Tl* the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet monte carlo. the contact stated the driver's door lock failed and caused the drivers door to remain unlocked. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 189,000. the current mileage was 191,671.

Dt: the contact stated when opening the driver's side door the door will not stay open. the door will close unless he holds it open. the vehicle has been to the dealer, and they replaced the door stop. the replacement of the part did not repair the problem. also, the contact was having problems with the brakes. while pressing on the brakes he could feel some type movement in the brake pedal. this only happened when backing the vehicle out of the driveway. the driveway is on a slope position. the dealer indicated the braking problem was normal . *ak the dealer stated the rotors were out of round. updated 01/25/06. *jb
