Tl* the contact owns a 2009 ford expedition xlt. the contact stated that vehicle was a police vehicle and when driving at high rates of speeds with the brake pedal depressed it would act as it was locked. in order to release it he would had to apply extreme pressure to the pedal. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who advised him that the stability control was active and had to be shut off in order for the brakes to release easily. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
