Tl* the contact owns a 2014 dodge challenger. the contact stated that the cruise control failed to disengage when the contact's foot depressed the brake pedal. when the cruise control was applied while driving 65 mph, the rpms increased and the vehicle accelerated to 114 mph. the contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road and disconnected the cruise control. as the contact continued driving without the cruise control activated, the vehicle proceeded to accelerate and decelerate simultaneously. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for inspection and the mechanic stated that the power train control module and the alternator generator regulator failed. the manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 18e053000 (vehicle speed control) and nhtsa campaign number: 17v741000 (electrical system). the manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 64720021. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 91,099.

When i try accelerate the car's rpm rises but the car doesn't accelerate. it is similar to being in neutral. i have to put the car in neutral and back to drive while i'm already in motion to fix it. it has done this since i bought the car. i have filed a complaint with dodge and dodge corporate.
