While driving, all electrical goes out or flickers. the car will sometimes lose power on acceleration above 20mph regardless if turning, on highway or neighborhood roads. this has happen a few times since last month and thought it was my battery. i exchanged the battery and the issue wasnt resolved.

When u turn key in ignition it doesn't always start you have to keep trying,,, windows come down by themselves when vehicle not running when u go to put it in drive it won't move out of park unless you turn off engine and restart vehicle horn goes off whenever it wants too car doesn't always unlock when you use remote or relock itself all these things happen when not in motion this all happens at different times in the last few months we have paid to get it reprogrammed.
Trouble starting. has.had several intermittent occurances. havve been able to shift to neutral and start the vehicle. could it be a possible grounding problem?
My wife car keep starting on its own. she was at work a few times and her coworker informed her her car was running. there's no light on the dash that would say what causes it.
Passenger side heat does not work. only blows out cold air in all vents, defrost, front and feet. causes windows to fog up and bad visibility and also does not keep you warm. also at times it will not allow you to change the heat controls such as from defrost to front or feet. happens no matter if car is parked or driving. the colder out is is the worse the problem. huge safety issue living in minnesota. also serched google and there were 100's of the same complaints in dodge journeys all different years.
Horn. the horn sounds arbitrarily when driving and when not driving. it startles driver and vehicles close to driver -- may cause road rage by others assuming you are honking at them when you are not. the horn has sounded at 2:00 a.m. when no one is near the vehicle or the fob. the horn had to be disconnected to get it to stop. when taken to the shop, dodge service center in stockton, ca advised they have not heard of the problem; however, when researching this issue on the internet there are many, many dodge journey and ram owners who complain of the same issue. from reading the various accounts of the same problem, there does not appear anyone who has specifically determined the cause of the problem. after having to disconnect the horn fuse, the vehicle is rendered unsafe to the owner, pedestrians, and other drivers. the problem continues intermittently with no common variable.
Dash makes clicking noises, the horn goes off by itself, i could be driving or just sitting still, this has been going on for about 2 years, took it in twice to have it checked, they all are confused as why this is happening
I was picking up my kids from school and my horn kept going off. it went of all the way home i had to disconnect the battery because it wouldn't stop. even after it was turned off and parked.
While driving the horn on the vehicle blows for no apparent reason. we removed the horn fuses and it did stop, but once put back in the horn blows continuously while driving.
My dodge journey will leave me stranded, in what it seems, the most inconvenient times. this issue will happen at least twice a week now. i will turn the ignition and tried to start the car, but all i'll get is a "click" sound. sometimes putting the car in neutral works, most of the time doesn't. sometimes i can't even get the car out of park, even when the key is inserted and moved to start. what it seems to work almost everytime is to wait it out. it's a huge waste of time, but i've waited anywhere from 18 minutes up to 1 hour and 34 minutes. i've taken the suv on multiple occasions to the dealership and spend more than $2,000 in apparent fixes that doesn't do anything. i've done recalls for the ignition and the wire harness, as well as replacing the battery (twice), starter (three times) and the neutral safety position switch (once). called dodge on multiple occasions, but their response is that they don't know what's causing this problem and that apparently there's not enough complaints about this issue. this is the vehicle my wife uses to go to work and take the kids around. i've read that some people, their vehicles, just stopped working in the middle of the street while they were driving. super unsafe and dodge doesn't want to take responsibility for their malfunction.
Horn goes on randomly. mostly in the middle of the night. it has sounded while driving without driver pushing horn pad. i am concerned that it may cause a road rage issue if it goes on while driving. also a concern that if it goes on during the night, that it may be presumed to be an alarm an cause unnecessary call for police to investigate. this has been going on for months and i had topull fuses to stop it. multiple people complaining online about this issue with dodge vehicles.
My journey has episodes of not starting. everything on the dash will come on but not start. i've had multiple starters replaced and sensors and more and nothing has fixed the issue.
It started with a window not going up, then the electrical wires to the front left headliggt burned out and melted the bulb connector. bulb connector was replaced and it happened again. keyless entry fobs stopped working, batteries were changed and fobs were tested but they still don't work. alarm goes off at random times and takes us starting and moving the car 50 feet to turn it off. the other night the car horn went off in the middle of the night randomly, about 12 times. now the hornnis going off as we drive for no reason. this car ckearly has electrical issues. electrical parts keep burning out causing me to change them for reinspection time by the state.
My car won't start intermittently and often dies and often in a dangerous intersection. i have my grandchildren with me and it is very dangerous when the care suddenly dies with no warning in the middle of an intersection. also, i can turn the car off and it may or may not start, then suddenness for no reason starts. this concerns me as i live in austin texas and i am concerned about being on a toll or freeway and having an accident because the care suddenly dies. we have checked everything and according to the hundreds of forums the tipm is the problem, but dodge refuses to fix or recall this problem even though it is happening to so many folks. these cars are often used to haul children around and my concern is that one day soon someone is going to be killed due to this problem.
My car has an intermittent problem with starting. i have only had this vehicle for 6 weeks and it has failed to start on many different occassions. i have had it towed to the dealership two separate times and they tell me they don't know what's wrong with it. i figured out that when my car won't start, while in park, i can turn the key to the on position and move the shifter into neutral. it starts at this point. each time that my vehicle has failed to start, it has been in park in my driveway, on a slight incline.
Vehicle does random no start just clicks had starter replaced did not fix issue. i read on internet tells me to move gear selector back and forth or just put it in neutral to start up. when my journey does not want to start i have to put it in neutral and it starts right up, another issue i just noticed is the when turn heater on the passenger side vents blow cool air other vents are hot.

