Vehicle had approx 36000 and just out of warranty.. creaking / flexing noise heard in front end when accelerating from a stop appeari g to be control arm bushing flexing or engine / transmission mount flex noise.
When driving an turning makes clanking noise under car, car get stuck in cars an then jerks when changes, been telling chrysler dealer where i get my repairs an tune ups i'm told it all part of the electrical system been telling them this since i got the car new 2017
I have taken this vehicle in for repairs multiple times and it is schedule for repairs again this week. there have been multiple electrical issues including problems with the sliding doors, anti lock brake system had to be replaced, the battery system is grounding out, issues with the radio screen, and now the auto on off system is not working. in addition, i had to take the vehicle in for the ball joints bolts coming loose three time and they just used loctite to make them say on . they never realigned the vehicle and now i have to replace tires that are unsafe. chrysler should own this and i am still convinced the ball joints could be damaged from this issue and they should replace them. however, the biggest issue is the transmission. it will be going in for the fifth time this week for the same issue that the dealer keep claiming is how i drive it. when taking off from a dead stop the transmission hesitates, which is a serious safety issue. also, when driving and you let off the accelerator to brake it will hammer real hard. this a serious safety issue and chrysler and the dealer refuse to own it. i filed my second complaint with chrysler last week. this all needs to be resolved so i have a safe vehicle for my family. i feel they are stalling so my warranty will run out and i have no recourse.
I am clearly having transmission issues. at 45,000 miles, i have taken the van in twice so far and no solution is successful. first service was to address the transmission recall which was merely a software modification. this did not fix the issue. i took it in again and the service department could not replicate the issue. i am getting a major kick in the shifting during low speed movement. it happens around 15 mph when acceleration holds steady. it is a violent kick as if another vehicle has hit the rear of our van. this is not ok, nor does it seem healthy for the state of the rest of the moving parts associated. the other issue is within the front suspension. over even the smallest of bump or uneven road surface, it feels as if something is loose. i had it into the shop to check the struts, joints, etc, and they are ok, but something is not right and i begin to wonder if this vehicle is safe for my wife to drive my family around town in.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 chrysler pacifca. while driving approximately 39 mph, an unusual noise was heard from the front passenger side of the vehicle. there was no warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the passenger side motor and strut were fractured. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the warranty expired. the contact was informed to call nhtsa. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 68,000. *dt*jb
Transmission shifting issue. vehicle was at a complete stop. when acceleration from stop and making a right turn , the vehicle acted like it slipped out of gear and back into gear. this caused a violent motion in the car. this is a repeated issue with this van. at times when i step on the gas to accelerate the transmission does not always engage properly and it slips causing a delay in taking off. i have had it back to the dealer for all upgrades or reprograms for this problem and yet the problem still persists
We have a 2017 pacifica and noticed a clunking in the front of the car we are about 4,000 miles over the 36,000 warranty and they are telling us that the driver side strut needs to be replaced and chrysler is not willing to budge and fix this problem. i accepted this decision and went to purchase the part from a part shop and no one can get a replacement strut for a 2017 pacifica. i feel this should be covered and is not something that should have gone bad this soon.
Suspension broke, while driving on i 75 in london ky; airbags never deployed; vehicle became uncontrollable! can't seem to get any answers from chrysler?? ...*bf.. *tr ..*bf. *jb
When accelerating the van jerks then picks up more speed. sometimes when pressing the gas pedal from park it takes a while to start moving. the shifter gets suck and the doesnt get off the emergency brake.
First the drivers side front strut is making noise already has been to dealer for it still doing same thing. hatch doesn't open all the time, passenger sliding door making noise both issues taking to dealer still not right and making noise, drivers side sliding door just closed. while driving car car will just not go at all dealer did software on it and it's still doing same thing. dealer had my car for well over a week for it to be doing the same thing have another appointment monday 12/10/18 . i hate this car wish i kept my other one.

When ever driving down hill the brakes makes a loud noise (skipping thud sound) it feels and sounds like as the whole front suspension or brakes about to fall off the van. the other problem when turning the car at even at low speed when the road is wet the van suspension would make noise and tire wont grip. happens many time pulling out from my drive way when its lightly wet.
While driving at any speed , on any surface, the sensation of sway and bobbing is excessive and of concern. the dealer reports that it is normal. our 2005 model was totally free of all sway and bobbing thus very comfortable for all passengers. (the dealer reports the scraping in the front was normal. it was later discovered that the splash shield up front was about to fall off.) there are service records i can fax.
As i was driving the vehicle sometimes goes like it was in neutral then the gear kicks in it feels like if someone rear ended you i have taken it to dealer but no fix yet
While driving our van it became completely uncontrollable at any speed greater than about 25 mph. van rocked and pitched violently and i am convinced it would have certainly caused an accident and likely flipped van if it occurred at 40+ mph. dealer discovered rear suspension had broken completely away from bracket. a complete bracket failure on right rear which allowed the whole right rear of the van to move independently of van. it was also discovered during inspection that the same bracket on the left side was cracked and also failing. the van is a mobility van and has been modified by a company called vmi. the van has been lightly used and has less than 9000 miles on it. i stress again that the van became completely uncontrollable without any known cause. i believe there is great chance of death or serious injury from this apparent defect. *tt updated 10/1/18*jb
Acc & fcw. mine did not work. the dealer had my car for 2 weeks. they had to contact the chrysler engineer & was told to replace & re-calibrate. so after being replaced it somewhat works. after the new parts, my car will still brake hard when a car in the adjacent lane is exiting (as if the car was braking in front of me). but, if a car changes lanes directly in front of me or slams on brakes directly in front of me my car doesn't react? chrysler has definitely fallen short on this function. i've owned vehicles where this function worked nearly flawless. chrysler says its as good as its going to get. another misrepresentation on this feature! i'm disappointed. chrysler claims the pacifica to be the quietest vehicle in its class. after driving it about 8 months now, i hate it. it's as noisy as a small car. "acoustically sound with its active noise cancellation (anc), subduing engine and street noise through white-noise wavelengths played through all speakers throughout the vehicle". the anc is in all trim levels. chrysler at this point doesn't even have a way to test the product to see if the anc is working! star tech support of chrysler is still trying to figure out how to test this feature!!! i had a chrysler customer service rep tell me that the anc was for my cell phone, lol, i was like are you sure you work for chrysler?? third, is the suspension and rear sway of the vehicle. when there are only 2 people up front it's not noticeable. but when we have 5-6 people it's noticeable. chrysler customer service tried to tell me i had the van over capacity. really! so my 7 passenger van was over capacity with 5 people (4 adults, 1 child, 3 luggage)? again are you sure you work for chrysler?? fourth, my key fob randomly loses connection. fifth, i had the a/c failure and my a/c had to be replaced. i have requested a buy back. too many misrepresentations. *tr
