While driving, the car stops and the light flashes. first time it happen was 9/18/18 the car completely stop while i was driving, luckily, it wasn't a lot of traffick and the second time i was proceeding to a stop light 9/20/18. i am nervous to even drive the car but i have no other choice to drive it for the moment.

Takata recall my car stalls and want to shut down at times when it comes to a stop, but at times it does shut down when it comes to a stop

I have the issue with right side seat deployment squib 1 -circuit open,i went to dealers they are saying its not in warranty so can you please updated the recall on this air bag issue. power train: i went to dealer nearly 4 times every time they update the transmission and when ever i step on brake,can will move forward and will stop it because my rpm is increasing high and its car is stopped all of sudden on the road.please recall my vehicle

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. while the vehicle was stationary, it shifted into neutral spontaneously. the contact was unable to switch into the reverse or drive gears. the contact disconnected the battery to turn off the vehicle. upon restarting the vehicle, it would not turn off and was stuck in the neutral gear. the failure recurred. the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. the contact purchased a new battery, as recommended by an independent mechanic, but the failure recurred. a dealer was not made aware of the failure. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 55,800.

This vehicle has a shudder and a jerking motion at approximately the 28 to 35 mph range. also switching the gears from neutral to drive or reverse will freeze. have to shut the vehicle off and try again. as far as the suspension, the left rear has made a sound almost from the beginning when vehicle was purchased. it makes a clunking sound if going over a bump, or hit a deviation in the road. was told for the longest time couldn't find anything. now all of a sudden 1 shock is bad.

Car jolts and jerks when changing gears. the transmission is slipping and when driver pushes pedal to accelerate there is a delay and causes a jolt. driver has to make a complete stop for the transmission to keep up or it jolts. unsafe on traffic conditions and unable to control jolts and jerks.

My car reves up the rpms when im accelerating and it feels as though the transmission is slipping.

Car would occasionally shift very rough between 2 of the gears, not exactly sure which ones. vehicle intermittently through itself into neutral while driving. the above incidents were intermittent until the following incident occurred. before leaving for the day, attempted to start vehicle. parking brake light began to flash and message displayed various service warnings. vehicle would not start or go into gear. removed battery cable to attempt a reset of whatever the underlying issue is. waited some time and reconnected battery cable, no effect. after trying for some time the vehicle started normally. after this incident the once intermittent issues began to occur frequently. very rough shifting, far beyond what should be considered normal. car began to throw itself into neutral when reversing or driving on public roads normally. loud unnatural, (sounds like its having a very hard time completing the normal mechanical motion) clunk can be heard much louder then what it should be. after this continued while trying to complete a normal workday commute the vehicle went into and stayed in 2nd or 3rd gear(based on speed threshold). began to research recalls, a major recall for these exact issues was issued and the dealer listed one of them as complete based on 'inspection' instead of replacing a major component with the issue, the transaxel assembly. all of the issues occurring coincide with this and one other recall. the other recall was listed as 'repaired'. either the recalls were not completed or the repairs and inspection are not sufficient.

Takata recall my 2015 chrysler 200 started displaying service air bags , and then the service engine light came on after that it shut off twice and now it won't crank up. but the dash lights stay on and the radio playing, so i had to disconnect the battery. each time the car shut off, i was driving and i was on a major road in the city doing the time period people is getting off work. the car is parked in my yard and will not crank, i believe it is a electrical probably.

Car jerks a lot when pulling off and stopping

i started to feel the jerk randomly while the car switched gears. took it for an oil change and told the dealership/mechanic three different times. each time when i picked it up, they told me they were unable to see the problem after driving it around. it happens sporadically but when it does, the car feels like it ran into a wall and jerks hard. if i was able to make it happen i would so the mechanic could see. over the past few days i have noticed it has been occurring more frequently. this is taking place while in the highway driving 55 mph, with the cruze control on and still continues with it off. the check engine light also has come on.

When i was on the highway my car went from drive to neutral and back to drive resulting in a sudden jump from the car. i went to the dealer and they just reflashed my transmission instead of fixing the actual problem

I was in the middle of driving when my car without warning began to shutdown. and since i haven't been able to start up the car . the battery completely lost life in which i don't understand because the car was in very good shape .the miles on the car is approximately 67,500 it was 56,100 when i purchased it .

1) i was driving on a city street 40 mph and the car lost power and stopped on the middle of street in a very unsafe position, i tried to restart the car but it only made the start noise and did not work anymore. 2)the airbag service light is on for more than 4 months.

