Vehicle is trying to stall out while driving and in sitting position.always happens right after i re-fuel. it starts jerking, sometimes it is a slight jerk but today it jerked very hard that it really scared me. also when starting the vehicle it struggles to start up. it will continue to not drive right for a little bit of time and then it goes back to driving fine until i re-fuel again. it started about a month ago and has never stopped since then. i have looked up recalls for this issue and it shows i don't have one. this really needs to be checked out and become a recall
Vehcile has several error lights that come and go. i cannot get chrysler dealers in brevard, florida to do warranty work. everyone is in danger as the car is no longer safe. i have begged for tow ins, rentals and warranty diagnoses. i have begged for chrysler to send a trained rep from out of town to investigate. this has gone on for years, now the below dealerships owns both the dealers in my region and refuse to do work to diagnoe per warranty at either. i had a free oil change package from chrysler from a previous service related complaint. the dealer scheduled an appointment, i gave them all my info. i also ordered an expensive part to have installed, which is nonreturnable. i paid for and picked up part. checked my car in. then ross and craig, also ed o'donnell i was told were all texted by ross and upon checking in vehicle was told "sorry we will not service your vehicle or install your part. this has been an ongoing issue and i was also told by ed o'donnell on a previous complaint that i was welcomed to return. did i mention the package expired shortly there after. also shortly there after leaving the work they did previously, the symptoms now re present themselves. ironically. also, it was admitted by phone that they had backmoffice discussions with another dealer in the area gator chrysler. i am now stuck with a part they will not install or refund. they will not change my oil or rotate tires. they will not fessmup to the vandalism of my vehicle that occurred on their lot in 2018. they have destroyed my car and now all kinds of engine lights come on to discredit me. head the warning, the below dealer is in question :: boniface-hiers chrysler dodge jeep ram 1775 e merritt causeway merritt island, fl 32952 driving directions sales 1-321-452-8181 service 1-321-452-8181 parts 1-321-452-8181
Leaving for work this morning and vehicle chute off as making a right turn. upon arriving to work the engine shut in the middle of an intersection. sounded like a weak turn over but battery is fine and alternator is ok as well and this poses a safety issue this has happened before.
While in motion the vehicle will shut down - steering wheel locks, brakes dont brake, no sensor lights. vehicle starts after 30+ mins but no mechanic can locate the problem due to no sensor lights. this is a major health issue when the vehicle stalls in high traffic areas and can't be moved. at this time, it has happened on 3 occassions within a two week span.

I have had this car 3 months and the following this has happen numerous times over 10 and almost cost me my life along with family members. 1. while driving the vehicle the engine shuts off for no reason with no warning lights. i must put the car in park and put brake on to restart car and the engine just continue to turn over before it catches. the vehicle has stalled/shut -off on me going over a railroad track with me and my grandkids in the car. i am so blessed no train was coming. 2. while driving the car will also shift unexpected to neutral. 3. when i go to accelerate the car will hesitate and jerk and act like it may be stuck in between gears. i have taken the vehicle back to the dealership and the salesperson drove the car and it happen to him as he was driving and came back and said i can't tell you the problem but you do have a major problem it shut off on him as he was driving it on a major road. i have taken it to a shop left it over night and the mechanic states you have major problems with this car. it is unsafe to drive. all this problem with the car has been while the car was in motion on city streets and highway. all of this started january 4, 2019. the 2015 chrysler 200 is a death trap and lemon!

