Recently reported ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING problems on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Tuesday, october 25, 2016 the engine cradle rusted through and the engine lowered and the cradle itself was dragging along the street. my wife was leaving our town of owosso, michigan to go to doctor appointments in lansing, michigan about 35 miles away. the pacifica had 119,101 miles on it and was otherwise in excellent condition. we had purchased the car from a chrysler dealership about 15 miles away about seven years prior with 42,000 miles on it. it had always been serviced at the dealership until the dealership was sold in february 2016. without repair the value of the vehicle was just scrap metal, repair was an absolute to salvage any value, the repair cost $3214.07. *tr

Just took my 2006 chrysler pacifica in for annual nys inspection as was told it failed due to severe rotting of the main engine cradle and it was a serious safety concern. this came as a total shock as the car has shown no other rusting of any body parts and has been a mechanically sound vehicle until this point. the mechanic showed me underneath the car and the other under carriage components are in acceptable shape, only the cradle is rusted through. i drove it to the local chrysler dealer and they said that this problem is known by chrysler and that i should call chrysler and report the problem. the dealer estimate for repair was $4400.00! i called chrysler directly from dealership and after some review i was told there was nothing that could be done for me!! i now have a junk vehicle with no resale possibility and i cant afford a $4400 repair nor can i allow my wife or myself to drive it without the repair being done as it is unsafe. please help me get chrysler to step up and fix the cradle as i have seen massive amounts of similar comments online about this issue and people are being put at great risk! chrysler has repaired this issue at their cost for certain 2004 and 2005 pacificas....i maintain they are responsible as well to repair my 2006 under recall as well!! they are fully aware that this problem exists! *tr

The sub frame and engine cradle are completely rusted away! the vehicle was purchased new, garage kept and dealer serviced. the engine sub frame and cradle is rusted and gone from the vehicle. this is so unsafe! car sub frames never rust away. chrysler is placing peoples lives in jeopardy! profit over lives. please take some action on this serious life threatening issue. *tr

I was performing a complete brake job on my vehicle and noticed that the engine cradle on my vehicle is rusted out. i don't mean surface rust, there are actual holes in the engine cradle. i feel that this is a major safety issue. i contacted chrysler and all they can tell me is that my vehicle is out of warranty. i find it totally ridiculous for chrysler not to stand behind their product. this is my no means normal, i own a 1965 thunderbird with not a bit of rot on the undercarriage. what the hell is chrysler and/or the nhtsa waiting for to recalled and repair these faulty vehicles , someone to die first ? your agency will have someone's blood on you hands also if someone dies in an accident caused by this defect.i am beginning to think that chrysler is paying you guys off or something. all this brings to mind the fiasco of the chrysler 2.7l engine that failed in thousands of vehicles due to the poor design of that engine. no recall was ever forced upon chrysler for that debacle and i am beginning to think the same thing will apply here also. people spend good money for these flawed vehicles then when something happens the nhtsa and chrysler both basically say the hell with the consumer. there is no way the nhtsa can believe that an engine cradle rotting out in 8-9 year and in a lot of cases less time than that is acceptable. i thought that your organization was here to protect the public and see that these type of things don't happen.please explain to me how and why chrysler is getting away with this. ohhh, i know, no one has died yet !!! *tr

We bought our 2006 chrysler pacifica from the original owner with 110,000 miles i think. the inspection sticker was new and now a year later our entire engine cradle is completely rusted through and wont take a sticker whatsoever. there's no way this kind of rust is normal and when i went online i saw that this is a recurring problem on these cars and a new cradle is 2,500 without installation this is chryslers fault we always washed the car during winter months at the carwash. we bought this car because it had the room great safety features and now i find out its a accident waiting to happen and we gotta eat this cost. im going to our local newspaper because this isn't right and chrysler only helped with cost on so many cars and the same engine cradle fits 04,05 and 06 pacificas so all these cars should be covered because there is obviously something wrong with the material they used. any help on how or who to contact i know were not alone i this complaint. *tr

