Vehicle coolant warning indicates coolant low. water pump replaced in 2016 related to this issue. issue persisted in late 2017/early 2018 where warning frequently indicates coolant low, sometimes accompanied by check engine light. car serviced and no leaks or issues with engine were identified. september 2018 coolant warning came on and coolant was replaced. while driving, three miles down the road, coolant warning signaled and engine overheating warning signaled immediately thereafter. car began to shut down as the car was pulled off of the road. cary crossroads ford service identified internal leak with coolant leaking into the cylinder head of the engine possibly due to a cracked head or block. issue requires a full engine replacement.
Display will read engine fault service now and then the car will seem like it restarts, it will next read transmission not in park, this will happen while i'm driving 75 mph down the freeway. i took the car into the ford dealership and they replaced the wiring harness that was recalled, but it didn't fix the issue.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the failure recurred numerous times. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed or repaired. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 98,422.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving approximately 45 mph, the "add coolant to system" message appeared. the contact drove to hansel ford (3075 corby avenue, santa rosa, ca 95407) where it was diagnosed that there was a coolant leak at the heater hose and heater core, which needed replacement. the contact also stated that the vehicle required coolant to be added ever since 2014, which was currently a weekly occurrence. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and issued case number: cas-15524590. the approximate failure mileage was 73,187.
On 8/29/2018 i felt like my was losing power while driving home from work. on 8/30/18 my engine completely stalled out and lost power in the middle of the road while i was driving home from work. both times my check engine light never came on. i was able to restart my vehicle after my engine lost power on 8/30/18, and i drove it to the nearest repair place. i'm lucky that it did start back up because i was not in a safe place to leave it. i put my flashers on and began honking so that cars behind me would take notice and avoid crashing into me. i am also lucky that it did not die while driving on the freeway! the repair place told me that they took it out for a test drive to try and figure out what was wrong with it and it died again in the middle of the road while the technician was driving it.
Two issues ' sometimes one would follow the other. vehicle has less than 94,000 miles on it. auto loses coolant frequently without any visible leaks. have to replace/add coolant every couple weeks, sometimes more frequently. vehicle would display low coolant sign and within minutes the "high temperature, please pull over safely" sign would show and temperature gauge would rise to the top and car would go into limp mode. issue happened in different driving conditions - twice on highway, which could have been dangerous had there been a car directly behind me. two local auto shops pointed out same recalls/tsb's and said the car should be taken to dealer. i took my car to two dealers and they said there were no recalls and could give me no valid solution to my issue. (eventually one dealer said i had a blown head gasket and blown engine and that the car was undrivable and wanted $6500 to replace them ' so we had the car towed to a local auto shop and they said the gasket/engine were just fine.).
1. mis-firing causing the entire vehicle to rock, seen mainly when the engine is in gear with the break engaged at a stop signal. 2. sudden over-revving seen on the tachometer. 3. the over-revving usually precedes the engine temperature spiking into the critical area. this is most likely to happen on inclines. pulling over, shutting down the engine allowing it to cool down for 10-15 minutes, then everything is fine. i have learned to watch for the over-revving, then apply the brake to stop the over-revving. then has allowed me to keep the over-heating in check.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. the contact stated that the check engine warning indicator illuminated while driving 35 mph. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who determined that the eco booster failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 105,037.