After turning my car on, i put the car in reverse to back out of the driveway, and after backing up and putting the car into drive, the car stalled. another time, i came to a stop sign and while tryig to accellerate, the car stalled. it has stalled at stop lights, stop signs, and there have only been a battery light come on the dashboard after the car is stalled and in electrical mode. there is no warning or indication anything is wrong then the car will die and will be unable to restart for a few mimutes. i had the alternator and spark plugs replaced yesterday, and i got about 100 feet from my house and stalled at a stop sign this morning. this primarily comes when i accellerate from a stop, or slow speed.

Vehicle was in motion on freeway. as i applied the brake to slow the vehicle down, it suddenly accelerated. continued brake pressure brought about the slowing of the vehicle. the unwanted acceleration was momentary but frightening as i was in traffic. this is a well known problem with the 9 speed transmission in this and other vehicles with no known fix. make chrysler take these off the road!!!

My car shifts to neutral while in motion stalls while in motion all on a highway

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. the contact stated that the gears independently shifted from drive to neutral and the vehicle stalled without warning. the dealer (northgate chrysler dodge jeep ram, 8536 colerain ave, cincinnati, oh 45251, (513) 385-3900) was notified of the failure. the dealer had not diagnosed or repaired the vehicle because the contact had not scheduled an appointment. the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign numbers: 15v470000 (electrical system) and 16v529000 (power train), although the failure was identical. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 101,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. while the vehicle was in the park position, the instrument panel displayed that the vehicle was in neutral. in addition, the vehicle failed to power off. the vehicle was taken to perry chrysler dodge jeep ram (2340 national city blvd, national city, ca 91950, (619) 477-1234) where it was diagnosed that the transaxle wiring harness and the battery dead cell failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. the approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. while driving at an unknown speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle reversed instead. the contact had to depress the brake pedal several times with extreme pressure in order to stop the vehicle. the contact also stated that before the vehicle was shifted into drive, it would accelerate rapidly into traffic. the contact had to slam on the brake pedal again to stop the vehicle. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the contact also mentioned that the cruise control was not operating correctly. the vehicle was taken to chrysler jeep dodge ram 24 (1020 belmont st, brockton, ma 02301, (781) 961-1550) where it was diagnosed that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 11,000.

Takata recall my car is stuck in neutral the gear knob will turn but it's not switching gears and it also says service park brakes and i know my brakes are good. i've looked online and a lot of people with the same car is having the same problem. it happens when you're riding down the road but this particular time it was parked. that can be very dangerous. if more than one person is having the same problem then something must be wrong.

When accelerating car shudders/ when brakes are applied at speeds of 20+ car shakes. transmission races itself going up and down hill having trouble switching gears in an automatic transmission. trouble shifting gears. car has shut off while driving /switched to neutral by itself.

When i'm driving down the road it loses power n stalls n then takes off n does it again later down the road or at take off plat a stop sign does the same thing

This is an intermittent problem. the car rpm's go up , but the car is not accelerating in the manner in which it should when traveling 35 miles owe hour. when this happened today the number 2 was displayed near the d (drive) icon on the dash. the car also makes a loud thumping noise( coming from the front of the car) on occasion when going about 35 miles per hour. i have 28k miles on the vehicle and an extended 7 year warranty. i took it to the dealership-stevens creek chrysler . they said they could not recreate the problem and charged me $200. this issue has happened 4 times before i took it to the dealership and one time after it was in the dealership last week. the vehicle was at the dealership on may 24, 2018.

'takata recall' after the 2 initial recalls, park brake came on while driving and transmission won't shift out of neutral. same issue as previously recalled but still not the fix!!!!

Takata recall when i drive my car (especially on the highway when accelerating) it seems to not want to shift into gear. it makes a weird sound like it's trying but it doesn't shift until i hit about 62 mph. one time i was driving and stopped at a red light and when i tried accelerating my gear went all the way into the red and i had to pull over shut my car off and completely restart it. also sometimes when i brake, it seems like it accelerates first and then slows down. i've tried having someone look at it but it just so happens it didn't do it when someone test drove it. it does it 9/10 times for me though. i received a letter about a recall but i can't find it which is the only reason i had looked into this situation more. it seemed like many cars of my make model and year were doing exactly what i had been trying to explain to the body shop however when i put my vin in to check, it said my car had zero open recalls. i still wanted to make a report just in case it had been missed.

