Problems with 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Both tail lights have stopped working at the same time. not a fuse, it's a malfunction within the light itself.

I purchased my vehicle'2015 chevy tahoe lt on july 1, 2019 i have had intermittent glitches in the electrical system. the headlights, dash lights, and mylink touchscreen will completely black out and then come back on. however, when this happens the steering wheel locks up for a split second. this is happening while driving, at speeds over 50mph, during the night and day. it was suspected to be the alternator or battery, after replacing the alternator there was no change in the behavior. it continues to happen. the service stabilitrack warning will also pop up after the power is restored. this issue is very dangerous and after reading dozens of forums it's clear this is not an isolated incident. this has happened over and over at least 20 times since july 2019, randomly and completely unexpectedly.

I put on the brakes and the interior lights flicker it is distracting while driving at night. seems to happen while car is running on the cooler side or just starting. this has been happening since we purchased the vehicle. i have done some research and it seems that i am not the only 2015 chevy tahoe owner who is experiencing this issue.

Driver side seat buckle doesn't latch at all times. also all interior overhead lights 'disco lights' flicker when the brake pedal is pressed or the turn signal is used.

When turning on the brights on my 2015 chevytahoe the dash screen will flash on and off, as well as shut off the cruise control when on. in addition, the stabilitrak will flash an error message. in addition to all of this the headlights flash while driving. at night this is very scary and harmful. these electrical issues need to be corrected!

Upon pressing brakes headlights flash, interior light flash, oil gage and rpms fluctuate all over. stabilitrack sensor comes on. upon accelerating to about 60-65the car brakes for itself. doors lock, lights flash. losing power steering when shifting gears

While driving on the highway at high speeds, 70-80 mph, steering became extremely difficult for brief periods. often times it was immediately following actuation of the automatic window switch. it was accompanied with a lot of the loss of electrical power, a flickering control panel, abs light, stab trak, brake assist, and park assist warnings. a/c would stop, radio would turn off, the dashboard would flicker, then i would have to acknowledge all of the warnings in order to clear the issue. steering was tough, though controllable, but i question the ability of a less experienced drive to be able to handle the same problem at those speeds. this has happened before at lower speeds, usually while backing up to park. at lower speeds the suv would cut off completely. at higher speeds, the stall was recoverable, very fortunate in this matter. unable to get the issue to repeat at the dealership and it is very inconsistent. usually resets itself once the car is turned off and restarted.

Heavy moisture is accumulating in the front left headlight with no cracks in the light. it is causing the left front turn signal to malfunction with a warning on our instrument panel. this causes a dangerous situation when when making left turns as the left turn signal is inoperative. chevrolet is not accepting ownership of the faulty design, or part, or system and wants us to assume responsibility for the quoted $1200 in repair costs just to replace one headlight assembly. the extended warranty we purchased also won't cover it. i'm finding out through research that this is a common problem on this vehicle. just over 50k miles on the vehicle! these should be recalled!

All of the dome lights in my tahoe flash when i brake or put on the left turn signal. a simple google search shows that this seems to be a fairly common problem with specifically the 2015 tahoe.

While driving at night when applying the brakes the truck will shut off .all power will cut off ( truck will cut offf, no lights , all power shuts off . i will pop the hood move the battery post it hi the battery area and the power comes back on

Vehicle randomly loses steering control and flashes warning lights. at times, xm radio will not play. at one time, vehicle shut off and would not resart for approximately 10 seconds. occasionally, the warning lights flash when making an adjustment like changing to bright lights or activating the turn signal. left turn signal disengages cruise when activated. gm has updated the software twice due to service over the above complaints. fixes problem for short amount of time.

On several occasions my care has given me a warning of stability rack issues and it will then just shut down. this has happened in the middle of turning into parking lots as well as backing into parking spots. i then have to roll down and up my driver side and passenger side windows before i can restart my vehicle.

Im driving the car and randomly stops like died all the power and brakes, lights and radio go off and i have to park then the car wont start after few minutes

At slow speeds the vehicle has shut off twice now, once in the middle of los angeles traffic almost causing us to wreck! we have taken it in for that and a popping in the stearing wheel and they told us nothing was wrong. it is a major safety hazard and would like to see something done about it!