I have driven this 2013 escape for 2.5 years. we have 34,838 miles on it. in the past year the following issues have arisen. 1) heat sensor has gone bad, warning lights and bells signaling a serious problem, as the car shuts down. car will not start. replaced twice in 8 months. 2) left passenger door will not close - latch issue as stated in nhtsa recall 16v643. 3) in the past two weeks, the car will stall without any warning. not overheating. computer diagnostics show no problem. this has happened while driving on the highway, residential driving with frequent stop signs, pulling onto the highway, in parking lots, a short trip usually does not produce the problem, however, if we are running errands and make more than one (1) stop, we will definately experience the stall during the drive home. car will coast to a stop, no indication from gauges of any engine issues. car hesitantly restarts. we proceed with extreme caution, as we do not know when it will stall again, and in what traffic situation. it is at the dealer to have 3 recalls addressed, and they will 'determine' if they can identify the reason for the stall. i have taken the car to another mechanic, who did not get to drive the car until a few hours after i dropped it off. of course, diagnostic testing produced no results and the mechanic drove the car once, for ten minutes - stall did not occur. noted that this issue has been record with nhtsa 40 times, and a recall has not been issued. this is a safety hazard. in response to question below, "when did this happen?", i am provided the most recent date: 08/19/2018. (it happens daily). i contact the dealer last week and was told to bring it in 08/20.
Vehicle started to catch on fire due to previously serviced recall that wasn't done correctly . driving down the road, car started making crazy noise and smoking bad . there was coolant in it and it was not leaking. vehicle starts alerting ' pull over safely car overheating ' during routine drives even when coolant is full . this time it was practically on fire . car is undriveable and ford will not help us . they say because it was previously serviced they aren't unable to assist any further . now we are out of a vehicle and ford is refusing any responsibility .
Engine hesitates, stumbles, or loses power. the check engine light will be illuminated. have replaced ecoboost sensor and still have the same problems. i do not feel that it is safe to drive this car.
Tl* the contact owned a 2013 ford escape. while driving 70 mph, the temperature gauge increased and the engine overheating warning indicator illuminated. the contact also noticed smoke under the hood. the contact pulled the vehicle over to the shoulder as flames appeared under the hood. the fire department was called and extinguished the fire. a fire report was filed. there were no injuries. the vehicle was destroyed and towed to a tow lot. neither the manufacturer nor the dealer was contacted. the failure mileage was 60,000. **tr *tr
Coolant has had to be replaced for a year and a half, about every other month or so. several different diagnostic checks revealed nothing, no leaks, no damage. vehicle shut down while driving 3 days ago due to potential overheat. dealer says engine is now damaged due to coolant leaking into it over time and must be replaced. ford customer service says there are no recalls and the 5 year power train warranty is expired by a few months. no help from them or the dealer. this was a full on safety issue with my daughter driving, and we never knew it.
Vehicle was just started after sitting all night and it had a very rough idle with white smoke and the smell of coolant. it sounded like it was going to die out and stall. it has been draining coolant like it's its addiction. the codes for the cylinder 3 misfire and the temperature sensor/overheating condition are detected and permanent. while driving it has overheated 3 times within the past month. spark plugs and coils packs are brand new. spark plug #3 cross threaded from factory, it took 4 days to change it.
Bushing cable detached from the shifter cable during driving in clutchless automatic mode, leaving car in neutral and unable to change gears or park. rolled into a parking lot (by god's grace). waited 2 hours with foot on brake as the emergency brake held but since i was on a hill was worried for the safety of those around me. towed to ford dealership. researched the already stated safety recall and they refuse to fix it unless it is at my own expense of almost $1000. nhtsa recall number 18v471.
My vehicle was going 45 mph in motion down the highway and the check engine light came on. about 4 miles down the road my car flashed the "engine overheating" signed and within 5 seconds the car came to a stop and stall in limp mode. this is not safe especially since i was on a highway, and where i live there are highways every where that take me where i need to be. took to ford dealer a mile or so down the road, and they tested it for everything and they sent me on my way with no work done, just conducted a road test after resetting the codes and light did not come back on. about 15 miles later, the car did the exact same thing again on the same highway, going 45, check engine light came on and the car went into limp mode again. took to the ford dealer next day and told me that the standpipe is malfunctioning causing the overheating in the engine cooling system. but, fixing this piece does not fix the problem. my car was fixed for this same issue in 2014, by the 13s12. and yet, this issue is happening again. i do have the 2013 ford escape with the 1.6l engine that has frequently dealt with this problem. driving this car is very unsafe due to the car abruptly stopping if this problem happens, the car stalls and can easily overheat. as the dealer has only suggested installing a new coolant level sensor (standpipe) with new hardware and software, we see that this problem has not worked in previous 2013 ford escapes. having this car on the road is a safety hazzards. with over 3 pages of my ford escape alone with factory recalls, this car should not be allowed on the road. i hope this gets fixed, or at least a recall for this car or an investigation is put in action. this car is not safe in any terms or conditions and i do not want this causing any potential fatalities.
