There is a shaking and vibration transmitted thru the brake pedal and steering wheel when ever the brakes are applied. this happens only when the brakes are applied during stopping. according to the ford dealership this is a problem with f150's. turning the rotators helps for awhile.

My tire spec and pressure label is incorrect, cold psi is shown at 55 psi front and 60 psi rear and the tpms shows low pressure if under 55 and 60. all local ford service advisers say it should be 35psi. i have been complaining of vibration issues since i bought the truck and feel this has put myself and my family at risk not to mention the premature wear on my tires and suspension components.

Driving down road and lost power steering. took all my strength to steer truck. pulled over and discovered also lost turn signal, headlights didn't work. two messages came up, check traction control and low battery power save mode. might of been other things not working but didn't check for anything else. drove it to ford dealer. again took all my strength to turn steering wheel. was driving down straight road about 20 mph. very lucky didn't happen on corner or when wife driving it.

Electronic steering module failed rendering the vehicle unable to streer.

Loss of power steering while moving at highway speeds. power steering returns and fails off and on repeatedly. vehicle was recalled for this specific problem, but did not include this particular vehicle. steering also fails on city streets and comes off and on with no defined pattern. must be man handled to be steered. *tr

While pulling a trailer after 100 mile trip down a major highway, my power steering and brakes stopped working . after taking it to the dealer ive learned the power steering reservoir is inferior, causing cavitation. in other words the fluid over heats and causes pump failure.

Traveling at low speed and turning at an intersection, the vehicle lost all power steering resulting in running off the road. no damage to the vehicle or injuries were incurred. the vehicle on had 43,000 miles. i was told by the local dealer that the vehicle was not listed on a recall list but that they had been having a lot of problems with this issue. the steering gear assembly was replaced by the dealer.

Steering wheel turned and key did not. got key to turn and as vehicle was pulled out of parking stall the steering column locked up and would not turn.

I was driving my truck when the "service advancetrac" light came on. the steering became sluggish. the next day, my wife was driving the truck with the children inside, when the power steering assist completely went out, became nearly impossible to steer and made very loud, almost screeching noises when trying to turn the wheel. this resulted in my family nearly crashing in the truck. this was while driving on the paved highway/roadway.

While backing up the truck, the power steering went completely out. there were no previous signs of any trouble. this occurred at 53,000 miles. several codes began to flash on the console such as power steering fault and check traction control, etc. after towing it to the dealership they later called and said the steering gear was bad. in order to replace it, it is necessary to have an alignment also which bring the cost to approx. $1600. if this had happened while driving on the highway i feel most certain i would have either run into someone or wrecked the vehicle.

As as i exiting i-95 onto an off ramp in a 2014 f-150 (going about 45mph at the time of breaking) i started to brake in order to slow to an appropriate speed to make a slight right curved turn. within 1-2 seconds, my steering locked up, and the tires began to screech. i was unable to control my steering and the brakes did not seem to respond to the amount of pressure i was putting on the break pedal. while i did eventually stop, i would have definitely rear ended someone if they were in front of me. thankfully i had an open lane. once i was completely stopped, the car returned to normal operation and i was able to pull over and inspect my vehicle. i was unable to find anything that would signal an issue, so i drove it home and called the dealership. they told me there was nothing they could do if the system was not registering any errors and the truck was (currently) performing normal. additionally, about 1 month prior, as i was accelerating and then began to brake due to a stop light change, the brake petal began to vibrate and the car made a 3 second grinding sound untill i let off the brake, and again performed normally thereafter.

I backed out of a space at a fla turnpike svc plaza. then as i pulled forward at 3 mph, i turned to the right. at that moment the steering column torqued hard to the right and the truck became elevated 12 or more inches just on the left hand side. after a minute the steering column came to a normal position and the truck settled into a normal stance. at the dealer today, the next day. *tr

Warning lights came on dash about stability or traction control, no 4x4 lights were showing even though i had it in four wheel drive. within seconds i could not control my truck in the snow and the steering would not allow me to change my course of direction. this truck acted like it was not in four wheel drive. my truck slammed/slid sideways into a curb on the rotary by my home causing $2129.19 damages to tires and rims and front end parts. after i hit the curb the 4x4 light was showing as was the traction control lights and i was able to steer my truck and keeping it from dropping over an embankment. my speed was 15 miles per hour as i came towards the rotary. i contacted ford and received a call back 11/6/14 stating that i needed to go through my insurance and that my insurance company was welcome to subrogate this with ford legal counsel. the woman that called would not answer any question about what this all meant just that i needed to deal with my insurance company over and over. *tr