On hot days car began leaking automatic transmission fluid from assumed vent on top of cable shifter linkage. car was sitting and not driven in a approximately 3 days and was positioned in a forward incline. dip stick showed high on the fill tube above hash marks. also horn blaring without touching. regardless if someone is in the car or not. the horn will go off all times of day or night. it is a honk. honk....hoooooonk.....hoooooooonk. best way to describe it is someone is angry or an emergency is taking place and other drivers need to move. it is random on when this will happen
1st for no reason the horn goes off, i had to pull the fusees so i can keep my neighbors i'm driving around with no horn at this time. 2nd heater core was only heating one side of the car, 3rd passenger seat belt locks up the moment car starts.
I have been having problems with my car shutting off on me or wont start for over 6 months i have been taking my car to the dealership over and over again for the same problem but they are telling me its different issues when i have to keep bringing it back to them for the same thing over and over again i have spent over 1000 each time i have had to fix my car and they are not still fixing the problem because the car is still shutting off or wont start at all
My horn beeps when ever it wants too, in the driveway, driving down the road, anytime it wants too. no one can find anything wrong with it yet i am going to get killed one day when it beeps at the wrong person in traffic.

Vehicle would not start after it was running for 20 min. had interior lights, horn, wipers but no start. also happened when out for 1/2 day and backed into driveway to empty car, went to start car to move it, wouldn't start. outside temps were in the 80's. called for jump from statewide road service (did not start) called aaa service (got to start after 5 tries) cool temps on sunday car started. took to robin ford where it was purchased. vehicle was parked in my driveway.
The horn is going off when the car is parked in my driveway. it is also going off when i am driving on the road. i couldn't get it to stop going off, my husband had to take out the horn fuse. i now have no horn, also that means i have no alarm. this is a safety issue.

My 2010 dodge journey is leaking power steering fluid, will not hold power steering fluid, making loud grinding noises wen i turn, accelerate etc. this is a recall and this vin should be included in that recall. i am so disappointed with chrysler dodge because this is a common issue. if need be i will file any kind of suit necessary! there are many others with the exact problem exact model and year, it's not a coincidence
1st thing was the horn, randomly honking at all hours of the day of night. it had stopped.... for now.... but now my car is not starting. for some reason it won't turn over, i can turn key to let it do it's emission test before starting then turning key to start, it just clicks and doesn't start. car has done it at grocery store, daycare, work, even shut off by itself while stopped at a red light.
Had to replace heater core in 2017. car had less than 50000.00 miles on it. cold air blowing out vents when settings are turned to heat.