My vehicle has had issues the last year. it started with a coolant leak that came out of no where which stalled my car because a warning came up stating it was too hot. i just added coolant and it seemed to be fine, a few months later the same thing happened again and my engine light came on, i took it to a mechanic and they replaced the spark plugs and coils. it seemed to be fine for a few months but i was constantly having coolant issues and having to add more. it became more frequent and i was going through one gallon of coolant a week. the car would stalled all the time with my kids in the car but as soon as i opened the reservoir to add more it fill almost completely back up. i took it to ford and the quoted me $7,100 to fix the problem and said i needed a new engine due to a warped head gasket. he also told me that he would not take my money because this was a known issue and they knew what the problem was by my description before even running any tests, they also said it could likely happen again. i started doing my research and realized that this year make and model of my vehicle had multiple recalls for this very problem but looking up recalls with my vin showed my car did not qualify with this specific recall. i believe ford should be fixing this problem because it is creating a real safety hazard for the owners of these vehicles.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled and the battery, heat, and oil warning indicators illuminated intermittently. the contact stated that the failures occurred three times. the vehicle was able to coast to the side of the road. the contact powered off the engine. once restarted, the vehicle drove normally. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failures. the approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
The engine is stalling when switching gears, and is causing a safety issue while driving. it has previously been in the repair shop and still is unable to switch gears without causing the car to stall, as if there is an issue with the transmission but the tests are not supporting that it is being caused by normal wear and tear. the car only has 48k miles.
Occasionally when leaving parking lots, my 2013 ford escape engine will cut out and stall causing you to have to turn off and restart the vehicle. usually the vehicle will start right back up and operate completely fine after that, but occasionally it takes a little longer to start up. once the vehicle is on the road or highway, it seems to be ok. this issue has only happened in parking lots or when pulling out of a stationery space and it does not happen every single time making the issue hard to recreate.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving 65 mph, the engine seized without warning. the vehicle was able to be restarted after approximately thirty minutes. the vehicle was taken to nazareth ford (4067 jandy blvd, nazareth, pa 18064, 866-601-7744) for diagnostic testing, but the failure could not be duplicated. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified and informed the contact that they would look into the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving 50 mph, the vehicle overheated and stalled without warning. the contact stated that the vehicle exhibited the same symptoms as listed in nhtsa campaign number: 12v551000 (engine and engine cooling). the vehicle was taken to the dealer (jim burke ford automall, 5300 gasoline alley dr suite b, bakersfield, ca 93313) where it was diagnosed that the cooling valve failed. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified and stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall. the failure mileage was approximately 76,069.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving 45 mph, the vehicle stalled and the coolant warning indicator illuminated. the contact noticed steam under the hood. the contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road, turned off the engine, and allowed it to cool off. afterwards, the steam was no longer present. the contact mentioned that the failure occurred multiple times. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the coolant was dripping onto the exhaust, which caused the steam. as a result, the water pump needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 135,992.
This has happened now (2) separate times a month apart. while driving down the road at 70-75 mph the vehicle will loose power and tell me to pull over. i am not able to restart vehicle and the engine temperature will spike to hot. this all happens in a matter of seconds with little or no time to react and pull vehicle to a safe spot. there has been radiator fluid pouring over the engine on both times this has happened and is now costing me a lot of money to fix. i feel that this is an issue with the escape in general and not with just mine.