And 2015 chevrolet tahoe and suburban vehicles equipped with a base radio and an internal amplifier. the radios in the affected vehicles may become inoperative, and as a result, there would be no audible chime to notify the driver if the door is opened with the key in the ignition or no audible seat belt warning indicating the seat belts were not buckled. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) numbers 114, "theft protection and rollaway prevention," and 208, "occupant crash protection."

While driving vehicle at slow speeds around turns we experience a loss os power steering and total vehicle power. this is a current recall which the local dealer is has checked and says there is no problem

Vehicle equipped with i03 infotainment system. system has gone blank twice. without system, safety hazard warnings are inoperable. there is a recall bulletin but dealer is refusing to assist.

Multiple issues effecting this vehicle, and the issues occur when stabilitrac issue and abs issue pops up on screen. a/c also stops blowing cold air, and speedometer reads zero while moving. the stabilitrac and abs issues first occurred multiple times starting in the early warranty period.the main concern is the power assist malfunctioning causing total loss of steering control. when power assist re-engages, the vehicle will jump in the direction the steering wheel is turned. this is a major safety issue. i repeat that these issues started to occur during the early warranty period in 2015. the dealer could not duplicate the issues. there are multiple posts on line concerning the problems with the 2015 tahoe, some actually causing accidents.

Power steering loss occurs with the error message on the dic "steering assist is reduced drive with care", and additional error message "service (stabilitrak)".

On may 31, 2018 i purchased a 2015 chevy tahoe ltz with 30,000miles that had been traded in at a local ford dealership. within days of purchasing it, the car began having issues with a stabilitrak warning followed by other erratic computer warnings. in following weeks the car also began having complete power failure at low speeds while turning and continues to have these problems to date. the engine also began smoking in july, caused, as it turns out, by a jammed belt on the air conditioner compressor. this vehicle has had many power failures in parking lots, on streets, the highway tunnel in boston and most recently on labor day weekend when the car stalled in charlestown, ri while slowing down at an intersection. i had no warning flashers or brake lights and the doors would not open. with the help of the local police dept. who assisted me until the car restarted, i was able to drive it to a local residence. the ford dealership sent a flatbed truck to tow it back to the facility where i purchased it. the dealership continues to return the car to me as it doesn't fail when they drive it due to its erratic nature, and service by several gm dealers they have sent it to have not been able to fix the problems either. i am stunned to learn that this vehicle is not on the recent recall list from gm regarding power steering issues at slow speeds. in a phone call to gm customer assistance on 9/21/18 (case number 8-4650063752) the representative confirmed that my vehicle was not on the list. i trust that by reporting these problems to you gm will be able to resolve this issue and insure my safety and those around me while driving. i appreciate your assistance and would be happy to provide any documentation i have available if requested. attached are pictures of the vehicle and the id plate from the side of the car.

The vehicle has a problem with the interior courtesy lights flashing or pulsation when you engage the brake and /or use the turn signal.see general motors bulletin number pi1268b,dome lights/ flicker on/off when operating brake pedal or turn signal,2014-2015 cadalliac,chevrolet,gmc.the vehicle are a hazard to lift and limb to drive.the bulletin states this is not a safety issue,believe that.the ignition switches weren't a safety issue ,yet people were murdered by gm's problem

The rear passenger door will not unlock with either the key fob or the unlock button inside the vehicle. the children are not able to exit the vehicle on that side and must exit on the street side. the concern lies in the event of an emergency, the passenger in the back seat may not exit the vehicle nor may anyone enter from that door as it is locked permanently. i have reported this to general motors for which they told me this is not a safety issue and i will be fully responsible for diagnostics and repairs including all financial responsibility. i am aware of a similar problem in an older vehicle recently where the passenger perished in a fire as the door was inaccessible, also a gm suv. i was given a case number but was advised my case is now closed since my vehicle is passed the warranty. case # 8-4228203687.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet tahoe. when the brake pedal was depressed, the courtesy lights illuminated while approaching a stop at various points in time. the vehicle was purchased from an independent seller who also experienced the failure at 17,000 miles. the dealer (manassas chevrolet, 8000 sudley rd, manassas, va 20109, (703) 596-3031) was contacted. the manufacturer issued two electrical system recalls, one recall for the brake system, 322 tsbs for the electrical system, and 32 tsbs for the brake system. the vehicle was not included in a manufacturer recall for the brake system and electrical system. the manufacturer indicated that they had not developed a permanent remedy other than replacing the courtesy lamp on the front passenger and front driver's side. the approximate failure mileage was 80,500.