Hvac controls blower motor keeps going out and resistor and acuator i have replaced it 3 times . transmission shift hard violently hard shifts . and suspension is is unsafe whobble at at high speed mechanic cant find problem i've spent $2400 dollars replacing suspension parts and still cannot find the cause of the death whobble at highway speeds. i am located in new albany mississippi .
The car has stalled many times and then will not start right away but will start after a few tries.this has happened on city streets while at a stop and also in the driveway while moving.
A couple of weeks ago my temperature gauge was going up oddly fast and then i would get to alerts simultaneously 'engine temperature hot' and 'service elec. throttle control' i turn off the car for a few minutes and the gauge would go down. i'm not sure how concerned i should be or if this is a common error.
Had a constant leak of oil. took it in to the dealer and it was the oil cooler gasket housing that had a leak due to a crack or defective gasket housing. the oil cooler had to be replace. i have heard that this is a common problem with the year and engine model by other mechanics. had to replace the oil cooler.
Vehicle abruptly stalls and will not shift while driving. the speed of the vehicle will increase while on cruise control.
On december 8th, the vehicle had turned off on me while in motion. it gave me a slight chance to pull over. this has happened 3 times since december 8th. 2 more times before that date in 2017 (the same year i got this car) turns out there was no oil left in my car, even those my dash board said there was 34% of oil left. i took the car to my mechanic to figure out why the oil was running out so fast. whether there was a leak or something. turns out the piston rings in the car are bad, to fix this he said the engine would have to be taken part fully and fixed which could also show more underlying issues. (if any)
Takata recall, on the dash it says engine warming wait to start, i have to press start and off 7 to 15 times before it starts and sometimes it just reads engine warming wait to start
Complaint - engine when i tried to turn on my car it would not crank and it said engine warming. battery and engine light came on. called someone for a jump battery was fine but would not start please help us we just went in grocery store came out and it would not start it was in park with park brake set ..and allso a few times after letting of the accelerator it took it an excessive amount of time for engine idle to drop back to normal
Randomly if i hit a bump my airbag light will come on. now for a 2015 200 limited why am i needing to replace the whole starter assembly and now to have to replace the air shutter grille. the vehicle headlamps are extremely poor. it's very hard to see see on all highways, side streets etc. now the traction stabilizers light came on as i was backing in to a parking space as well as my brakes just started making a squealing noise out no where as driving on the street. there no reason why there should not be a recall on multiple vehicle issues as most people are stating. why isn't there a number i can call to file a compliant with all the vehicle issues i've experienced? this just crazy then to have to come outta $1,300.00 for vehicle repairs is crazy! why does this vehicle stall when the oil is low shameful for the vehicle to stop and and barely start back! tires sucks outside mirrors always have to adjust this brand is garbage!! people everywhere is having issues with the vehicle starting.. please do something about these vehicle issues. there is no reason why this vehicle is 3 years old and is stalling this is embarrassing. on top of having to pay a note that ridiculous. i want to be compensated in the amount of the vehicle repairs.
Cylinder head failure, needed cylinder, valve, and gasket replaced. the car started running poor, misfire, engine light came on. i replaced spark plugs and coil hoping that would fix the issue. still, misfire went to dealer had work done. this is a well know issue with pentastar they need to be accountable.
My airbag light stays on permanently. it used to come on intermittently. i have had the problem fixed twice by a chrysler repair facility. i was told not to worry it's just a wiring harness problem. i'm scared because i've seen airbag recalls and i don't know why my car hasn't been recalled yet. my car also seems to be jerking more frequently. it jerks sometimes when i'm accelerating. i was told this was normal because of the type of engine. i inquired about this not long after i bought the car in 2015. the jerking seems to be getting worse. my check engine light stays on. i can provide info that my airbag sensor problem was fixed twice.

The car stalls while driving, when coming to a stop or when sitting still, it does not seem to do it after the vehicle warms up, also when it stalls it is does not want to start right away. sometimes taking several attempts to get it started. it started mid october and has been happening since.
On october 10th and 12th my car slowly started shutting down while driving and gave an error message to "shift to p and press start" i did this and the car started up again and continued to run. on october 15th on my drive to work this happened again, thank goodness i was on a side street so i could pull over to get the car started again. it started after a few tries and i made it back home but the car completely died in my driveway. nothing worked not even the unlock buttons for the passenger doors. i take a major interstate to work and could have been seriously hurt had i made it that far this morning or hurt others. somebody needs to do something about this, i have read plenty of other complaints about the same model of car doing this exact same thing. my car only has approximately 50,000 miles on it.
Takata recall my vehicle shut down on me last night while driving for the umpteenth time since i've had it. i've contacted chrysler but of course they act as if they know nothing. i got serviced for two recalls one in 2016and the other 2017 and neither have remedied the issue. there is no code, no lights come on or anything. the only warning warning that i get is for me to put it in park in order to restart it. i'll never purchase another chrysler in my life.