Engine coolant leaks. plus a cylinder stopped firing at highway speeds. replacing the spark plug and coil. part of the spark plug broke leading to the header needing to be removed now.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving 50 mph, the engine stalled and the check engine indicator illuminated. the vehicle was towed to ray varner ford (2026 n charles g seivers blvd, clinton, tn 37716, (865) 457-0704), but the failure could not be diagnosed. the manufacturer was notified and did not assist. the failure mileage was 90,600.
The coolant bypass valve was replaced in 2014 as part of a recall. in july 2018 the car overheated and went into limp mode while driving in a residential area. car had to be towed to the dealership. dealership says it's the bypass valve again and needs to be replaced.
I came to a stop at a stop sign in my subdivision, and my car stalled out. i thought the problem was the battery so i tried to restart, but it failed. i smelled gas so i got out of the car and started seeing smoke under the hood. the smoke got worse quickly and caught fire within 2 minutes. the front of the car was engulfed in flames shortly after, for roughly five minutes, and it was eventually totaled.
I drive to town park to go in a store come back to my car start it and go to drive as i pulling in traffic it dies it starts back up and does it again for 4 to 5 times before finally driving normal, on hot days as the car is driving it will read as if it is over heating and pull reduce power in witch as u finally get out of traffic and pull over the heat hand drops back down like it wasn't hot this repeats on ever small hill i go up and the inside temperature reading goes up and down while this is happening and it is leaking coolant on back side of engine as all the other ford escape that was recalled that caused the fire
When driving on a highway the vehicle suddenly slowed down and the throttle did not work. i pulled off, shut the engine and restarted the car. it then ran ok. the same thing happened 2 other times - as if the gas pedal did not work. i saw on internet that escapes has a history of throttle problems, including my year. i took it to the ford dealer in columbia mo and they said , based on the vin #, that my car was supposedly not affected by this throttle issue. they said they could do nothing but charge me to replace the electronic throttle control. this is wrong. i could get seriously injured if this happens again but ford takes no responsibilty for a known problem.
Leaking coolant into engine cylinder block.
Engine cooling system fails blocking the water pump, when this part locks the serpentine belt breaks and car overheats, creating a lot of problems inside the engine, car can catch fire too, very unsafe vehicle especially for people with kids
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to rye ford (1151 boston post rd, rye, ny 10580, (914) 967-6300) where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was out of warranty. no further assistance was offered. the manufacturer referred the contact to nhtsa. the approximate failure mileage was 67,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle stalled and immediately restarted. the failure recurred and the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and restarted. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the failure recurred and the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to duplicate the failure. the contact stated that the failure recurred and the check engine indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic where error code: p068a (computer communication error) was located. the contact was referred to the dealer. the vehicle was taken to family ford of enfield (860-745-1111, 65 hazard ave, enfield, ct 06062), but the failure was unable to be duplicated. the contact was informed that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, but was advised to call the dealer if the check engine indicator illuminated again. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. the failure mileage was approximately 59,000.
The coolant system leaked on the turbo causing the engine to overheat and i had to pay 1400 in repairs.
