Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. the contact stated that while driving at 45 mph, the vehicle down shifted to 1st gear without warning. the contact was able to safely guide the vehicle off of the roadway. the vehicle was restarted but failed to resume normal operation. the vehicle was driven to kindle ford-lincoln 525 stone harbor blvd, cape may court house, nj 08210 (609) 465-5000) to be diagnosed. the result was inconclusive. a transmission flush was performed however, the failure recurred. the vehicle then was taken to (ciocca ford of quakertown service center1531 park ave, quakertown, pa 18951(800) 737-0963) where it was determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was informed of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 68,000.
I purchased this truck new in march 2015. i have had it serviced according to manufacturer recommendations every 5,000 miles. both front brake lines have recently burst with no warning, as follows: - on 1 may 2019, when the truck had 105,488 miles on it, i pressed the brake pedal to stop at a city street red light. the pedal sunk to the floor causing the truck to enter the intersection amidst oncoming traffic. there was no warning light or sound before or after the failure. brake fluid gushed onto the ground from the right front brake. a ford service agent diagnosed the cause as a bulge in the right front brake hose where it met the caliper that had burst when i applied the brakes. this incident happened minutes after leaving the said ford service facility at which they had just performed a brake inspection and said all four brakes looked new and the vehicle was in good condition. - on 11 december 2019, when the truck had 113,089 miles on it, while the truck was parked, i put my foot on the brake pedal to start the truck. the brake pedal sank to the floor. again, there was no warning light or sound before or after the failure. i looked under the truck and saw brake fluid gushing out of the front left brake hose. a ford service agent diagnosed the cause as a rupture in the front left brake hose.
There was a recall for a brake booster master cylinder in may of 2016. we bought the truck used in dec 2017. the mileage was 35774 when the recall was done. we have been driving the truck and now the brake booster is out again. we replaced the front brakes thinking that was the problem but the booster started acting up again. after replacing the brakes, the pedal went to floor and had to be pumped to have brakes. i think they replaced it with yet another defective part. the truck is not driveable.
Husband was driving our 2014 f150 truck and was stopped at a stop light; brake pedal went completely to floor. when he got home, it was discovered that brake fluid was leaking from the front right compartment. confirmed with ford that our truck was not part of the recall 16s24, but was built in the dearborn plant during the same time frame as the trucks that were recalled and there is still a wide scope of vehicles that are not within the scope of the recall having the same issue. truck vin is [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
Master cylinder leaked into the brake booster causing brake failures. there is a recall on this but according to the ford website my vehicle is not part of that recall.
While driving on the freeway, brake fluid low light appeared followed by loss of brakes. had to use emergency brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of me. had vehicle towed to nearest ford dealership. mechanics stated that the brake fluid leaked internally between the booster and master cylinder.
Brake fluid level low alert received while driving. arrived at destination within one mile. upon return to vehicle one hour later and starting vehicle and reversing out of parking spot, the brake pedal went to floor when pressed and brakes did not work. moved gear shift to park and vehicle stopped. towed to ford dealer who advised that master cylinder and brake booster had failed. no external leakage occurred.
Recall 16v345000 was done on my vehicle after 30,000 miles exact issue has returned ford/dealership refuses to fix the failed recall fix. vehicle stopping distance is significantly longer than before front brakes do not work at all brake pedal falls to the floor.
Was driving and came to a stop light brake warning light lit on dash and pedal went to the floor. had to use emergency brake to come to a stop. very carefully tool back roads home as to not have to use brakes any more than needed. next morning found master cylinder leaking into brake booster. the f150 has 116,000 miles. if i wasn't driving this could have been a major wreck or serious injuries.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving 70 mph, the brake fluid warning indicator illuminated. the contact depressed the brake pedal, which failed to engage. the contact veered to the shoulder of the road and applied the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. when the contact turned the vehicle off and back on, it resumed normal operationg. the vehicle was taken to zeck ford (4501 s 4th st, leavenworth, ks 66048, (800) 394-1650) to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. the dealer stated that the brake master cylinder could possibly be the cause of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: cas-22333089. the failure mileage was approximately 81,000.