Took vehicle to mechanic for oil change and was told the subframe and motor mounts were badly rusted and that i should contact the manufacturer immediately. *tr

My car seats move while i am driving automatically. with my seat belt on sometimes i cant touch the pedals. also, my car is stalling and it eats oil nonstop. i have had it checked and nothing is shown as wrong. i see there was a recall for this model and it was done so why is this still happening. seat issue is very dangerous, i have to drive and hold the button forward on the door to stop it from moving. *tr

I took my 2006 chrysler pacifica for new tires and a new york state inspection. the mechanic had the car on the lift and told me the engine cradle sub frame was rusted/rotted out and that the vehicle is unsafe to drive. the vehicle is 8 years old and has only approximately 55,000 miles. the right and left sections of the engine cradle sub frame where there is welding are the only sections of the frame that are rusted/rotted out to the point where you could stick a finger through the rotted out section (can provide pictures if needed). i contacted chrysler's national customer support and was assigned a case number and told to take the vehicle to a locate dealership for digital imaging that would help chrysler determine if it was a factory defect or alternatively owner caused. i did as instructed and was told a few days later that the frame rot was not a factory defect but rather owner caused. the chrysler dealership provided an estimate of repair of approximately $5,000. after a brief internet search, i realized this is a common issue with the chrysler pacifica and is a safety issue that the pacifica owners like myself and the general public have not been made aware of. per my mechanic and other government departments that i have discussed this issue with, if the engine cradle sub frame were to give out while the vehicle is driven, a serious and potentially deadly accident could occur. needless to say, the car will not be driven by my family until repaired as i won't risk the potential consequence. i'm filing this complaint with the hope that at minimum pacifica owners are notified of the potential for frame rot to proactively reduce the chance of the inevitable accident. also, i am disappointed in chrysler for not taking responsibility for this issue as other car manufacturers such as toyota, hyundai and ford have when presented with similar safety issues. *tr

The vehicle was brought in for state inspection on 6/16/14 and failed because the engine cradle was rusted out. *tr

Rust issue on front engine cradle. my mechanic told me that i had a badly corroded engine cradle. we bought the car used and it just turned 71k miles. dealer denied the recall, there is a small window of vehicles manufactured between feb.23, 2004 and march 31,2004, a pretty small window. a couple of calls to chrysler customer assistance has fallen on deaf ears. the dealer and chrysler are not budging. it is the principle of a design problem that chrysler is not fully standing behind. for reference, the chrysler warranty bulletin is no:d-10-34 dated march 16, 2012. subject is listed as (x26) front engine cradle extended warranty 2004-2005 chrysler pacifica's. we have a 2006 and have the same issue and chrysler needs to recall all of the models affected! i have 2 children and a wife and we depend on this vehicle. mechanic states it is not safe to drive!!!! i cannot get any explanation as to quite why that is from chrysler despite numerous contacts with the customer care people from chrysler and/or dealership. i have never seen any type of damage such as this. what needs to be done to fix this problem? thank you for your help. *tr

Vehicle was bought 1 year ago from used car dealership, no carfax available, had 120,000 miles, ran great for 4 months. started having stalling problems, check light coming off/on, had diagnosed as possible fuel pump gage reading wrong, catalytic converter possible. had check light reset, continued to have major stalling of engine at any speed. replaced both primary and secondary fuel pump, catalytic converter, 02 sensor (rear). total repairs $2,718.74, still has same problem. problem when vehicle stalls, loss of power unexpectedly, loss of control due to shutdown causes concern, accident waiting to happen, expenses beyond expectations for general maintenance of vehicle. no help from chrysler dealership. says mileage too high, no warranty for defect, beyond dealership scope of concern for customer. *tr

during a routine inspection of our vehicle the mechanic stated vehicle was in perfect condition except that the subframe (engine cradle) had a one foot section that was completely rusted through. he also stated that since the vehicle had only 76000 miles on it that this should not be occurring. other mechanics in that shop concurred. chrysler had, in the previous two model years (04 & 05), extended the warranties to 10 years/150,000 miles (chrysler document 0004817/#45543/x26) accepting responsibility for a faulty product and covering the expenses incurred by consumer making their vehicles roadworthy and safe. this is truly a safety issue that has not been resolved by the manufacturer as this component supports the engine and front suspension/steering assemblies. calls to chrysler have not been productive. i do not understand their reluctance to address a safety issue that they have addressed in the past. problem has not changed just the model year. hopefully the nhtsa can initiate a safety recall to address this. there are similar complaints concerning this on this site. does there have to be a serious accident before something is done? *tr