Pressing brake pedal causes interior lights to flash. happens intermittent for first few minutes from start of vehicle.

Driving on the highway and city street it has happened at least 3 times in the last couple months, the park assit, stabillity track and last night the steering assist came on along with other lite lights brake, abs which i have recorded on my phone. at the moment its at the dealer, per service advisor they " had the truck on drove it and has happened of now to them, requested to keep another day to recheck tomorrow.

Our tahoe has had an issue over the past 9 months. the engine unexpectedly stalls. this has happened twice while pulling out on to a busy highway. very frightening. we first took this to the dealer on 8/15/17. they spent hours trying to diagnose and found nothing. the stalling continued to happen occasionally. early december the stalling occurred while pulling in to our garage. we lost all power momentarily and it would not restart this time. i disconnected the negative battery cable and then reconnected it and everything worked fine again. we took it back to the dealer on 12/8/17. iafter researching this more it seems numerous people are having the same issue. traction control warning comes on when the stall occurs. this time i was more insistent that they fix this and explained my wife was scared to death to drive this. this time the dealer said that they have changed the negative battery cable on other customers vehicles and that has fixed the problem. my reaction was why didn't you tell us this last time and why isn't there a recall? so far this has fixed the problem. i contacted gm and they did not give me a straight answer on this proble. basically they said we may have had a defective part.

My 2015 chevrolet tahoe's interior lights flash brightly when the brake or left turn signal is applied. it is a very bright flash and extremely distracting at night. it happens while driving. i can imagine it is also very distracting to other drivers at night as well. it happens every time the brake or left turn signal is turned on. online research indicates other people also have this issue. it happens on all roadways at all times. but specifically at night is the safety concern. my passengers in the rear have also been complaining that it is physically stressful to them when the interior lights flash without them expecting them too.

Interior lights flicker when the left turn signal is or the brakes are applied. this can be extremely startling and dangerous when driving at night.

Air conditioning compressor. i had to replace the a/c compressor on my 2015 tahoe about during july 2015. my vehicle has about 65,000 miles. this was unusual in that i have never had to replace this part in any vehicle i have owned over the last 40 years. the service department at the dealership told me that they are using after market replacement parts because the gm supply chain is out of a/c compressors because they are replacing so many of them in tahoe/yukons, silverado pickups and cadillac escalades. the part cost me about $1,400 to replace the part. i contacted gm customer service and was told there was nothing they could do because i was beyond warranty. it seems to me that my situation is not an isolated case but part of larger systemic issue in gm manufacturing. if gm supply chain cannot keep compressors in stock because they are replacing so many defective parts, this rises to the level of being a recall.

Interior lights flickering when brake pedal is applied - this is both distracting and dangerous to the driver as this happens when we are in motion when the brake pedal is applied. i have seen other complaints online so wondering why there is not a recall.

The dome lights in second row flicker every time i press on the brakes. the dome lights also flicker occasionally when i put on the blinkers. i have complained to the dealer several times and they want to charge a high price or they act as if it is a small issue. dealer is sports chevy in silver spring, md. this has been going on for over a year.

Have a problem with electrical system. 1) the lane assist and reverse feedback comes and goes due to loose wiring.i found this is a common issue. 2) the new issue is once starting the vehicle and pressing brake pedal, interior lights flash. happens intermittent for first few minutes from start of vehicle.

When applying the brakes or using the left turn signal, the interior lights in the first, second and third row flash. this is extremely dangerous while driving at night.

Back interior lights flash on when driving, very dangerous at night. does it when use breaks. moving or stationary. all the time.

The interior dome lights flicker when applying the brakes and also when using the left turn signal. this happens whether the vehicle is stationary or in motion.
