. ts
At low speeds when applying brakes, steering wheel would lock up. dealer has inspected vehicle and changed rack and pinion. however, problem was not corrected. dealer put old parts back on vehicle. *ak *yd
