2005 chrysler 300. consumer writes in regards to unsatisfactory repair services at dealership. *smd the consumer stated the air bag warning light illuminated. the consumer contacted the dealer in response to a recall notice. the dealer charged the consumer $67 and told him the air bag warning light had nothing to do with the recall they also claimed to have performed the recall service fix. on the way home, she noticed the turn signal lights were no longer working properly. a couple of days later, she started to hear a crunching, grinding sound when the steering wheel was turned. the vehicle was returned to the dealer. the technician did confirm, the turn signal lights were not working. however, he stated it had nothing to do with the air bag service. an inspection revealer a broken clock spring in the steering column. *jb

There has been no incident. i'm just concerned about how much more time i have to wait for the driver's side airbag replacement/part. i received my notice on june 22, 2015 and since then there has been no response or other notification. should i contact the dealerships to see if they have it or just continue to wait for another notice from the nhtsa? really would like to hear from you regarding this matter. i have to drive children to and from daycare and lord knows i don't need anything to happen to me during one of these trips. just entered date because it was required. nothing has happened with the airbag at this time.

This is the second recall letter i have received. i mailed it in july around the middle of the month,now i have received another recall letter. i don;t want to wait until my air bags deploy. where do i take my vehicle too.i don't know where to take it, where in my area do i take it too. i live in mclean county ky.