When accelarating the veh stalls out but starts right back up. i continues to stutter along and stalls. *tr

I was having problems with my "check engine" light kept coming on. i took it up to my mechanic several times & he couldn't find anything wrong. he finally performed a smoke test. was unable to find any leaks. his computer said i had a small leak detected. he said my fuel pump module was the problem & it would probably cost around $1,000 to fix since he had to drop the gas tank. couldn't get anywhere with chrysler. i've been driving now a year & a half plus now my gascap light is also on. i do have my mechanic check whenever i go get my oil change & he resets the check engine light, but it does come back on within a day. i've been on several websites & this is a chrysler problem that they need to fix. i don't want to end up where i stall out like what i've been reading. *tr

2006 chrysler pacifica. consumer requests reimbursement for a fuel pump replacement. *smd the consumer stated prior to the replacement, she was not informed or notified of a recall, until a google search revealed the recall. also, in february 2013, the catalytic converter was replaced at a cost of $800 and the brake system was replaced at a cost of $500.00.

Noticed a couple of times that the car hesitated when merging on to highway or accelerating on the highway. today however, it did that in town, going about 35 mph and then stalled, check engine light came on and smoke came out from under the hood. now it won't even start. *tr

Obtained car brand new in 2006, yr later had to replace engine, was said they gave us a new one, prior to that we had sunroof issue that still persist to this day 6years later... electrical off. one minute you have gas and next minute literally fuel light is on..fast forward a tad 2007 stalling problems,...fast forward even more 30,000miles later.... stalling allllllllot, especially while i'm driving with my kids. making a u-turn and just simply parking into a space no go.. gas cap light is on, check engine light on.... currently vehicle is at dealership which was charging us $2,632.00 to fix problems, besides overcharging ridiculously, chrysler offered to pay most of bill after doing research and realizing we were getting ripped off, a two day job is now turned into 1week, no vehicle, no loaner.. 6yrs. later failed emissions test is what prompted me to take it to a dealership...now i cannot pass an emissions test nor register my vehicle @ end month>( today). would like to trade, however they low balled me & said $4,000.they cannot get car to reset, and still could not find out why it is stalling. after letting dealership know i have an open case seems like they are singing a different tune...still no car/ no fix... *js

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that the vehicle jerked while driving approximately 15 mph. the vehicle was taken to an independent auto repair shop for a diagnostic test and the technician stated that the motor mount would have to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact stated there were no warnings before the failure occurred, but the oil light came on when the vehicle stalled. the oil was changed and the vehicle was inspected by the dealer who stated there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. the failure mileage was 78,000 and the current mileage was 79,200.

Vehicle gear shift stuck in park even though brake is depressed. tried rocking the vehicle back and forth to see if it was stuck in gear, no change. i conducted an internet search for this problem and found that several chrysler and dodge products have this exact same problem. cause: a small pink piece of plastic that has a spring attached to it, which is a gear locking mechanism, tends to break at about 40-60 thousand miles or sooner. there are no chrysler recalls for this item. the piece seems to cost about $2.00 for chrysler to make however, one will pay $300-$400 or more for the dealer to fix. takes minutes to replace if you know what you are doing. one can find the part online and replace with metal so that it will not break again for about $50. chrysler complaint line states that they will not fix unless nhtsb files a recall complaint. then i may get reimbursed for my cost. the pink plastic piece can break at any time leaving the driver stranded anywhere at any time, e.g. the drive thru., parking structure at night, etc.. *tr

Tl* the contact owns 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that while having regular maintenance performed on the vehicle, she was advised that all motor mounts were broken. the mechanic was not able to determine the reason why the failure occurred. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and the current mileage was 127,000.