2013-2014 brake master cylinder leaking into the brake booster....my 2014 f150 has this same failure with 58k miles on the vehicle. it should be investigated and include this vehicle in the recall. my daughter was driving the vehicle this morning and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor when slowing to merge onto a us highway here in dagsboro, delaware 19939. windshield wiper/turn signal switch recall....this 2014 ford f150 has the same symptoms as those that fall under the recall notice whereas the windshield wipers will all of a sudden come on and you cannot get it to turn off. no matter if you are moving or not this can occur sporadically without warning.
I had use the truck all weekend, it was running fine, parked it in my driveway. started vehicle monday morning and got a warning light saying "brake fluid low". i've never seen this light in my life, let alone since owning this truck. pushed the brake pedal, and it went to the floor, there were no brakes. checked the reservoir, there was no fluid. called el cajon ford, in ca. told them i was having it towed in. in the meantime, got on line to research possible problems, found that there had been a recall for this exact problem. got to the dealership and the service advisor acknowledged there had been a recall, but said he would need to inspect the truck. called me back and confirmed this was the issue, but said my vin was not one of the recalled vehicles. same parts, same problem, but not covered. i called ford customer service and waited two days for them to determine they were not going to cover this problem. this is a factory defect, not to mention a safety hazard, that is acknowledged by ford, and they are not standing behind it. was told it was only certain vin made in certain plants. it's the master cylinder, that most likely made by one manufacturer and ships to all ford plants,
Master cylinder dumping brake fluid into brake booster causing vehicle to have no fluid in resivor and no brake pedal. there was a recall on some 2014 models. dealer who repaired mind said there is no open recall. i dont know if this was repaired before. this happened on highway 408 in florida. orlando area.
While driving to work i got a warning engine in my truck that indicated i had a problem with my brakes. i took it straight to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the problem. all of the brake fluid had leaked into the brake booster and had been burnt off in the engine. he told me that there was a recall, but i would have to check with ford. i took the truck to the dealership i purchased it from and was told that even though i had experienced the exact failure described in recall#16v345000, and even though my truck is the exact make & model included in the recall that my vin was not included and therefore would not be covered under the recall. my truck is 5 years old and only has 42k miles on it. ford is offering to replace the master cylinder & brake booster for a cost of $1032 +tax. with an independent mechanic's diagnosis and ford service departments same diagnosis that the failure and the make & model are identical, i do not understand why my truck is not covered under the recall and request a further investigation as to why ford is not responsible for the replacement of the failed components.
After taking a 100 mile trip truck was parked for 24 hours. as i started vehicle information screen showed a low brake fluid level and a brake warning light on. after exploring the master cylinder was extremely. after examining all brake lines and the ground for leaking fluid ther was none/wet spots any where.i went to a care store with a different vehicle i added 12 fluid ounces of dot 4 brake fluid. after testing the brakes depressing the brake pedal 4 or 5 times the pedal stayed very soft and depessed all the way to the floor. once again the master cylinder was empty of fluid wit absolutely no oil visible on the truck or on ground .had vehicle towed to a repair facility. i was told by the mechanic that master cylinder fail and all fluid accumulated in the booster pump. i am aware the ford has recalled 2013/2014 ff-150 with the 3.5 engine for the same problem..
Master brake cylinder failure. brakes failed and had to run through a stop light. same failure as ford recall 16s24
With 56000 miles on the vehicle, lost all brake fluid. attempted to drive and found almost no effective braking was possible. low brake fluid level came on just prior to parking the truck, brakes seemed normal. when i went to leave parking spot a few hours later, the brake pedal went to the floor.
