Tl* the contact owns a 2007 dodge magnum. the contact stated the vehicle would roar and then decelerate when attempting to accelerate from a stop. the dealer performed a software update however, the failure persisted. the vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time and the contact was informed that she needed to replace the actuator idle sensor and the upper intake manifold. the vehicle was also taken to a private mechanic who informed the contact that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. no repairs were performed. the manufacturer was aware of the failure. the current mileage was 75,900. the approximate failure mileage was 35,000. updated 01/03/12*lj updated 01/11/12

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge magnum. while driving 10 mph, the accelerator pedal became inoperable for approximately 40 seconds. when the throttle began to work, the engine went to full throttle and the vehicle accelerated without warning. the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. the contact stated that the failure occurred on three occasions. as of november 9, 2007, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle. the failure mileage was 1,658 and current mileage was 7,543.
