Recalled in july for defective airbag inflator which could rupture and lead to metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the vehicle occupants. this is more likely to occur if vehicle has been exposed to high levels of absolute humidity for extended periods of time. we live in florida and my husband uses this truck to build swimming pools-lots of driving. this delay is unacceptable, called to get on the "waiting list" 7/14/15. called again today, they told me it "could be months to a year" because the manufacturer only allows them to order 1-2 parts per month.

My husband's dodge ram 1500 has had 2 power steering pumps replaced. the last pump was replaced in less than 39 days. within the last week we have had 4 different episodes of the power steering gpoes out. when the power steering does go out there is a hard jerk to the right side. this is very dangerous. this past time my family and i was pulling a 27 foot camper behind us when the steering went out. we also had to replace the struts on the truck. this is ridiculous to keep having these dangerous problems. i will no longer let my son ride with his father because of the parental of the steering going out. this should not happen.

Called to set an appointment to have the p80 / nhtsa14v-795 recall repaired done on my 2006 dodge ram 1500. set to drop off my vehicle at 8:30 am on 4/1/2015 at chris nikel chrysler, dodge, jeep (2920 n aspen ave broken arrow, ok 74012 918-355-5000). i left my truck with them and i called back this afternoon to check the status on it. they stated that they would need it for another 3 days to complete the work. i had an appointment with a 1 day promise and now its a 3-4 day job. classic way of getting out from doing the job. i am a single father that cannot go 4 days without my truck. very unprofessional and deceptive business practices. me and my kids safety remains at risk because the recalls don't produce enough revenue for the dealership to remain a priority. *tr