After pulling out of the parking lot of the place we stayed and driving 1/2 mile on a 2 lane road, i attempted to pull over at a gas station for gas before getting onto the interstate. i noticed the brake pedal was very spongy and braking was barely responsive. the pedal was pressed to the floor and then the check brakes indicator message dinged on the truck's info display as i was slowly able to pull into the gas station. after using the e-brake to assist in bringing the truck to a stop, i placed the truck in park and raised the hood. i checked the brake fluid reservoir level and it was well below the minimum line and was close to completely empty. i crawled under the vehicle to visually inspect for leaks of any kind from the brake lines following them up to the brake booster and brake master cylinder with no presence of any leaking brake fluid. i added a total of 2 quarts of dot 4 brake fluid to the reservoir in the hopes that maybe the system was just low somehow. i drove the truck back to the park we had just left only a little over a half mile away and parked the vehicle as the braking was still greatly diminished. as it is the weekend, i have been unable to get the vehicle serviced. i have called the ford recall help line and was told that my truck was not included in the 2013-2014 f150 vehicle recall even though it is the 3.5 ecoboost model and was built using the identical brake components that were recalled by ford. based on the description of the brake master cylinder failure conditions indicated in the 16s24 ford recall and the conditions i am experiencing with my vehicle's brake failure, i am confident these conditions are related and the brake master cylinder has failed flooding the brake booster with brake fluid.
Rear seal on brake master cylinder failed and all fluid went into brake booster resulting in complete loss of brakes. this was a huge recall but did not cover my vehicle. emergency brake had to be used to stop the vehicle. i was on city street and narrowly avoided a crash at an intersection. vehicle was towed to mel hambleton ford in wichita ks. diagnosed there and currently being repaired for approximately $800. recall does not cover my vin number and there is no warranty.
Found the brake fluid to have suddenly leaked and lost complete control of the car's brakes system while driving. extremely dangerous and almost had the truck roll into a busy intersection while driving on a downhill street. no modifications have been performed to the truck's brake system and truck has been with low mileage (36000~). took it to my local ford dealer to fix and the same issue occurred that same week.
While driving, i had a "low brake fluid" light come on. when i approached the next intersection the brake pedal went almost all the way to the floor. i then pulled into a parking lot and the brakes failed completely having use the emergency brake to stop. i opened the hood and inspected the master cylinder and found that there was no brake fluid. i also noticed that when i removed the cap on the master cylinder the there was suction in the reservoir. my conclusion is that the master cylinder has failed and the brake fluid is being sucked into the brake booster. i called the ford dealer service department and was told that there was no recall on this vehicle.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving 2 mph, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard. the contact had to apply the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with nhtsa campaign number: 16v345000 (service brakes, hydraulic). the vehicle was towed to ken grody ford carlsbad (located at 5555 paseo del norte, carlsbad, ca 92008, (760) 438-9171) to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who replaced the master cylinder. the vehicle was not diagnosed. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 20,000. *tp
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving various speeds, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was depressed. the contact had to apply excessive force to stop the vehicle. the contact continued driving and later took the vehicle to mcfarland ford sales (located at 151 portsmouth ave, exeter, nh 03833, (603) 772-5953). the vehicle was test driven and the contact was informed that the front and rear brakes needed to be adjusted and the rotors needed to be turned. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact later took the vehicle to portsmouth chevrolet (located at 549 us-1 byp, portsmouth, nh 03801, (844) 299-6541) where the front and rear rotors were replaced with the air vent rotors. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failures and informed the contact that there was no recall on the vehicle. the approximate failure mileage was 22,500.
