Additionally, a small number of 2007-2012 model year vehicles that include; 2008-2013 chevrolet avalanche, 2008-2009 chevrolet colorado vehicles; 2007-2013 chevrolet silverado, 2008-2014 suburban, and tahoe vehicles; 2008-2013 gmc sierra and 2009-2012 yukon vehicles; 2008-2009 gmc canyon vehicles; 2009-2010 hummer h2, h3 and h3t vehicles; and 2008-2009 saturn vue and 2009 outlook vehicles may have been serviced with a chassis electronic module that could have internal contamination, causing an electrical short in the module. if the module experiences an electrical short, the vehicle could display a check engine light, stall, or fail to start. if the vehicle experiences this condition and stalls while in motion, there could be an increased risk of a vehicle crash. my vehicle has stalled multiple times while driving as well as failed to start. when these symptoms occurred they are accompanied by a check engine light for a u0109 code (loss of communication with fuel pump control module). i believe that my vehicle, although the vin is not listed, is affected by nhtsa recall bulletin number 14515 as quoted above.

No fuel from fuel pump, was running cut-off would not re-start,luckily i has just stopped for a soda.

Hello, i got a check engine light and found the code is for "low flow, check fuel control module, fuel pump". i found a recall bulletin no.: 14515b date: january 2015 subject: chassis electronic control module internal contamination. it is model year truck and the exact part number of the control module but the local dealer advised gm does not list my vin as being involved, even though my truck is listed in the model year bulletin and it is the exact part number for all vehicles!! my truck could stop at any time and is unsafe to drive. i can;t drive the vehicle for fear of it stalling and even gm advised it could stall in trafiic and is a safety hazard. please help. thank you.

My module fuel pump flow control part# 20759945 is not working and for some reason it is recalled for some vins for 2008 but not mine. if it is the same part and same problem why is not recalled for all? chevy has a tsb #14515b but company will only say engineers decide who gets the recall. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact stated that the vehicle would not start. an independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with a fuel pump module failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact stated that there was a recall issued by general motors, bulletin number: 14515b (chassis electronic control module internal contamination), but the vin was not included. the manufacturer was notified. the failure mileage was 172,000.

The engine died without warning while driving at about 30 mph. power steering and brakes were lost making the vehicle very difficult to control. i managed to stop the vehicle safely and had it towed to a chevrolet dealership. the cause of the engine die out was found to be an internal fault in the engine control module.

I have a short in my fuel pump flow control module. it causes my car to stall while while in operation, check engine light comes on, sometimes it doesn't start, etc. this issue has haunted me for about a year now. i found a recall bulletin from gm; #14515b. this is the exact part # and issue that i'm having but my vin # isn't part of the recall. is it possible that my vin was missed?

Started acting like it was fuel starved. mechanic said fuel pump. going uphill or under strain began jerking. when leveled out truck did fine. mechanic said pump in tank now sock gone bad. seen a lot of these go bad. *tr

2008 chevrolet silverado 1500, airbag sensor and check engine light came on with out accident or incident. we called gm and they told us to take it to a dealer. we took to the dealer we bought the truck from new. they ran diagnostic testing and it came back evaporative emission sensor and inflatable restraint front sensor were bad. as a safety/emissions problem it should have been covered under warranty. they gave us a $600 bill in which we made them call the gm representative. they then had us pay $250. 2 1/2 years later and airbag sensor light is back on without accident. this seems to be a big complaint with this year truck. it seems that if the sensor is not working and my family were to be in an accident my airbags would not deploy and we could be hurt or killed in an accident. please investigate the air bag sensors. *tr
