My wife was driving this morning and suddenly the engine stopped working and the steering wheel locked. thank god she was driving in slow speed and could stop the vehicle and avoided a crash. it happened right before she had to turn left but the steering wheel locked and she went straight. she was scared a lot and what if this happened on the highway. yesterday we have serviced the vehicle at the dealership. there was some recall and they updated the ecu on the vehicle. *jb
Loose steering caused by obviously a design problem and should have a recall to address a permeate remedy. while the factory warranty paid for the first two replacements, and the extended warranty paid for all but the $50 deductible on the this third replacement this was by all accounts an ongoing problem with the 2005 chevrolet suburbans. *ak