I have a file with a complete timeline with the incidents upon request. i am now beginning to really loose any faith in the chrysler product and the corporate office. still under power train warranty. but this last recall has thrown me over the edge of considering new company. i had an appointment with local dealership chrysler for the safety recall that is still open. they couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. i make appointment bc my car keeps loosing ot power and dies or almost dies/.my car lost all of its power while i was driving down the freeway at a constant moving pace with other cars. my car looses all power and i cant even steer the steering wheel and i work into the middle lane. where freight liner almost hits me in the [xxx] end and swerves to miss me and overcorrects and winds up almost going over the bridge with a concrete wall saving him from ending up on the lower freeway. once we got through the shock of what just happened. i try to get car to start. it wont even kick over and i cant get it ot if neutral. i call chrysler corporate bc if i could have gotten the recall fixed sooner this would have been prevented. they tow to chrysler and we wait 2 more weeks while they get to the car. meanwhile i am having to pay everyday for a rental car. which was over $500 and i am a single divorced parent of 2 children. 1 child recently passed from a rare disease at age 7 and my only son just started college in conway and i am so proud and want to support him in this move. at the end of 2 weeks i go to pick up the car and i am billed for 300 for a new battery and diagnostic test. i ask about the safety recall & why is was not done when that is the xavcrt reason we made the appointment? they overlooked that and needed to go do that. this whole experience cost me more than $1000. with time i had to leave work and all their calls to the chrysler . parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable ...

Sometime when putting car in park it will tell you it is not in park and will not let you turn car off until you shift it into another gear and then shift back into park. radio sometimes will not come on.

My car keeps shifting into neutral cant excel the gas when it does this. as i am driving along put foot on gas and doesn't do anything then all of a sudden shifts back into driving. i cant pin point it happens periodically. this is a hazard and dont know what to do to get it fixed garage says if it is not doing to when i bring to them they cant do anything. please help me i do not want to be in a crash because of car not shifting into gear. i told them about the recall on vehicles they said mine isn't on list but it is doing what the recall says so where am i to go from here. it is still under warranty and i would like it fixed before i get killed in my car. have already had a couple close calls on freeway. not a happy camper. happens on side roads main roads and highways expressways last time it happened on 4 27 2018 i would like it fixed

Upon shifting into drive from park the car hesitates and when moving from the brake position to acceleration the car stalls while in motion

I have a 2015 chrysler 200 s i have searched the recall database and it says all recalls have been performed. the vehicle has had issues since i have bought it and to no satisfaction has anything been completed. lights on my dashboard are flashing and the screen is flashing different systems are malfunctioning. it sits in my driveway i am afraid to move it although now it says it has a misfire and the service awd light is on. when i did drive it the service transmission light comes on and the car will not drive past 1500 rpm.

Transmission has a harsh shift & slips at times. i've taken it to the dealer 4 times with the same complaint. chrysler's corporate won't address the complaint because there's no trouble codes or check engine light. i have less than 3000 miles before my warranty expires.

I had just left my house and was driving 25 mph when my chrysler 200 cut off. the screen read, shift to park to start. i shifted into park and tried to restart the car but it didnt start. then i waited about 30 seconds and tried to start it again and it started. this was the second time i had this problem. everytime the car shut off, it was after driving only a few minutes at 25 mph. i almost got hit by another car both times and it was pretty scary because i often drive with my three yr old. the car is a lemon and chrysler should give everybody their money back or most of it. chrysler is playing with peoples lives and recalling it doesnt solve the problem.

Takata recall: my car had a recall on it for the transaxle wire harness. i took it in to get fixed and my car has been stalling out. it had loss of motive power. it seems to be getting worse every day and the recall was suppose to fix it. it has almost caused a few accidents. i will hit the gas to go and my car will not move then when i take my food off the car it jults and speeds off. this happens when i stop at a stop sign also a stop light. there are no issues when i'm driving on a highway. it is only if i have to stop or go. i also have issues if i start my car and don't let it sit for s few minutes. if i start my car and go to back out it will feel like someone is hitting my break and letting go. like it won't accelerate right.

The car states that the airbags need to be serviced. i have had this checked out before and the dealership reset the system, but the warning keeps coming back. also, i have been having issues with my transmission. i have had this checked out before and and the dealership hooked it up to their computer system, but i have been having constant issues with the transitioning of the gears. it jumps alot and runs rough. my car also has been stalling in the middle of driving and while parked. just recently the car isn't even starting. it takes awhile for it to start up. the check engine light is on too and i received a message that states that i need to service my transmission.