Twice now i've went to start my car and nothing happens. lights,radio, etc all come on. turn key, nothing! not even a clicking noise. i was leaving work the first time it happened. took turning the key over and over about a dozen times to get it going. next time i was at gas station. took over half an hour to get it going. ended up putting it into neutral to get it to start. had to try that 4 different times in order for that to work. have googles this issue on dodge form and there are numerous people with the same issue. this needs to be a recall!
Tamara recall... since i got the car i have been having issues, first air bags, reactions and fuel system and today august 18, 2017 at 4:38am my car shut off while in the high way.
Several times last week while parked and locked (using the key fob) the horn has randomly honked. just this week once while driving down the street the horn honked. this has happened 6 other times this week while parked either at my house or at my work. any ideas what is causing this malfunction?
We've been stranded several times because the car will intermittently decide not to start . the battery and starter are both fine but sometimes the car will crank and then won't for a day or so. research has led me to believe there is a problem with the neutral safety switch in 2010 dodge journey's. there are many forums and blogs out there describing this same issue and there is a trick that sometimes when the car won't crank while in park, you can put the gear in neutral and it will crank up. that worked for us several times but recently, even that trick stopped working. our car has currently been at a dodge dealership for 2 weeks and even they don't know what the issue is.
Horn goes off intermittently when driving. also have issue with key/remote if the unlock door button is hit to many time the windows will roll down.
I had a recall on my keys back in 2015 but every since them at will my truck will not start. i have taken to several places for diagnostic testing to see if it is my battery, starter, altenater or loose wiring and they have all come back negative. every time i take it to the shop or the dealer they tell me the same thing if it is not doing it when i get it to them they cannot find out what the problem is. i am tired of being stranded and paying to have my truck towed and then it starts as soon as i get it home. i need help please!!
Have intermittent starter fails. often leaves me stranded. have been able to get it going eventually by jiggling fuses in the fuse box. but i never know when this is going to happen and i have only had the car for 6 months and it has happened 6 times. vehicle was always turned off and when i went to turn it on, nothing. but there is power in the car, lights and radio etc.
Without warning, the horn starts blaring, whether we are in the car or not. this happens daily! had to take the fuse out that controls the horn! the alarm would start blaring at night and will not go off, wearing the battery down if we do not hear it in the garage, which is not attached to the house. i have read countless other people with the same problem! not having a horn is dangerous, and i'm not sure if the air bag is affected! dodge wants $105 to check the problems, and approximately $400 to repair, per the service manager at the dealership. no help from manufacturer!
Wipers have been turning on unexpectedly for a couple of weeks, now on 4/18/2017 the horn started honking unexpectedly day and night while driving and stationary on or off. horn also started honking in middle of traffic and other drivers started yelling at me for honking.
We have a 2010 dodge journey that began to have multiple and bizarre electrical issues. the horn began honking randomly and sometimes it just wouldn't start. now we have battery issue. we replaced the battery but even the new battery drains overnight. i'm paying notes on a vehicle i cannot drive. i was fired from my job (attendance) and desperately need my vehicle to drive so i can get a new job.
In february 2017, vehicle started randomly honking in the middle of the night parked (off) in the garage and went off intermittently for several ours. had to pull the fuse to get the horn to stop honking. took to mechanic first time (the couldn't replicate issue) and had car battery replaced- got home 1 hour later and it started again. took into dodge dealership and they couldn't replicate the issue either but replaced the key fob batteries and seemed to work for a day. started all over again. took it in for the 3rd time (in a month) and had horn wiring harness replaced. lasted 3 weeks and now its in the shop again for the 4th time and still cannot determine what the root cause is as they claim its not throwing out any "codes" to show what's wrong. dealership has contacted chrysler and the aren't sure what to do at this point either.. help!!
Air bag light goes on at certain times, and the horn goes on all by it's self while the vehicle is sitting with out running, and while driving, i had to remove the fuse to stop the horn from going off on it's own, but now i have no horn and that is a safety issue
