In july 2008 both headlights went out while driving at night. turning the headlight switch off and on caused the headlights to turn on. this occurred occasionally for the next 2 years with increasing frequency. during a trip to annapolis in oct 2010, the headlights would not turn on. manipulating the headlight switch did not turn them on. the high beam will turn on when the stalk on the steering column is operated and the headlight switch is on and the motor running. internet searches suggest this is a common problem with this model and the headlight switch or drounding is the cupprit.

Dt*: the contact stated while in a rain storm, the driver side taillight filled up with water. the glue the held the taillight in place failed and light fell off due to the weight of the water. the dealership determined the taillight assembly should be replaced. updated 10/18/2006 - the first rain storm vehicle had ever been in resulted in water accumulating in the taillight. the manufacturer indicated that the replacement would not be covered under warranty because the vehicle had over 36000 miles on it. *nm
The entire light cover panel fell off of my 2005 dodge caravan while driving on the interstate. it was glued on, and the heat melted the glue. there are no screws holding this onto the car. i have met two other people with the same problem in the last 2 weeks. *nm
Defective sway bar at 28,000 miles-dealership stated it is normal with this year of caravans & that i don't have to have replaced lights would not shut off or turn on with manual operation - when the vehicle is off for a long time the lights turn on for no reason at all. we have replaced the lightbulbs on 3 different occasions fuse keeps on blowing in engine at 32,000 miles, 34,000 miles and 39,050 miles. electronic windows, door locks, automatic side door no longer operate at 41,000 miles. excessive corrosion around battery every 4,000 miles paid to have cleaned 5 times and they say my battery is fine other than the corrosion build up. *tr
