One week ago left work and turned on truck. when starting to pull out of parking space abs light came on dash. after getting home and calling dealer to have inspection, was informed it would be 2 weeks to get in for service. as vehicle is daily driver continued to drive around town and to work, a few days after regular use steering column started getting harder to turn and developed clicking sound. called another mechanic to get in sooner and before could make that appointment scheduled for two days later entire steering column locked up and vehicle is unusable. being towed to repair shop today. luckily was not driving when column locked up. had started vehicle in driveway and was planning on going to store when unable to back up because steering columns/wheel would not move. now awaiting work from repair shop on doagnsostics and issue to repair. very frustrated as vehicle less than 3 years old and with only 70k miles.

I hit some ice on the interstate and lost control. i ran off the road doing between 45 & 50 mph. i went downhill for around 100 yards and hit a tree. the tree centered the bumper and the air bags did not deploy.

I was traveling straight in my f-150 on a main road in the 30-40mph range when another vehicle (2006 chevy 2500 pickup) darted across traffic trying to go from one parking lot to another. i struck the other vehicle (t-boned) on the passenger side front and back doors. my foot was jamming the brakes at the time of collision. the impact was significant and caused a good amount of damage to the front of my f-150. the seat belt actuator fired off to lock me in place but the air bag did not deploy. i don't understand how/why the airbag did not deploy in this instance.

Airbags did not deploy when i t-bones a vehicle speed was around 45 miles an hour i was driving down s. 2nd st. in raton new mexico approaching herford avenue when a vehicle pulled out in front of me i tried stopping but i could not i t-bones the vehicle the airbags on my truck did not deployi did have a police report done and both insurance companies were involved i do not have the repair cost or if they're going to total my truck i will have to get back to you guys on that

Tl* takata recall. the contact owned a 2016 ford f-150. while driving 15 mph, the contact crashed into the rear of another vehicle that was making a left turn. the other vehicle spun around and crashed into a third vehicle. the air bags did not deploy. the contact's vehicle was totaled and towed. there were no injuries. a police report was filed. the dealer (mark mclarty ford, 4400 landers rd, north little rock, ar 72117, (501) 945-1200) was contacted and suggested calling the insurance company. the manufacturer was not contacted. the air bag failure was not diagnosed. the failure mileage was 40,000.

'takata recall' i was rear ended by a vehicle traveling at about 45 mph that vehicle got totaled the whole front end was destroyed car had to be towed but my f150 did not deploy the airbags at such a violent collision???

Truck has re-occurring frequent episodes of center control panel does not function - when this occurs- radio does not work - no heater -window defroster or a.c / windows can not be rolled up or down - air bag indicator is not working - so don't know if the air bags would deployed if an accident should occur .the truck has been to 1 dealer which said it was a soft wear issue and claimed to fix it .. lasted less than 50 miles and back to square one ,, sitting at the second dealer which states it not doing it now ,, so come and pick it up , they ran a diagnostics and no default codes were found . this is not resolving the issue . if you cant tell me what you did to fix it ..the issue remains unresolved .. a safety issue for all occupants in the cab of the truck .. if the air bags fail to deploy because of the issue stated in this complaint is not addressed by the ford motor company.. i have been in contact with the ford relationship - personnel - and now awaiting for a call from the regional officer ...the truck is still under factory warranty and ford is required to fulfill there obligation to the consumer and fix default product..

I have a 2016 f150 with issues similar to nhtsa complaint id# 10127407. the problems are not intermittent, the part has failed & is not available from ford at this time. the air conditioning quits completely & you cannot run the fan at all. you cannot roll down any windows in the vehicle & the vehicle gets well over 90 degrees inside while driving. this is a huge safety issue because when this doesn't work it also disables the airbags of the vehicle, cross traffic alert as well as tire pressure monitor failure along with other safety features. the seats no longer retract or move forward when the vehicle is started/shutoff. the key fob intermittently will not lock the doors of the vehicle & the alert on the truck says key not found. with the warm temperatures and no way to roll down the windows or turn on the ac or a blower fan makes this vehicle extremely unsafe to operate.

5/25/2018 - head on collision. i was a passenger. our vehicle going 25 mph uphill. striking vehicle going est 60+ mph coming down hill collided head on with us. no fatalities but 3 injured. seat belts locked correctly. drivers side airbag deployed and the passenger (my side) airbag did not. driver of the vehicle striking us heavily inebriated. one of the firemen, when opening passenger door, commented about plastic pieces in the airbag area.

Air bags did not deploy during a collision! collision occurred when the other vehicle made a left turn in front of my truck. my vehicle was traveling 50-55 mph on the 2 lane road. the collision was a "t-bone", again, none of the airbags deployed. request a written response to this complaint.