Low brake fluid light came on as i was coming off the freeway on the off ramp. pressed brakes and had no brakes. i had to use the parking brake to avoid smashing into vehicles at the stop light. after getting vehicle stopped into a parking lot. i looked up my vehicle for recalls. had a recall for brake master cylinder blowing fluid into the brake booster. took the car to my local ford dealer, and due to the miles, they gave me the impression my vehicle was not covered by the nhtsa recall and that they would have to get authorization to fix the vehicle, otherwise i'd have to pay for it. (never knew recalls were subject to mileage)
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 f-150. while driving 70 mph, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard and the vehicle failed to stop. the emergency brake was engaged to stop the vehicle and the low brake fluid warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to five star ford lewisville (1144 n stemmons fwy, lewisville, tx 75067, 469- 470-4900) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder and brake booster needed to be replaced. the manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. the contact stated that the failure should be included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v345000 (service brakes, hydraulic). the failure mileage was 163,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving 35 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. the vehicle failed to respond and the brake warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the master cylinder and booster needed to be replaced. the contact called nick nicholas ford inc (2901 fl-44, inverness, fl 34453, (352) 726-1231) and was referred to the manufacturer. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. the failure mileage was 88,030.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving approximately 40-50 mph, the vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. the vehicle was taken to crown ford (located at 256 swain st, fayetteville, nc 28303, (910) 920-9614) where it was diagnosed that the driveshaft needed to be replaced, and the brake calipers, rear brake drums, front brake pads, and front brake rotors needed to be resurfaced. the vehicle was repaired; however, the failures were still evident. the manufacturer was not notified of the failures. the approximate failure mileage was 158,000.
Driving in the new orleans french quarter, audible warning tone and visual indicator said "brake fluid low". added one container of brake fluid, proceeded 1/2 mile. again, audible warning and visual indicator showed low brake fluid. added fluid to line in container. 1 mile, same indicators. upon inspection, all brake fluid has leaked into the brake booster. no visible leak or fluid on the ground. this could have caused a serious accident. there is a recall on this for the same year vehicle but it supposedly does not include this vin #. apparently it should.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. when the vehicle was started, the brake warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was turned off and restarted; however, the warning indicator reappeared. also, the brake pedal was depressed and went straight to the floorboard. the vehicle was towed to jim hudson ford (located at 1201 w main st, lexington, sc 29072, 803-359-4114) where it was diagnosed that the brake booster needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v345000 (service brakes, hydraulic). the manufacturer was not contacted. the approximate failure mileage was 49,000. the vin was not available.
Driving down the highway, trying to change lane to exit the road, press on my brakes to slow down, then my brakes light came on, saying iam low on brake fluid, and my breaks dont work, the pedal went al the way down to the flood. put on my hazards light on, and let the truck slow down to an exit, very slow to stop while driving. found out there a recall on my truck, call ford #, they tell me that the truck had been service before in 2016, and there only one recall fix per vehicle. so iam out luck, the brake booster and master cylinder have to be replaced again..at my own expense...
We were leaving to get lunch, came up to a stop sign at about 30mph with a car coming downhill on the road we were getting ready to take. i attempted to use my brakes to stop at the stop sign, i was unable to stop and had lost my brakes. there was a grinding noise and my foot that was on the brake was fully pressed. we rolled through the stop sign, cutting off the car. i found the brake booster, vacuum / master cylinder to be an issue after taking it to a mechanic and dealership. this was the second time i've had these parts replaced with about 9,000 miles difference between the two instances (the first instance was unreported to nhtsa). ford was contacted but i was informed there was nothing that could be done due to my state's (ohio) lemon law.
Advancetrac service keeps coming on and steering and brakes begin pulsing and shaking and can't hardly turn , has happened when going straight and when turning while going from 35 to 70 mph on highway or side street. only 19000 miles
I experienced a total failure of the brakes system. the brake light was not on and only came on later. the oil reservoir was totally empty and a even with a quart of oil added the reservoir is still empty with no visible leak. i was lucky to be able to stop the truck in a snow bank and no damage occur. i contacted ford and was told that my truck was not on the recall list but according to the recall (2013-2014 f-150 3.5liters) i ask why but got no answer.
When pushing on brakes after stopping, the pedal becomes soft and goes farther down. this has happened several times when stopping at a traffic light, stop sign, and trying to park on driveway.