While driving on the highway, screeching noises emitted from car and then instrument cluster showed the message "engine power reduced to lower temps" and after a few minutes "engine over temp, stop safely." turns our the water pump failed, requiring replacement of pump and belt at 35k miles,
Car reads that it is overheating but it is not. car can be moving stationary or anywhere and it just kicks on that it is overheating when it is not
My escape sel 1.6l 6 months ago after getting a full tank of gas my car started and then started to shake and stopped. car would not restart for 10 mins and only if i press the gas pedal to the flood. call dealership and they said they had not heard of a problem and let them know if it occurred again. my car is stalling making a noise, shaking and then no power just dies. i am scared for my safety. it does it now while i am driving. i have found where there is a recall for the same year built and type car for this issue. just not for the 1.6 engine but the 2.0 engine. i have had the car checked at to car places and they can not find the issue.... this car is not safe please help!!!! please look at the nva-215sm 15v-813 agian this happens while i am driving down the road at 45 miles an hour or pulling our from a stop!! i have looked on line an there are at least 40 other complaints about the 2013 escape 1.6l stalling while being driven! this is a safety issue!! and clearly the same issue as listed above on the 2013 escape 2.0 engine they were made at the same plant in louisville, same year etc... i am concerned i will be hit or my car. i can not let me teenager drive this car!!!! help help help
Whilst driving on streets and highways, at least 1 month, me and my wife began noticing 2013 ford escape 1.6 hesitate! and stall, several times on and off streets and highways.pcm, module is sending incorrect signals, codes read, com needs reprogramming, also coolant system leaks!, may be causing over heating, and fire in engine compartment, water pump went out, wednesday june 6th 2018, car is now at ford dealership, for, investigation into recall work. that may have not been performed. prior to sale to dealership where we purchased it. we would like any updated information about recall repairs performed by fleet?, company that sold it to super auto sales., including calibration and over heat software to prevent over heating etc., along with 13 other original recalls that should have already been performed, and some record who recall repairs were performed by etc. also the driver and passenger seatback recliner mechanism has insufficient strength, becomes loose and leaning while i'm driving on streets and highways, this been since purchased under a year ago pre-owned 100,486 miles on odometer. also constant smell of strong gas coming from engine compartment, low gas mileage, significant loose of engine coolant, etc.as mentioned prior in my compliant, full line and fuel pump may need service, because of strong gas fumes in and around vehicle. thanks for your time. this happened over a period of a month till it broke down and we had it towed, we just found out about recall, and wad not told it was needed or had been performed by super auto sales in modesto ca. dealership we purchased pre owned vehicle is super auto sales 4312 disk rd. modesto ca. 95356 (ph: 209-689-5455),
Engine wiring harness and sensor problems in 2013 ford escape with 2.0 liter engine that was not included in previous safety recall. while on a vacation trip in february, 2018, the engine fault warning light came on in our 2013 ford escape titanium with the 2.0 liter engine after restarting the car and entering the highway. it was followed by the check engine light. as we drove to the nearest ford dealership, the car was increasingly hesitating and seemed to be misfiring, a dangerous situation since highway driving was required. the service technician at the dealership did an analysis and determined that the problem was in the map sensor. he replaced that sensor under warranty and the problem was apparently fixed until june 4, 2018, when identical problems appeared after a stop on a local trip.the car was parked at a safe location and on june 6 driven to a local dealership for service and repair. analysis by the technician showed that there are problems in the engine wiring harness that are disrupting signals from the map sensor and the cam sensor, and that replacement of the complete engine wiring harness is required to fix the problem. although this car was built during the same period as the cars covered by nhtsa campaign number 14v495000 and it has the same engine specifications and the same apparent problems, it was not included in that recall. it is clear to me it should have been. further, it seems there are potential significant safety concerns regarding all 2013 and 2014 ford escapes with the 2.0 liter engine that were not included in the original recall.
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while driving at an unknown speed, the engine stalled. the vehicle was coasted to a fuel station where it caught fire. the fire originated from the engine compartment. the fire department extinguished the fire. it was unknown if a police or a fire report was filed. there were no injuries. the contact stated that the vehicle was repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 13v584000 (engine) prior to the fire. the manufacturer was notified and provided case number: cas-15003539. the dealer was not contacted for diagnostic testing or repairs. the failure mileage was 78,000.
Coolant leaks, since to be coming from insulated hose connected to heater
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford escape. while accelerating to merge onto a highway, the vehicle sputtered and hesitated. the vehicle then accelerated, the rpms increased, the vehicle jerked uncontrollably, and the check engine indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to van horn ford of oconomowoc (1000 summit ave, oconomowoc, wi 53066, (262) 567-5574). the dealer checked the transmission's computer code, but could not determine the cause of the failure. the dealer stated that they would have to see the check engine indicator illuminate to perform a diagnostic test. the manufacturer was contacted and stated that a supervisor would call back. the manufacturer stated that there was no recall on the vehicle; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair costs. the contact stated that the failure recurred several times while the warranty was still in effect and the dealer was notified several times. the manufacturer stated that they could not assist since the warranty was currently expired. the failure mileage was 94,000.
