Many other drivers complaining about same issue: 1. driving at low speed (10mph or less) transmission does a hard shift as if it was trying to engage 2nd or 3rd shift. car does a huge bump when the shift is engaged. 2. at high speed (65mph ~) is possible to hear a rattling noise coming from left side panel / drivers side. this is very concerning for us. already have dealer check the vehicle but they always say they could not reproduce the issue. this is happening since the very first recall for this car. before the first recall, no issue.
1) braked at a stop light car started hissing and the brake pushed back and the car started to roll forward. service stated brake booster needs repair. 2) turning slow as in backing out of parking spot and there is a creaking sound. service states needs wheel hubs need replaced. car is 67,000 miles
Suspension broke, while driving on i 75 in london ky; airbags never deployed; vehicle became uncontrollable! can't seem to get any answers from chrysler?? ...*bf.. *tr ..*bf. *jb
In july i took my vehicle in for down shifting issues and the couldn't find a problem when running a system check. problem continued and 2 weeks ago took it in again for shifting issues. now experience suspension popping a noisy sound. i'm tired of having a brand new vehicle with under 30,000 miles having so many problems. what is the solution?
While driving our van it became completely uncontrollable at any speed greater than about 25 mph. van rocked and pitched violently and i am convinced it would have certainly caused an accident and likely flipped van if it occurred at 40+ mph. dealer discovered rear suspension had broken completely away from bracket. a complete bracket failure on right rear which allowed the whole right rear of the van to move independently of van. it was also discovered during inspection that the same bracket on the left side was cracked and also failing. the van is a mobility van and has been modified by a company called vmi. the van has been lightly used and has less than 9000 miles on it. i stress again that the van became completely uncontrollable without any known cause. i believe there is great chance of death or serious injury from this apparent defect. *tt updated 10/1/18*jb
A very serious issue , wheels spinning and transmission shuddering problem on my new 2017 chyrsler pacifica model, occurs more sharply and frequently on wet roads. while shifting to drive mode and picking up from idle position at signals & turns the vehicle shakes, wheels don't grab the roads, transmission slips, vehicle shudders, loses momentum and halts momentarily in the middle of the road, and this is worst on inclined roads. i barely escaped an accident today when vehicle stopped in the middle of the road while trying to take a turn at an intersection and wheels kept spinning, transmission kept shuddering and car wasn't moving anywhere. i complained a few times with chrysler dealer, they said inspection does not find any error code. the issue is so apparent and can be replicated easily by just driving it once. it's a serious manufacturing defect and it can cause serious accidents and death..i intend to pursue this seriously with chrysler and hope they are able to fix. if anybody has any similar experience, please post it here. ..updated 10/25/17 *bf