Failed master cylinder dumped all brake fluid into booster, resulting in complete loss of braking. only the parking brakes still work, and they perform terribly. occurred without notice during highway driving.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while the vehicle was parked in the carport, the contact noticed that the rear passenger side tire was flat. the contact called roadside assistance to the house and they determined that the lug nuts were severely rusted and four of them had to be broken in order to have the spare tire installed. the vehicle was driven to vicksburg ford lincoln (2431 n frontage rd, vicksburg, ms 39180), but the refused to repair the vehicle because the lug nuts were severely rusted. the vehicle had to driven back to the contact's residence and repaired by an independent mechanic. in addition, the contact heard a noise coming from the rear wheels while driving. the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that all four wheels and the rotors, brake pads, and ball joints needed to be replaced due to rust and corrosion. the manufacturer was not notified of the failures. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 63,000.
During a stop on city street at approximately 15 mph, the antilock braking system engaged on dry pavement for no reason but then lost all braking and ran into rear of a stopped vehicle.
The bolts that hold the front brake caliper mounting brackets to the front spindle on both sides of the truck will come out on you, and it causes the caliper, and the caliper mounting bracket to come off on you.in my case, it came completely off once while backing up, and the other side came completely off while driving down the road. i still had somewhat back brakes left to get stopped. however, it sounded like the whole front end was coming out of it. i honestly thought the 4 wheel drive transfer case and transmission was falling out of it, due to the noise it made, and the jerking, jumping and wobbling it done when it came loose. had i of been in rush hour traffic on the freeway, it would have caused a wreck if i would have had to stop quickly. i was lucky one come off while backing out of my driveway, and the other came off driving in my neighborhood going 20 mph. this was a scary situation due to it being a sudden event, with no warning what so ever each time it done it. i never would have thought a new truck would have a problem such as this, because it is basically the brakes falling off of it.
Driving down the interstate at 70 mph, the "check brake system" warning flashed on the dash. i went to push the brake pedal and it was locked in place. i physically could not depress the pedal, not even enough to disable the cruise control. i had to switch cruise off on the wheel, shift to neutral, and coast to a stop on the shoulder of the highway. shut the truck down, turned back on and the code disappeared and my brakes worked again. later that day, the exact same thing happened on the interstate again. physically could not depress the brake pedal. it was like it was locked in place and i could not bring the truck to a stop. i took my truck into the dewey ford in ankeny, ia a couple nights later and they began diagnostics. 4 days later, they could not reproduce the problem, and advised me to come pick up the truck. nothing against the dealer, as they cannot fix what they can't reproduce, and they were kind enough to provide a loaner and a discount on the diagnostics fee, but ford corporate really needs to get involved on this safety concern. i've tried calling their customer service, but they will do nothing until it can be diagnosed. if the dealer can't find the problem, then ford needs to send a product support representative to diagnose it themselves. as of today, my truck has done this 4 times since leaving dewey, but always when i am too far from their store to drop it off. at this point, im scared to drive my truck in traffic or with passengers. please use your powers to relay this to ford as we have a serious problem that they are ignoring. i have a receipt from the dealer for the diagnostics if a copy of this is needed for my complaint.
Sometime the truck steering wheel shakes when i step on the brakes to stop and this has been on going from the time that i bought the truck brand new
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while reversing the vehicle, the brake pedal became stuck to the floorboard. the contact drove the vehicle back onto the driveway, inspected the vehicle, and found that the brake fluid was leaking through the brake lines. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle's warranty was expired. the approximate failure mileage was 26,000. *dt*jb
At 61,000 miles, while driving on the highway, my master cylinder suffered a sudden catastrophic failure (total brake fluid leak). this resulted in required replacement of entire front braking system at dealership.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford f-150. while driving approximately 20 mph, the brake system failed and there was a complete loss of brake pedal functionality. the contact engaged the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. the vehicle was repaired, but the diagnosis was not provided. autonation ford arlington (1400 interstate 20 west, arlington, tx 76017, (817) 200-4503) referenced nhtsa campaign number: 16v343000 (service brakes, hydraulic) as a possible cause of the failure. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 45,000. *tt updated 11/20/18*jb
While driving the driver was driving on the interstate, the car in front of him stopped. when the driver went to apply his brakes, the pedal went to the floor and he had no control of the brakes. he was able to avoid collision by pulling to the side of the road. the truck had to be towed to a dealership to be repaired. it was determined the brake booster and master cylinder failed and required replacement. although we have several other 2014 f-150s that were included in recall 16s24, this one, we were told, was not. however, i believe it should have been.