Front engine mount separates under heavy acceleration or towing causing engine to raise up and collide into firewall. *tr

2006 chrysler pacifica has had oil changes every 3000 miles and went to have oil changed and all the oil is gone from engine. leaking out of tail pipe. engine seals are gone. not sure what the repair process is yet but it seems there are several others who are experiencing the same problem. chrysler needs to repair these vehicles..... *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. while driving approximately 40 mph the vehicle suddenly stalled. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who stated the engine control module failed. the engine control module was replaced. after the repair the transmission control module light illuminated on the instrument panel and the mechanic stated the transmission control module had to be replaced again. there was a recall under nhtsa campaign id number: 06v432000 (power train:automatic transmission:control module (tcm, pcm)) that may be related to the failure. the dealer was made aware of the failure and stated the vin was not included in the recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 98,000. updated 09/28/11*lj updated 10/07/11*jb

While driving my pacifica at 60 mph the vehicle suddenly jerked and the check engine light came on and the engine was revving high so i slowed down and it was tacking at 6000 rpm while only going 40 mph. i stopped and turned the engine off. when i restarted it shifted normally. a few days later it did it again. then it did it twice in one day. i took it to chrysler and they said there was internal damage and they wanted $1000 just to drop the transmission before they fixed anything.this occurred when the vehicle had 80000 miles on it. when it only had 36000 miles the engine threw a rod and i had to spend $3000 for a new engine. i've since learned that pacifica's burn a quart of oil about every 1000 miles. i would have checked the oil more often had i known this. i traded it in rather then replace the transmission. but not on a chrysler. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that a clicking noise was coming from the top of the engine. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was advised to replace the engines lifters. the vehicle was not repaired. neither the dealer, nor the manufacturer were notified. the failure mileage was 80,000 and the current mileage was 80,200. the vin was unavailable.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that while driving at any speed, the vehicle would lose power and stall without warning. when the vehicle was turned off for a few minutes the function returned to normal. the failure was experienced numerous times. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who performed a diagnostic but was unable to locate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 127,500 and the current mileage was 127,525.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated upon starting the vehicle. the contact also stated that the vehicle would intermittently stall or jerk when accelerating from stops. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and was repaired, but the failure continued. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 55,000.

On april 13, 2011, while driving vehicle at approximately 10 mph and while making a left turn, vehicle suddenly stopped abruptly resulting in a vehicle stall. all electrical power was lost, along with engine stalling. restarted vehicle and proceeded to drive again when it then suddenly started to drive rough for approximately a couple of seconds, as if it again wanted to stall, but didn't. after this, the vehicle drove normal. took vehicle to pepboys on the same day and they diagnosed a 420 and a 700 fault code. on thursday april 14, 2011 took vehicle to alliance chrysler dealer in ft. worth, tx. i explained what had happened and mentioned that my vehicle experienced the same symptoms described in the pcm/fuel pump recall issued against 2006 pacificas. i also mentioned that this recall did not cover my vehicle which they confirmed. however, i raised concerns on whether the recall applicability needed to be expanded to cover other pacificas. the dealer has yet to figure out the problem besides telling me that they confirmed a 420 and 700 fault code which they stated would require me to replace the catalytic converter and the transmission shifting solenoid. i questioned whether the sudden stall of the vehicle could have resulted in a misleading fault code. dealer technician mentioned that the stall could have been caused by a faulty transmission solenoid. i mentioned that my vehicle had shown no indication of a transmission problem with the gear shift. besides, if a faulty transmission shift solenoid is capable of causing a vehicle stall, then this vehicle has a serious design flaw since a stall while driving could result in serious injury or a catastrophic accident. dealer mentioned that mechanic was unable to replicate the failure and would continue to investigate the problem and get back to me. as of april 20, 2011, dealer has been unable to explained why the vehicle stalled. i suggested they perform the 2006 pcm/fuel pump recall fix. *tr

