My sister was in a fatal car accident june 23rd 2015. about a week and a half after her death we received a recall for the trucks rear axle pinion nut. then a week after that we received another recall in the mail regarding the driver airbag inflator. during the incident her trucks right rear tire was snapped at the axle leaving us to believe that the pinion nut was loose and caused this rear axle to seize and break. in the crash all of the airbags failed to deploy. the pinion nut recall was issued in february of 2015 and we are questioning why it took chrysler 5 months to provide us with this information.

Two recalls(p77 rear axle pinion nut; p254driver airbag inflator)--same response from the dealership(byford, duncan, ok) parts not available; visited the dealership twice and called twice(started around 6/16/2015); last recommendation from dealership was to make an appointment for them to see the vehicle and then try to order the parts; contacted the chrysler group recall assistance center(on hold for 35 minutes) on 8/4/2015-they took my information to forward to the dealership no one seems to interested in satisfying these recalls except me

We received a recall notice which is not dated and called but the dealership said they don't have the part and will contact us when they do. this recall can cause injury and/or death and i am expected to drive and it, it is not a big deal to chrysler dodge. they continue to make money and new vehicles but allow their loyal customers to drive unsafe vehicles. there was not an estimated follow up given to us on this problem. before a recall is even done there are injuries or death which start this process and we feel completely unsafe driving this vehicle especially with children. is this legal or even moral? if something happens to my family i feel chrysler and or your department should be 100% liable. i expect a response immediately due to the seriousness of this matter. i will also follow up. thank you, see contact information below. *tr

Pulled into a parking spot in front of goodwill, foot on the brake, the truck surged forward, smashed into a metal pole, caved in my grill, bumper and hood and the airbag did not deploy. i had a bump on my head from the steering wheel and my wrists were bruised from hitting the dash. i took my truck to benny boyd here in marble falls per instructions from my insurance company and mark ball, the man who sold me the truck, told me to 'piss off' then filed a 'criminal no trespass' against me so i can't go back to the place i bought it. *tr

As i pulled into a parking space, when i applied the brakes, the motor revved up, causing the pick up to surge forward and jump over a concrete stopper into a metal pole in front of a business. the hood, grill and bumper caved inward about a foot, the air bags did not deploy. i had a bump on my forehead and my wrists were sore for a few days. i did not go to er. *tr

As i was preparing to park, my truck accelerated on it's own jumping over a concrete stopper and into a large metal pole in front of a business. the entire front of my truck caved in, the hood, the grill and the bumper crumpled and the air bag (which should have) did not deploy. the dealership is refusing to fix it and filed a criminal no trespass against me so i can't go on the lot or try to talk to the salesman. the police officers who responded checked me over, said it was an 'at fault' accident but only because i was behind the wheel and gave me a 'crash bureau form' to fill out, which i did. my online research showed recalls on both the accelerator and the air bags. please help me. my insurance is not going to pay for the repairs due to the fact it was due to defective auto parts and the dealership should take care of it, which they won't. i am a fifty year old disabled female and my truck is my lifeline. i do not have the $7,000.00 the dealership wants me to pay to fix the truck i just bought (still doesn't have plates on it yet) and paid $10,000.00 for. i bought it from benny boyd in marble falls, texas. *tr