I have already submitted one statement. i am just wondering why my vehicle wasn't included on the recalls listed below when it sounds like the exact kind of problem i have been having with my vehicle. when started it doesn't take off and get up to speed without hesitation and stalling. and when i do get up to speed it loses power at the most inopportune time i have been in several near accidents due to the engine not running properly. the codes that have been coming up. and the check engine suggestions. have been tested by four different mechanics none of which could fall find a problem till recently. and i'm being told that the turbo boost code is been caused by faulty wiring which is happened to be totally replaced. as per my other statement i am having it repaired tomorrow but not being reimbursed. and if other 2013 ford escape drivers have had this issue there may be some unrecorded desk due to the engine stalling on the highway and the inconsistent running up the engine when these codes pop up. the codes are also sporadic as i said in my other statement. one time you turn the car on and have a problem shut it off and the next time the codes are cleared. i have been living with this daily for a month
Engine light and service engine soon message appeared. car stalling and won't accelerate. took to victory ford in kansas city after 5 hours they couldn't figure out what the problem was other than replacing the sensor. hundred and $69 for the diagnosis. i was out of town so baby. did it all the way back home had a local dealership put the sensor in. another $74.. in the meantime engine code would sporadically disappear. and reappear period for no apparent reason. had the local dealership check the code again keeps reading turbo problems. they're ford machine was down so i took it to a dealership in the next town. specific coding showed that is a wiring and splice problem. in the meantime i've almost been run over several times because the car won't accelerate when the code is thrown. if there's a problem with the wiring harness it should have been covered under a recall which i've been told it is not. and tomorrow dealership is replacing all of the splicing and wiring for another $450. i'm afraid that the problem may have caused other issues. but won't know until after the original problem is fixed. i feel like a couple of the wiring issues that have been recalled already should have included this. and forward should have to reimburse me for my cost since this is obviously a manufacture problem and not normal wear and tear when car is in motion there is a whirring sound i've been told is due to the electrical problem.
Consistent issues with the engine coolant system resulting in antifreeze going into the valves. we are now having to have the entire engine replaced.
Purchased a 2013 ford escape turbo from wickenburg jones ford in wickenburg az. vehicle caught on fire as my husband was driving home. unfortunately the fire put itself out (wish it hadn't b/c then my insurance would have totaled it). but it caused significant damage before it went out. oil leak occurred from the cylinder head or valve cover gasket due to overheating and engine oil ignited on the engine exhaust system starting the fire. this all occurred on the side of us 60 as my husband pulled over as soon as he realized it was on fire. vehicle now needs a new engine
I have to refill coolant every 10-14 days. the coolant indicator light comes on and it is down to the minimum level. the water pump has been replaced and did not fix the problem. there is no visible leak. several mechanics have looked at the vehicle and cannot find the problem. it started in may, 2018 and has been ongoing since. the water pump was replaced in june, 2018.
Engine stalled on major freeway. mechanic and ford diagnosed it with the turbocharger failing. ie; literally came apart. the catalytic converters are now also damaged due to the turbocharger failing and gif knows what else. there were no codes, the engine system, stated that there were no errors.
Recently it died while driving on a busy highway. i was extremely lucky that i could get off the road, and that there was not a major accident. my car turns over, but will not restart. after my mechanic had it for a day, he contacted me stating it has an electrical problem and that he was calling the ford dealership, due to it being faulty and that they should fix it. i then was called back and he confirmed with auburn ford, in auburn, can, that there was a recall that could fix the problem and that the dealer had to do the repairs, why i called ford, i was told there was only 1-recall for the doors. after i told him the mechanic was told there were 2, he changed his story. he then said there were 2-recalls, but neither would fix my car. he then started i would need to pay $ to have them diagnose it.