Ive had this car for just over one year. i have replaced 2 motor mounts, 6 months apart. the electric cooling fan motor bearing went bad and you cant replace just the motor, you have to replace both motors, both fans and the shroud ( ridiculous ). my check engine light is on and says fuel cap on dash but i replaced the cap and now as i'm looking on this site i know its probably the gas tank lines cracked. ive also got the sticky gas pedal, transmission bangs into 2nd randomly. my conclusion after reading about so many problems that many people are having with this vehicle is that there should be recalls. i mean jesus were talking about fire hazards and a sticking accelerator potentially causing an accident. nothing but problems with this car at such low miles. never again chrysler. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated that the vehicle would emit a loud noise when the accelerator pedal was depressed. the dealer diagnosed that the motor mounts were failing. the manufacturer was not notified. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 54,000 and the current mileage was 62,000.

Went to start up my wife's 06 chrysler pacifica and the engine was making a ticking noise. i then looked up the information on line to come to my surprise this is a problem in the 3.5 pacifica. i even tried the heavy oil fix and still no luck. chrysler need to fix this problem. i change my oil every 3000 miles with synthetic like clock work. this might be my last chrysler product.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. the contact stated the vehicle would stall and lose all power while traveling at high speeds intermittently. after pulling to the side of the road and restarting, the vehicle would drive normal. the failure recurred on several occasions. the dealer made four attempts to duplicate the failure but to no avail. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. the current mileage was 106,000 and the failure mileage was 87,527.

On february 14, 2011 i was making a left turn at about 5 to 10 miles per hour when my 2006 chrysler pacific stopped. i was barely into the turn when the engine stopped. i had to put the car into park and restart the engine. this has been happening for probably 2 to 3 times a year. usually it happens when i make sharp left turns but this time it was not a sharp turn. i was very concerned this time because there was another car approaching and i was in the middle of the street. i had taken my vehicle into chrysler years ago for a recall and replacement of a part that was supposed to stop the stalling. but it is still occuring. not sure if it is electrical or fuel line or something else. *tr

Car has stalled (engine cuts out completely) without any warning and while being driven at least 4 time. most recent was while merging onto freeway it just stopped, nearly causing fatal accident to my daughter who was driving at the time. complete shut down of car causes the steering wheel to lock with no means of getting to side of road. you're a sitting duck for a crash. fortunately, she got the car in park and restarted it. the car is at stevens creek chrysler dealership (towed there today). i am also in touch with chrysler corporation regarding this flaw and reparations that are due me from this lemon. the dealerships number is 408 248-1800. they are aware i am pursuing my options with this dangerous car and i really don't want it back even if they tell me they've fixed it. i don't trust this problem as it's rampant and cars are being recalled for this reason. it's a blessing my daughter wasn't killed from what this car did.

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica touring. while driving approximately 65 mph, the contact heard a loud tapping noise from the engine area. he checked the oil level which was fine. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that there could be several reasons for the problem but did not inspect it. the failure continued and was not repaired. the failure mileage was 90,000 and the current mileage was 93,000.

When i had my car in to fix a front end problem last year i was told two of the three motor mounts need to be replaced. now when having a tie rod replaced i am told subframe brackets are rotted and need to be replaced. a car that is five years old should not be rotting from normal driving. engine mounts on a car should not go after four years.

My 2006 chrysler pacifica has recently been stalling when turning at low speeds. *tr

I was turning left at about 10 miles per hour and the engine of the car turned off.

