2001 chevy suburban with vortec 5.3 l engine. during hot days or warm engine, the throttle sticks in "idle" position, requiring significantly heavier pressure on the accelerator pedal resulting in a sudden and uncontrollable acceleration when it releases for the stuck "idle" position. this event occurs at irregular intervals, on the vortec 5.3 engine, as a relative has a similar problem with the chevy pickup and the same 2001 5.3 vortec engine. *tr

Engine shuts off during first initial run. if i leave the house and get to the stop sign. it will shut off. even after the first few minutes of driving when i try to turn it will shut off. after the engine runs a while it operates normally. *tr
