The outboard drivers seat belt tension cable failed at the point where the cable was crimped (photos attached) which appears to be the same failure why our chevy traverse is currently being recalled, recall was issued five years ago and covered 1.4 million chevrolet traverse, buick enclave, gmc acadia and saturn outlook vehicles built between 2009 and 2014. in this case, the seatbelt snapped while the belt was being buckled. the car had not been in any accident.