While driving at about 25 mph, my car lost power with no warning. all of a sudden, i saw the error message "shift to park to start". when attempting to restart, it hesitated in doing so.

Three times in the last two weeks my car has turned off completely while driving. each time it has happened as i was braking. took several minutes to get the car re-started and left me stranded dangerously in the middle of the road. there has already been a recall for this exact issue which my car has been serviced for and yet it is still happening.
This vehicle when i purchased it has been having multiple problems. the transmission has been slipping into neutral while i am driving at least twice a week. i have to pull over cut the vehicle off and re start it. also there's always issues while i try and start the vehicle. i have taken it to five different mechanics to fix the problem. new alternator,new battery,five different diagnostics made. the extended warranty mentions that i need to bring it to the dealer. which i have twice. they re set the software which did not fix the problem. it still slips into neutral. cottman transmission did a diagnostic that i paid for out of pocket. they informed me that this problem and the codes that came up are manufacturing issues. associated with bad electrical wiring as well as a bad set up for the transmission. also the same model make and year for this vehicle there was a re call for the same exact problem and code. the extended warranty company covers these problems but told me to bring it to chrysler to fix. chrysler has checked my vehicle twice and re set the system for the light to come off. of coarse the problem was not resolved. now everyone is still pointing the fingers at each other. this has been going on for over a year. my factory warranty should fix it under the power train warranty also silverrock should fix it under my extended warranty contract. there has been no resolution. i have to consistently take off work to maintainance this car. please help.
The first incident of the car stalling occurred in a parking lot on 8/18/18, it just shut off while still in gear. i put it in park and restarted it and i was able to continue driving. later that same day, i was driving home, thankfully on a quiet road. it started to sputter and shut off again while still in gear. somehow i was able to pull to the shoulder of the road. this time, i could not get it restarted, so i called my roadside assistance who towed the car to the place i purchased it. they changed the spark plugs and said they were oxidized and were probably the cause. i picked up the car on 8/21/18 and it drove ok. the next day, i was driving home and as i turned the corner onto a busier road, it stalled again while still in gear. i could not get it to restart at all. this was quite scary even though i was over as far to the right side of the road as i could be with my hazard lights on. i called roadside assistance again and i received a text that they would be there in less than 45 minutes, and then another stating they would be there in less than 20 minutes. the sheriff that showed up said she wasn't waiting around for 75 minutes and forced me to have my car towed by the county tow company as she said it would be faster. my tow company showed up less than 2 minutes after theirs did, but i was told too bad and they took my car to impound. i had to come up with almost $300 to get my car out and then i called my roadside and they switched me over to chrysler roadside who was able to tow the car to the nearest chrysler dealer, where it now sits. i told them i am afraid to drive this car now and i want it fixed. i am thinking it is this is the electrical system recall r24
Driving down highway and car shut off. the dash lights went out but control lights stayed on. took 3 attempts to start again. 2nd time this has happened.

Car jolts and jerks when changing gears. the transmission is slipping and when driver pushes pedal to accelerate there is a delay and causes a jolt. driver has to make a complete stop for the transmission to keep up or it jolts. unsafe on traffic conditions and unable to control jolts and jerks.
Vechile showed no warning of over heating remind u this is almost the luxury model 200s.. also emission always comes up with check engine even when i change gas.. also fuel cap isn't always a tight fit even threw mopar pops up as cap loose! have a terrible suspension problem being a sports model with 19inch stock rims very pour design on lower control arm bushings and struts!

i started to feel the jerk randomly while the car switched gears. took it for an oil change and told the dealership/mechanic three different times. each time when i picked it up, they told me they were unable to see the problem after driving it around. it happens sporadically but when it does, the car feels like it ran into a wall and jerks hard. if i was able to make it happen i would so the mechanic could see. over the past few days i have noticed it has been occurring more frequently. this is taking place while in the highway driving 55 mph, with the cruze control on and still continues with it off. the check engine light also has come on.