Car has had the service engine soon light on for over 6 months. tried to get dealer to honor warranty - 48/50,000 - but had no luck. as of october, 15th, 2010, the car became inoperable due to a heavy knocking sound associated with the engine. i tried relentlessly again to have the dealer honor the warranty. i was told to bring the car in and i did so. their testing found that there is sludge in the motor, whatever that is. the repairs will take $11,000 to fix, which is more than the worth of the vehicle in some cases. i have tried consumer affairs in maryland but the dealer has not budged. the car is still in the dealer's possession. *tr

2006 chrysler pacifica stalling ..... with no warning in middle of intersections and worse on the highway in traffic was told by many dealers that it was the oil switch as the oil light comes on when it happens also was told that it was the incorrect oil filter on my chrysler filters must be used on that engine , this is my wife's car and now it is happening about every time she stops and or left turn , she has been in many situations where she was almost in an accident to the point that she doesn't even drive the car anymore in seeing all the complaints about this i would hope that a recall would be issued before someone looses a life. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. while turning left at approximately 20 mph, the vehicle stalled. the electrical system continued to function and the oil warning light illuminated on. the contact was able to restart the vehicle as it resumed normal operation. the failure recurred three times. the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 73,000 and the current mileage was 74,000.

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pacifica. while driving approximately 35 mph a tapping noise could be heard in the engine. the vehicle was taken to a mechanic who stated that the vehicle should be taken to an authorized dealer to have the failure diagnosed. the contact will have the vehicle diagnosed by the dealer. the failure and current mileages were 41,000.

Loud ticking noise and rattling in the engine. 4th time since buying the pacifica i've had to take it in to get the same issue fixed. the noise sounds like the car is a truck. the issue is the valves, shafts and shaft head. i was also advised that if i were to continue to drive the pacifica, the engine could blow. this is a defect when they made this car. i know for a fact it's not the dealer i take it to b/c i've been to one in ga, one in orlando, fl and now in miami, fl. i knew what it was before i took it in and every single time chrysler looks at me like, "just another women complaining b/c she doesn't like the sound." it's b/c i don't want my engine to blow in my face while driving. i am in tune with my pacifica and know that sound well. they have had to change the valve shafts each time and even a shaft head. i've owned the car brand new 12/2006, no miles, have had it service regularly like warranty states yet the problem keeps coming back. it has 58,900 miles on it so it shouldn't have this issue almost every year. last incident has been selected. previous incidents, every year since 2007. *tr

I have a 2006 chrysler pacifica that emits a strong natural gas smell. the problem started 3 days ago (2/20/10). i went to the chrysler dealership today to fix the problem. they confirmed the smell of natural gas, but could not offer a solution to the problem. they drove the car and upon braking and acceleration the fumes were emitted. the chrysler mechanics said that 'they could not find anything mechanical that would cause the smell.' my lungs hurt and my nerves are really getting bad! just by driving around trying to find someone who can fix it! i drive with the windows down and i'm still affected by the fumes. we just had a snow storm and i'm freezing in my car, trying to breathe! i live in detroit, we are the hardest hit by this recession and i need a car to keep my job! i have to travel to my customers. i don't have another vehicle, nor can i afford one. please help. *tr

Extreme oil consumption have to put an xtra bottle of oil in every other week...dealership told me nothing they can do and its common on every pacifica... / abs sensor problems -light kept turning on randomly and brakes fluttering randomly when trying to stop/ faulty engine temperature sensor- car overheated several times causing major smoke to billow out of hood had to replace sensor/ tie rod replacement before 40k miles/ now gas pedal sticking along with separate terrible engine noises-- sounds like struggling and making a hollow sound as if you are blowing into an empty glass bottle..no one can tell me what is causing it or how to fix it..nothing but a money pit with one problem after another! very upset that chrysler is getting away with this while we all suffer and keep throwing our hard earned money out the window! *tr

My 2006 chrysler pacific has tapping noise coming from the engine and dealers don't seem to know what's wrong. another check it and said its the lifters. warranty is on the car and the noise is annoying. chrysler need to fix the problem. *tr

Engine dies during left turns. at least third incident occurred today (12/8/09). this is a major safety issue. *tr

Pressed the gas pedal and a loud noise like a bump came from the engine. took the car to the dealer and they said it was the motor mount. they said the motor mounts are on back order and they don't know when they could do it. *tr

Valve lifter noise cause by sheared off pins on lifter shart causing shaft to rotate and oil feeds not supplying lifters. i had this repair done @ 77,000 miles in september 2009. it has happened again in february 2011 @ 104,000 miles. *tr