The brakes suddenly went out while i was driving. i learned that the brake fluid in the master cylinder had leaked into the brake booster. there is no warning and it happens suddenly. in researching this, i learned there are thousands of ford f150s that have the same problem.
Was at wendy's drive through after grocery shopping and brake light came on thought brake fluid was just low. by the time i was almost home maybe 2-3 miles away i had no brakes at all pedal went all the way to floor. when traveling around 50 miles an hour and you realize you have no brakes it's a very scary situation. i was able to get truck stopped but wasn't sure if it actually would. per looking online other people with same model ford trucks have experienced same exact issue where brake fluid leaks from master cylinder into brake booster causing brake failure. very very dangerous ford should issue recall!
Brake booster and brake master cylinder failed. recall part on f150 with an eco boost but i have same vehicle with 5.0 engine and same part failed. need help as this safety part is recalled on some models.
I was driving about 35 mph and coming to a red light. i pressed the brake peddle and it went all the way to the floor. there was a warning chime and the dash illuminated a brake service warning and a low brake fluid level warning. there were virtually no brakes and i had to down shift the transmission and use the emergency brake to come to a stop, just in time before going through the intersection under a red light. we had the truck towed to a ford dealership and they stated that all of the fluid in the master cylinder had leaked into the brake booster. they said that our truck did not meet the proper date to be taken care of under the known recall (nhtsa recall #16v-345, ford recall #16s24) for the exact same problem. that recall ended on trucks built up to 8/14 and our truck was built on 12/14. we had to have the master cylinder and brake booster replaced under our extended warranty with only 22,901 miles on our truck. this was a catastrophic brake failure (virtually no brakes) with zero warning. if there had been traffic or if i would have been going any faster, this could have been an extremely dangerous brake failure. we are very concerned that the replacement parts are the exact same sub-standard and dangerous parts that had catastrophically failed. the dealership was not able to provide information that this very dangerous issue had been addressed and that redesigned parts had been installed in my truck. we feel that our truck needs to be included in the recall and that we need information on what was done with this problem to insure that it does not happen again.
On the night of july 12 2018, i took my wife and my 3yr old to a store in my 2014 f150 with only 37,300 miles, everything felt normal on the truck with no indications of any mechanical problems. on our way back home while on the highway at about 65mph i put my foot on the brake to slow down for a merging car and my foot went clear to the floor board and no brakes what so ever, at the same time a warning came on the dash that said 'brake fluid level low'. this could have ended horrible if it would have been around rush hour. luckily there was light traffic and i was able to stop the truck with the transmission and emergency brake. after this was over i checked the brake cylinder and it was empty, i know it was full but there were no signs of leaks, after filling it back up i took it for a drive and in just 2 miles it was empty again with mo brakes. the tech at the ford dealer said the master cylinder and brake booster went out and that the fluid leaked into the booster. this didnt just put my life in danger, it was also my wife and 3yr old and any driver around me. how does a truck loose something as important as the brakes at only 37,000 miles?
The brake fluid was completely drained on my 2014 f-150 super crew 3.5 ecoboost truck. while this meets a recall for the vehicle year and engine type, my vin was not included. the vehicle only has 46000 miles and the brakes were completely shot. very scary situation and could have ended horribly. luckily i got it to a ford dealer. issue is a leak in the master cylinder and brake booster. i was in motion and the brakes stopped working. i pushed the brakes to the floor and slowly rolled to a stop and would have continued without a parking curb stopping my progress. thankfully i was not on a highway but in a parking lot when this happened.
