I own a 2005 chevrolet suburban, the rear lift gate has a window that is incorporated into the lift gate and can be opened independently there are plastic hinges attaching the glass to the lift gate and one of the two hinges failed and is broken. i have searched the forums on this issue and it appears to be widespread and chevrolet wants $1000.00 to replace the glass with the defective hinge. *tr