Vehicle stutters while driving came to a red light and my car almost shut off went to the dealer where i purchased the car less than a month ago and they tried telling me this is normal this is a constant thing i have 3 young children and it is a serious safety issue ,this is not an intermittent problem

Since the first day i bought this car i noticed there was a hard jolt when it shifted gears. i took it back to the dealership right away and they found that it needed new transmission mounts. once they fixed it and i got the car back, the problem still continued. i took it back again and they found that the chip needed an update so they took it to the chrysler dealership for the update and further inspection. when i got the car back the problem was still there. i contacted the dealerships and they told me that this model year car is known for having a rough transmission and that i have to pretty much deal with it. the jolting happens every time i accelerate and it's pretty violent, it doesn't feel safe. the roughest jolting happens between 2nd and 3ed gear and it feels like you've been rear-ended causing you to pump your breaks. the jolting can also be felt when you go from park to drive, from drive to reverse and reverse to drive or park.

On thursday 03/8/2018 and saturday 03/10/2018 we started our vehicle without incident and traveled less than 1/4 of a mile down our street when a warning alarm sounded and the dash board read something like, "pull over and place vehicle in park in order to start." when we tried to start (key-less car) it would not start right way and made an almost grinding sound. after about 30 seconds to a minute, eventually it started. i do see 2 recalls for this vehicle which describe the vehicle stalling without warning but when i place my vin in the search it does not identify any recalls on this vehicle. the recall numbers i believe may relevant to our vehicle is chrysler's r24 and s55.

My car has stalled while driving, while almost immediately losing ability to steer the car. i repeatedly would have to put the car in park and try to restart the car in order to get the car home. as well as having a airbag light that comes on when every i over bumpy roads.

At low speeds carhas and very strong powerful,jerk thatcan injure and persons neck.also when aproaching and offramp,toget on it staulces out ,this most of time itook it and dealer and they put and scanner on it then they said they upgradedthe computer,it lasted for 3 days.now its back worst then before.02

I have a chrysler 200c awd 2015 that is continually sabotaged/refusal to fix by various chrysler dealers since complaining about a warranty fix issue early on. ever since its been a series a mishaps since going to the dealer. gator chrysler of melbourne, fl and bonafice heirs chrysler of merritt island, fl both aggressively try to get me to trade the vehicle in instead of fixing it. repeatedly they state they are not hearing the issues that are not easy to fix, ie transmission hangup between 4th and 5th gear. the car is fixed for various issues that always require me to bring it back. i would like someone from your agency to pull all records relating from chrysler, and both of the aforementioned dealers. the phone records and call logs are crucial to the investigation. also i opened arbitration that was ignored and i feel the car is a lemon. chrysler at this point refuses to fix the car to standards. each time they say and list on the paperwork that they will be doing a 16 multipoint inspection. repeatedly this is stated to be done, but the timeline of fixes do not align. i'm not smart enough and need an engineer from chrysler to physically come to a local location to inspect the vehicle. scott pelley and secret shoppers should be done mirroring this scenerio as hearsay is this is common practice given the number of elderly in this area. i can't formally make this accusation, but from missing tires, mysterious mishaps and then being out the vehicle, stood up for rentals, etc. the main point now is i was told the coolant would be checked standard in a multipoint inspection, but it was not because when i left bonafice heirs chrysler it immediately overheated. they are breaking the car to get back at me and make me look noncredible in the disorganization. i just know its all fishy and is beyond me at this point to audit, but needs to be done for safety.

Car was purchased used 8/1/17 for my daughter going to college. car would not start on weekend test drive, they replaced the battery. i did get dealer to fix 3 open recalls. sept 2017 my daughter was driving at college and car broke down while at a light, would not start. . got towed to dealer and it started. the dealer found an open code to replace fuse panel and completed fix. dec 23 2017, car died while driving, however started 5 minutes later. jan 2018, car would not start - jumped and it started. 1 hour later would not start or respond to jump. towed back to dealer and next day when they got to it started right up. feb 6 2018, car died while daughter driving it at 35-40 mph, she managed to get to the shoulder. after 10 minutes the car started and she took it to the dealer. they found a code to replace the pcm. feb 18 2018 the car would not start. this car has had several recalls and now i will not let my daughter drive this car as her campus is 2.5 hours away and in the mountains - could not imagine what would happen if she was driving over the mountains and the car died. it is sitting in my driveway as i try to work with the dealer to buy back this car. chrysler should be ashamed, this is obviously a known issue yet they can't fix it and are putting peoples lives at risk. i do not have the ability to attach service records at this time but i do have them.

The makes a rattling noise when it start for some reason , i don't know if it normal and while i'm driving and trying to accelerate it makes that noise to. it makes the noise every day .
