My advance trac light was intermittently on, now it is on constant, the vehicle even shifts into 4x4 when it is not needed (dry roads). *tr

My 2004 ford expedition has had a problem since we bought it from the dealer. the advancetrac will engage on dry surfaces and smooth roads. it will happen anytime of year when the road is dry and should have no reason for turning on. i almost crashed october 31 2007, the abs turned on and i could not steer, i slowly came to a stop in on the wrong side of the road. it was hard to stop while the abs was still engaged the whole time. i then turned off the advancetrac and i drove right to the dealer and told them to fix it. i have taken this car in many times to phil long ford they could never get the car to engage for them. it has happened more than i ever want to count. they have replaced a couple of different things but it still has this problem. thank you for your time!! *tr
