Front passenger airbag deployed during frontal impact with another vehicle. the front seat belted passenger was permanently blinded by the air bag. the airbag struck the rear view mirror on the windshield and broke it from the mount causing half the mirror to impact front seated passenger's face. passenger totally blind as a result.

It was raining out and i was decreasing speed pulling into a turning lane, the car lost steering and brakes until i was able to get it off the road and turn it off and restart it.

The traction control and esp lights have been on for months, dealer states that the problem is the clockspring, but part is not available. so currently the esp and traction control, both of which are safety features are not functioning and i can not repair cause part is not readily available, i feel there should be a recall to cover this safety concern.

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that the electronic stability control, brake assist system, and traction control warning lights illuminated for more than 18 months. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the clockspring (part number 68281393ab) needed to be replaced. the manufacturer failed to produce the required part to repair the vehicle. the contact and mechanic contacted the dealer and manufacturer numerous times during the 18 months to purchase the parts, but was not successful. the failure mileage was 148,000.

While stopped at intersection a vehicle traveling at 40 to 60 mph tried to turn the corner and struck our vehicle in the left front corner. the collision totaled the vehicle making the turn. at this time the insurance co. hasn't decided whether to total ours or not. this vehicle is equipped with front air bags, under dash leg air bags and full side curtain air bags. none of the air bags deployed. i would have thought that with the direction of the impact that all air bags would have deployed, instead of none. *tr

On july 30, 2009, the airbags on my 2007 pacifica did not deploy during a motor vehicle accident. i was hit from behind and my vehicle hit multiple trees before crashing into a larger one, stopping my vehicle. my head hit and broke the windshield. the airbags did not deploy. i suffered several injuries related to the accident. *tr

I was in a rear end collision with my 2007 chrysler pacifica. i was hit from behind by a car that was traveling 50 mph and shoved into the vehicle in front of me. my air bag did not go off and my drivers seat broke upon my being thrust back after initial forward thrusting causing my legs to go up under the dash causing injury to my legs and a torn disc in my back from the seat breaking. *tr
