How to Fix Power Steering Assist Fault on a Ford Bronco - Detailed Guide

Probing into the power and grounds of the steering module can reveal a lot. Use your test light again to ensure you're getting both power and grounds. If those are good, the issue might lie with the communication.

In our Bronco, a tiny detail was the villain. Some of the taped-up communication wires were pulled back, causing a loss in communication. Ensure you carefully check any taped or connected areas. You might just find your solution there.
The Fix
Once you’ve identified the problem, in our case adjusting the pins on the connectors, test the communication lines again. If everything's smooth, you're golden.
